Swimmingly large boot -
Alas, had to return this boot: the calf area was swimmingly large on my 15 1/2" calves (size 9). Seriously, you could almost have fit another leg in there; it flapped around like a Wellington boot. The foot area, on the other hand, was a good fit, but quite tight on top - not suitable for those with high arches. The "flax seed pillows" were barely noticeable, other than as a sort of gritty feeling under the footbed. The boot felt rather light and slippery-soled compared to the boots from La Canadienne that I was trying on at the same time. On the up side, the leather looks nice, the boot has a very elegant plain design. I'm sure it will be the perfect fit for someone, just not me.
