Light Up Skechers -
I ordered these for my son who is 5. He wanted them in a store, but they didn't have his size, so I ordered them from Zappos. As always, they arrived promptly. However, within 3 days the strap came unglued from the velcro. Rather then sending them back (because my son really loves the light up feature of course), I super glued the strap back to the velcro strip. Now after only a couple weeks, the shoes are in such shabby shape, they need to be replaced. They did not hold up to the wear & tear of a 5 year old.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Geox of Primigi Kids hold up MUCH better!

MY son's sneakers -
The Skechers Kid's S Lights are very easy to slip on and off, able to be tightened, are true to size (perhaps just a little wider than expected) and well made. Though I initially thought that they might look too babyish for a 6 year old, they look cool and he definitely thought so too!

 |  | This is the first time I have ever trusted buying something over the internet. I saw Zappos on my local news, and I was really impressed to see how well the owner took such great care of his employees, and how happy everyone seemed to be during the interview...this was a company I just had to check out. I am a diabetic who has had so much foot and leg pain due to my walking 14-16 miles per day on concrete as I run a sales counter by myself...I just love the shoe I chose. I wish I would have known about this fantastic site earlier. But I have this saved in my favorites, as I will certainly be buying from them again and again...I have mentioned this site to many of my customers and family members...thank you Zappos...a company to be proud of...
