I use this shoe for school once a week for dress day. Between classes, for the day I usually walk a mile or more, my feet do not hurt one bit at the end of the day, so that is a plus. Also has a good look to it.

These shoes look and feel great. They are a rather rigid shoe as opposed to a thin, soft, casual upper.

I like this shoe which is comfortable and attractive. The only thing I don't like is the way the shoelaces are strung - I had to remove them and relace the shoes conventionally. This is my favorite shoe which I keep reordering time after time.

Looks great, but no so great worn.
The shoe is very comfortable; however, the past couple of times that I have worn them I have a blister on my tendon. Just be careful with what you buy and wear before you soil them because you can't return them.

They are fine looking shoes, but not as comfortable as they look. Seem to be a little narrow at the toe area.

I wear an 11 narrow and Zappos is my shoe store for selection, value and first class customer service.
This shoe has classic style and great comfort. It goes from the office to after hours of fun and is always in style. Downside is lack of true arch support and not water proofed. If Bass would address those issues the shoe would be perfect.

Corporate Look -
The Exeter model has a more formed toe box than the regular buck and a smoother finish. This gives it a slightly more formal look. It works well at the office for this reason but doesn't have the more casual "college" look which many are after to wear with jeans and khakis.

I'm a loyal Bass buyer and have had more than 5 pair of this style over the years. It's very comfortable and is easy to maintain. It looks as good with a pair of casual slacks as it does with jeans.

Classic, easy to wear w/ narrow sizes -
I have a narrow heal and have difficulty finding shoes that fit. These Bass bucks fit great, though. The back of the shoe site high on my tendon and feels like it might need broken in for real comfort, but the look is a classic and will serve me well for both work and casual wear.
Zappos' shipping was phenomenal! I got these in one business day; free! Couldn't be happier with customer service. Now I know why they're "the web's most popular shoe store."

I've worn several pairs of dirty bucks and have to say that this brand feels the best. They do take a little while to break-in but then feel great. The sole is thicker on these than most other brands. I think they will wear longer.

Dusty Bucs are hard to find!
It is getting hard to find this style in a quality shoe. The Bass Exeter continues the tradional, classic dusty buc style in a comfortable shoe. They are heavier than the original, US-made Bass shoe and more like the US-made Dexter shoe, but the grooved sole is a welcomed change. I just purchased a second pair from Zappos.com, and they are very comfortable but the back requires flexing when new to prevent soreness at the heel. The service from Zappos is great!

These shoes are great! If your foot is truly narrow, you can't go wrong with these bucks. They fit perfectly, and I know that they will last with a name like Bass behind them. As for Zappos, I received my order in just one day and there were no shipping charges. . . I will certainly be shopping here in the future.

First time Order -
This was the first time I ordered from your compay. I thought I had found the website of a lifetime, but much to my amazement, your secret was out. I am not sure where I have been. These shoes are my husband's favorites for everyday, whetther with jeans or a pair of khakis. The shoe fits great and looks great. I was impressed with the speed of the delivery. I, too, ordered the woman's version of this show. I was not as successful. The shoe was too narrow for me, and I have yet to find agood substitute. I was equally impressed with the return policy. We will be ordering again from your company.
