Great walking beat shoe! I've been in police work for thirty years and these are the most comfortable boots I've used in a long time. I am on my feet for hours at a time & it's easy to get aching feet, legs & back, when my shoes are not comfortable. These shoes have comfort & support. A great value.

My new shoes are looking very good. I am breaking them in and have found them to be very well built. I only have one problem with this item and it is that the shoelaces lace from the outside. Otherwise, this a great shoe!

These Converse Waterproof Hikers are the most awesome shoes I've ever bought for work. They are very light for their size and feel extremely comfortable with plenty of room for you to wiggle your toes. They actually feel very much like quality basketball shoes! I believe it's the composite safety toe of these Converse that makes them far superior to standard steel toe of other shoes. In my opinion, these shoes look very stylish (especially the brown ones). They still look rugged, yet smooth; rock solid, yet nimble. I do disaster restoration work which involves saving buildings from major floods. I am always on my feet and on the move a lot, constantly lugging around industrial equipment in some dilapidated buildings. I've worn all kinds of boots and steel-toe shoes over the last fifteen years. So far I've had these awesome shoes for a month and can gleefully report that I have had no calluses, no chafing and no painfully tired feet. These Converse blow all other footwear away that I or anybody else I know of when comparing work shoes in industrial or hazardous work environments. I strongly recommend ordering the Converse Waterproof Hikers from Zappos.com. By the way these shoes do fit a bit wide so you may want to order a half size smaller if you have normal arch feet. Otherwise they FEEL and LOOK supreme!

The shoes felt incredible. Can't beat the comfort of a gym shoe in a work boot. One of the few boots offered in the wide size, very good fit. Another good point is that it is waterproof & the composite toe provides excellent protection without getting cold like most steel toe boots. Most importantly, Zappos delivery was very expedient.

Best Work Shoe I've Owned!!!!
I'm on my feet all day and also have to have safety toes in whatever shoes I wear. My feet had blisters and calluses all over them from all previous shoes I've owned. I got to the point where I couldn't even walk at home barefoot. Now that I have these I no longer have foot problems. I no longer have to walk in pain anymore and all the blisters and calluses are gone. I'll definitely stick to this brand of shoe in the future.

NOT BAD!!
I ordered an EE since I have a wide foot. Not needed. Next time I buy a pair of these a normal size will do fine. EE-Shoe has plenty of room with a little extra. I did add an insole for extra comfort which helped with the extra room.

A real boot for my small feet -
I'm a 5 ft 2 28 year old with size 5 1/2 feet. I do a lot of walking and need real boot, not some tarted-up kiddy boot. Zappos has been a godsend- they have been my most reliable source for a real boots and shoes in my size. This boot is no exception. It is true to size, well-constructed, and has a no-nonsense appearance. It's also quite comfortable.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: For small feet, also look at the Ecco boots- but be prepared for the cost.

Great duty boot!
I'm a police officer in a large urban city and got these a couple of days ago. Easily the most comfortable boot I've worn in my 19 years on the job! They feel like sneakers. I've worn them for five straight hours standing and walking on concrete while working a major league baseball game and no foot pain or soreness at all. Buy these now, you won't regret it.

My Husband Loves These!
This is the 2nd pair of these shoes that my husband has had. He wanted me to order them again and I couldn't find them in stock ANYWHERE except Zappos.com. On top of that they have the best service I've ever seen! Will definitely be ordering more shoes. Thank you Zappos!

 |  | Thank you very much... I just went to the door and there were my beautiful new blue slides. I can't believe I received them less than 24 hours after I ordered them. Service, service, service. Your people know what is the most important thing to do to bring customers back time after time after time. You can have an excellent product, but if the customer doesn't feel important, it makes no difference what one is selling. Too bad more people in the business world don't apply
