Comfortable and good for work -
These are comfortable shoes and are perfect for work. I usually have issues with elastic heel straps but no issues with these shoes. Worth the price.

Beautiful sandals (bronze), not uncomfortable but my foot slides forward, I did not intend to hike with them so I guess it's ok. Nice for going out in the evening. Zappos is the best, I needed a size up and I got the exchange pair overnight. Thank you again.

Finally, a navy sandal!
Sometimes, it is difficult to find a comfortable and attractive navy sandal that is also versatile. Finally, this Damica has filled the bill!

I love these shoes. Am going to order them in every color if I can. Comfortable and elegant enough for the office. I can wear them all day walking in Manhattan with no problems.

Wonderful! These shoes were comfortable from the get go! The strap seemed to slip a bit in the beginning but now they fit like a glove. They are handsome and go with almost anything – pants, skirts, etc. Love these shoes!!!

Nice style and the wonderful comfortable shoes for which Donald Pliner is known, I bought this shoe in two colors. Highly recommend it for anyone with sensitive feet who like the summer freedom of a sandal-like shoe.

I have worn many Donald Pliner shoes and my shoe size is usually a standard 8. This shoe was a 1/2 size smaller so I sent it back for an 8.5. Per usual, Zappos was quick and efficient with the return/exchange process. The color is a very dark navy so it will match lighter blues.

Well made sandal, if you don't mind the squeeze -
Beautiful sandal, the dressiest of the casual types. They were out of my size in black so I took a chance on black metallic. Love the color -- just enough sheen to make it interesting. Also, the heel is kinda egg-shaped which makes it less clunky-looking. But the earlier comment about "support hose" hits home. I wear a 9W and it does squeeze. Wish they carried a wide in this style! But overall, like all Pliner’s, they're well made and I'm willing to take a chance that they'll stretch a bit over time.

Slimming Look -
For the wider foot, this shoe is slimming. The style is nice, with a great tear drop heel, and they don't have the appearance of a wide "clodhopper" sandal. They are generally comfortable. However, the only drawback, and I've experienced this with all my Pliner "elastic" shoes, is that after a lengthy wear, my feet start to fall asleep. I guess it's like compression hose.

Fantastic shoe -
I had these a month before I wore them because I wasn't sure if they fit correctly. I kept them and they're great looking and very comfortable. Zappos has the best selection of DJP's, my favorite shoes.

Walking on a cloud -
The very first time I wore the Damica, it felt as if it had been made expressly for my feet. There was no breaking in time. I like the shoe so much that I now have 4 pairs - in different colors of course!

Normally, I go down a size in Donald Pliner shoes, but not this one. I had to order my normal size and even then it felt a little bit tight.

Very comfortable...
These shoes are a great style for pants and capris day or night. The fit is pretty good. I love Donald Pliner shoes, but I really the quality has really suffered. I had to send the first pair back because they were defective - one elastic band gaped open and there was shoe glue on the top of one shoe. Thank goodness Zappos sent me another pair the very next day.

Extreme comfort!
These are terrific shoes. I, too, bought the bronze and am now thinking about buying the black. I have a feeling that the reviewer who felt these were "seriously sexy", however, was mistakenly reviewing a different style of Pliners. Comfy they are, stylish, too, but sexy? I'm afraid not. No bling. Doesn't matter to me though because this pair is great. The bronze is dark and lovely, too, not cheesy looking as some of the metallics can appear.

I didn't know if I would like these when I ordered them off the website, but I liked the first pair (bronze) so much I had to have it in another color (black). Very comfortable, but chic. It will be perfect for our business casual office as well as out and about around town. Good for walking.

Seriously Sexy!
These shoes are elegant, beautiful and very, very sexy! My husband loves them! The crystal ornamentation is just enough sparkle to set them apart from other black dressy shoes, but not enough to clash with whatever you are wearing with them. They go with everything from very formal to dressing up jeans if you would like. Either way, your feet look great!
