Good shoes, but very expensive -
I bought these in hopes that it would help alleviate pain I've been having in my hamstring for over a year now. I think they do help. I notice the pain much less when I've been wearing them for a while. The problem is that since its summer, I am wearing shorts most of the time, and I just can't bring myself to wear these with shorts. They do look cute with longer boot cut jeans though. Mostly I wear them on my morning walks. I am hoping to notice more of a difference in my hamstring when the weather gets cooler and I can wear them more often without feeling like an idiot. :)
The only other thing I don't like about them is they don't come in half sizes above 10, and these run a little small. So I had to jump up to an 11 which is a little too big. I can still wear them comfortably, but a 10.5 would have been a better fit.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned, bar none. It takes about 10 minutes to get accustomed to wearing them, but after that WOW. I wore them around the house the first few days to get the feel of them, and now I never want to take them off. You really can feel the muscles in your legs, bottom and even your "core" working. They are like walking on air. I wear them at home all the time. I hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes and felt like I had been on there twice as long. I did buy mine 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and they fit perfectly.
KUDOS to Zappos. First time buyer, lifetime customer now. The customer service is top notch...fast, friendly and with a great sense of humor. I ordered my shoes on a Saturday afternoon, regular shipping, not expecting to see my shoes for at least a week. Shortly after I ordered them, I received a nice e-mail telling me my order had been upgraded to overnight shipping at NO additional cost. My shoes came Monday afternoon. I can't say enough about my first time experience with Zappos. I would highly recommend this store to anyone!

I LOVE THEM!
I've been curious about MBT's for awhile now and decided to take advantage of the clearance price. The reviews gave great advice on buying a size larger. They felt great right out of the box. I am a physical therapist everything about the design makes sense - and actually works! My posture improved immediately, as well as knee/foot pain and fatigue. I am hoping to buy other styles - they are just so pricey...

Fun to wear!
I love these shoes! I normally wear an 8.5 and originally ordered them a half size larger (9.0); I had to return them for a full size larger (wound up with the 9.5) and had a great experience with the customer service rep who not only sent me the new pair for next day delivery, she had noticed that the price had dropped from the time I purchased them and told me that I would be immediately refunded for the difference. THANK YOU!!! The first day I wore them, I 'broke them in' by taking a 4-mile walk and I got use to them very quickly. The shoes are a bit clunky and heavy looking but once they are on, they feel very light on the feet. The true test came a few days later... at Disneyland. I wore them 3 of 4 days during my vacation (on average 9-10 hours per day) and despite the heat and humidity, I never felt that my feet were overheating. I felt a little soreness on the second day that I wore them (on the outside part of my right foot) but no blisters. On the third day, I made sure my sock was pulled on snug and the soreness disappeared. An interesting thing I've noticed is that climbing stairs, you definitely will feel a burn in your quads. When I'm waiting at a light, I rock back and forth and notice that my calves get a nice workout too. They definitely attract a lot of attention and I have received many compliments on how 'cool' and 'funky' they look. My mom and sister were both very curious about the shoe and tested them out as well and want to buy their own pair! I look forward to going for my daily walks wearing my MBTs!

You can feel it working for you!
I ordered a full size larger based on the reviews -- I'm glad I did! I put them on and immediately felt my posture shift. Walking in them feels like being propelled forward (which can be helpful when you walk the steep hills in San Francisco). I felt the effect on my lower stomach and back thighs immediately.

Fabulous shoe -
The M.Walk's are fabulous and the reviewers are accurate regarding size. I wear a 9.5 narrow and purchased size 10.5 M.Walks. I ordered the shoe Monday night...the M.Walks were delivered Tuesday afternoon. The shoes are great and the reviewers comments referencing size are accurate. Honestly, the real story here is Zappos. Zappos sets the bar for customer service...bar none Zappos is the business model for success in an online marketplace.

Great shoes. Definitely heed the advice to order half a size up as the shoes do run a little small. Once you get the hang of them they are great to walk in. I definitely feel better since I started wearing them.

Helps with back pain -
I bought this shoe because of severe back pain. It definitely helps lessen the pain due to the negative heel aspect from the rocking of the shoe and because of the shock absorbency. The only problem I'm having is there is not much side stability and my feet are leaning in causing some ankle pain. My ankles tend to lean in but I don't notice it with other shoes. I did not want to end up causing damage to my ankles so I went to a specialty shoe store where they are making orthopedic inserts for me. I was told that would take care of that problem. I intend on wearing them a great deal after I get my inserts (hopefully that will help) because they are so great for my back. The shoe also looks much better on than I was expecting. I like it.

Too small!
MBTs are fabulous - I love my other pair - but these run VERY small. As another reviewer mentioned, the toe box is super tight, and even though I ordered my usual size I can't wear them for more than two minutes without my toes going numb. I guess they are trying to reduce the clunky look or something, but they overdid it. Will try a larger size.

Unsure...
I just got my MBT's yesterday and they are actually kind of cute, they fit and are easy to walk in. My question is this...I feel like my feet are tingling and squeezed even though I loosened them up. Has anyone experienced this?

Not totally sold -
I was excited to try on the most expensive walking shoe I had ever purchased, only to find that it was too small. I had ordered the shoe a half size bigger than my usual size, but could feel my toe against the end of the shoe. Overall, they were soft and comfortable, but way too tight, so I am exchanging them. I hope I will be "sold" on the benefits of spending this much on a pair of kicks!

The best sneaker I've ever known!
MBTs were recommended to me by my podiatrist, as not only do I have painful arthritic knees, but also a halux rigidus, or arthritis in my big toe joint. I had already bought a pair of the MBT "Shadow" from Zappos, so I knew what to expect in terms of getting used to the rocking and balancing motion (it sounds scary at first, but within two days I was wearing my MBTs all day long - no pain, cushion-y comfort. The M-Walk sneaker is perfect for my morning fitness walk, which had been curtailed because conventional sneakers were causing either toe or knee pain or both - even with custom orthotics. I am now back to three miles a day (I am 64) with no knee or foot pain to speak of - and no orthotics. Amazing! I bought the model with the orange trim - very cool for a senior! I felt even cooler when I noticed a twenty-something wearing the same shoes a few days later... One bit of advice - they do run small, this style even more than the "Shadow". The M-Walks which fit me best were a full size larger - 41 2/3 or US 10 1/2 - than the 9 1/2 I normally wear. I have just recently bought the men's fisherman sandal (Gil) in a size 41, which works perfectly for my big feet. Warning: if you have "difficult feet", once you start wearing MBTs, nothing else will do. They make such a difference in comfort and my ability to do the things I want to do (I live in New York City and walk everywhere) that I even wear them out to dinner - and the opera!

I have trouble with my knees and lower back. Since trying the MBT shoes, I have used nothing else. I love MBTs!! I ordered these in orange and have had many compliments on them.

I have tried these at that advice of my Avon representative. I have terrible artritis in knees and facet joint syndrome with degent. Discs in my back. Terrible pain. I am so pleased with these shoes. My 1st test was with the ones from Avon by curves. I am now searching for the official ones, possibly the high. The price is extreme so I have heard that what is best is to search for the styles that are discontinued. These are quite a bit. Highly advise to search all retailers because not every retailer has the discontinued styles or colors on sale. I highly recommend these shoes. They do work miracles. At least they have for me.

If you want to lose weight, take a look at the MBT sport high, which has a 2" pivot sole. The M. Walks are at 1.5". (At >$200 a pop, had I known the difference, I would have just gotten those.) I love that they are rolling. The loss of impact when walking is huge, and you don't actually realize just how much until you try MBTs for comparison. I also felt like my lower abs were used. As to losing weight, I don't think I've lost any (but then again I only have my last vanity lbs left). More important, because they make it so easy to walk, I am more inclined to get in walks around my neighborhood instead of taking the bus everywhere. If you have wide feet, order a size up.

Great shoes - be sure to size up!
Love the style of these MBTs! I sized up a half size, but probably could have gone a whole size, although this brand of shoes should fit you snugly. They are comfortable and MBTs have helped my knees, tendons and frozen big toe tremendously. They've also strengthened my legs, hamstrings and inner thighs in particular. I would recommend them to anyone who has joint issues or has had surgery, as I have, for torn meniscuses. This is my fourth pair of MBTs and I'm sure it won't be my last!!!

I have 3 pairs of MBTs - the one I ordered from Zappos was the same size as the others but I found it to be one size smaller. I'm 40-something and I don't think my foot grew or my arches dropped within 5 months of the purchase of my last MBTS!!! This shoe is amazing and worth the price!

I ordered them a half size larger than normal and they fit perfectly. I feel like my legs are working harder when I wear them. I don't wear them every day because it does feel like work, but in a comfortable way. I also got very bright shoes so they are not appropriate for wearing every day.

I love, love, love my new MBTs. I was warned that the shoe runs small, which it does. I wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9.5. Perfect fit! I was told to wear them a short time until my legs and back adjusted. Once I put them on, I didn't want to take them off. For some it might require a bit of practice rolling from heel to toe but it is worth it. My job requires me to spend hours on my feet. If there was a chair nearby I would grab it, even for a moment. Now I find myself looking for excuses to walk to the office or run errands. I tried a black pair but they looked dowdy to me. I bought the white, grey, and orange style and they haven't disappointed, too cute. Spendy but so cushy and so comfy...I plan to order another pair.
