Despite the look of the shoe as a less bulky comfort shoe... it's actually quite roomy, requiring at least for me, wearing thick/thicker sox. It's a really comfortable shoe. Note on the black… it's hard to see that the center strip is really patent... makes it a tiny bit weird to wear as a casual shoe.

Wonderful shoes -
These are the most comfortable and walking shoes. They even have a nice sleek appearance. I have worn them every day since they arrived.

Versatile comfort -
I own two pairs of this style. Bought the black suede first last autumn and found them delightful, so this spring I bought the light color. They go well with many styles of pants and some skirts, so I wear them to work. I walk a mile or two during lunch and these are good for pavement walking in comfort.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I like many styles in Mephisto. I have purchased at least seven styles of Mephisto over the years. Worth it.

These shoes are not at all worth the price. They are very uncomfortable. Will not buy another pair of Mephistos. I did not buy them from Zappos. That was a mistake. The greatest part of Zappos is the shipping. The second best part are the reviews.
That's why I am back here for another pair of shoes.

WOW!
These shoes are perfect in look, fit, and comfort. The moment I took them out of the box, put them on and laced them up, I did not want to take them off, and I'm wearing them as I write this. Really a fine shoe.

 |  | I have never been a big online shopper until I recently found myself with little time to go out and shop. I was browsing around for some boots online one day and after noticing my boss frequently getting Zappos packages, I decided to check you out. I found some great boots but they were a tad too small when I got them yesterday. I was bummed thinking I'd have to wait several more days to get my boots but I ordered the next size up last night at 10:00. I woke up to an email this morning saying my shipping was upgraded to priority shipping free of charge and would ship out TODAY?! Not even twelve hours after I placed my order! I hardly had time to get the tape on the box to return the first pair of boots and my new ones should be on my front porch when I get home (I tracked them and they are out for delivery!)
