I did not know what to expect after the first review, but I threw caution to the wind and ordered Sudini\'s Retro. I am so happy with this purchase. They are easy to put on, comfortable to wear(standing and walking, and extremely easy to take off. Walking is a pleasure with the solid heel and the heel height is just right. It also goes without saying.....Customer Service at Zappos is in a class by itself. I hope nothing changes with the buyout by Amazon.

These boots fit well and are comfortable. There is no sliding around in the foot and the shaft fits well (not tight). I walked my dog in these boots to test them and they were fine. Fast walking for some distance. The heel is high enough to look feminine yet low enough to stand and walk with comfort. The quality and style are nicer than expected; simple style but looks classically stylish. I really like them plan to wear them sightseeing in the winter. Thanks for fast delivery.

Great for a while, but overall a bust -
I looooved these boots when I first got them - great-looking, comfy -- but even though I got them a full size larger than I normally wear, it was always a struggle to get them on. I had to pull on them so hard; I ended up ripping the leather out from the sole after wearing them only about 10 times. So now I have to get them fixed, and I might not bother. Disappointing!
