OK...
I ended up returning these because I decided I hated the buckle (I'm just not a buckle girl) which is pretty much just for decoration- I couldn't tighten it any more with just the two holes, so I should have gone down a size maybe. Very comfortable otherwise! I'm kinda bummed because this color is perfect for a summer sandal!

Gorgeous, high quality shoe - worth the $$$
I am very happy with these - no breaking in period required - I wore them out to dinner a couple of times and then I wore them for a day-long shopping trip with my mom, and my feet were happy. They are very stable for platforms and well-constructed, and the leather is beautiful. The sole is also lightly cushioned. I ordered the natural color which was a little lighter than I expected but I decided I liked it anyway. My only complaint is that there isn't much room for adjustment in the buckle - there are only two grommet holes. I am either going to have to line the strap to make it more snug or drill another hole in the buckle, because the shoe is already pretty loose on me and I think I will need to tighten it down the road. I wear a size 11-B - my feet are definitely not narrow, though they are low-arched. If I went down a size it wouldn't be long enough. But, I love this shoe - it's bold and yet elegant, and versatile with jeans, skirts, and dresses. This is my third pair of Frye shoes and you can't beat the workmanship, quality, and attention to detail in this price range. I am so glad Zappos carries all of the styles!

Frye's Buckle shoes -
These are very cute in look. I was a little disappointed with the lack of comfort. They seem like they would be very comfy but actually hurt my feet after a long day. The heels seem very heavy.

Comfortable and stylish -
This shoe dresses up or down really well and has good support and cushioning. I did have blisters from the strap rubbing in a few places on the first day that I wore them, but they've since broken in and are very comfortable.
