These are SO cute. I loved that the style was so different than your average "comfort" shoe. These are classy BUT didn't work for me. I'm an 11 wide and on my feet all day teaching. I just couldn't get my foot to stay straight in the shoe. It kept sliding out over the back over the heel. I am SO sad I have to send them back, but thankful Zappos will make it easy for me. I'd give them a try, cause they're so cute and maybe they'll work for you. If not, you've got the Zappos awesome return policy to fall back on.

I love these shoes!
I bought them in black and they look great with everything! A sexy, yet casual sandal that is finally comfortable. They are adjustable too, which makes walking longer distances in them wonderful.

Exactly what I needed!
I was just on vacation and brought these new sandals with me and literally walked 10-15 miles a day in them, and my feet were fine!! I ordered Wide size and they were perfect. They seem to run true to size and have just enough support!

Great comfort -
This is the perfect walking/comfort sandal. With the soft adjustable/Velcro straps and extra cushion on the foot bed, this sandal was ideal right out of the box. I ordered the beige and pewter. The pewter color is great. It updates the style - the color is not as "graphite" as other pewter colors. It has a little "gold" to it. A great shoe all around.

Absolutely love this shoe!
I bought 2 pairs because they are incredibly comfortable. I just got back from a major walking vacation all over Cairo, Jerusalem, Turkey, and Greece, and my feet never hurt at all. (Which is a rarity!)

Wonderful sandal, can't say enough about it. Have it in 3 colors, all beautiful. No buckles to cut into your skin or stockings; wide straps are comfortable, could use more arch support but the sole & heel are "bouncy" to make up for that. Nice with jeans or "casual dressy".

I bought them to take on my vacation. I am very pleased that you can adjust them if you get swollen feet. They look quite dressy, so I will be able to wear them in the evening.

The comfort and versatility can't be beat!
For those interested in comparing the Lucena and Saratosa in pewter metallic, the Lucena is slightly lighter in color with an almost bronze tinge. Like others have mentioned, I also experienced my heel slipping off to the side, but only in the Lucena. I had no heel slippage in the Saratosa at all because I was able to secure my heel with the 3rd velcro strap that adjusts the distance around the back of the foot. The Lucena has no such adjustment, its 2nd velcro strap adjusts mostly the front straps only. I thought the Lucena looked more stylish than the Sarasota in terms of design. However, the front ankle strap on the Lucena was higher on the leg which felt slightly less comfortable. The Sarasota also provides protection to the sides of the foot on either side, but the Lucena is more open. I finally decided to keep the Saratosa because I wanted the heel stability and my wide foot looks slimmer in it than in the Lucena. I wear a 9.5 XW. The leather straps on both are just heavenly and both sandals are wonderfully comfortable right out of the box!

Fabulous and great looking!
I ordered these in pewter, which is a really versatile color, like a neutral. When I tried them on at work, everyone loved them immediately, and they're incredibly comfortable. I recently had foot surgery and believe it or not, I wore these for the 4th of July dinner and fireworks, lots of walking on uneven and crowded terrain, and my feet were LESS sore than when I started out. When I first tried them on at work on the carpet, I thought I was having the same thing a few other reviewers noted, that your heel seems to "fall" to one side, but walking outside under more realistic circumstances; I didn't notice it at all. Very comfortable, very stylish, and pewter goes with everything.

My wife has a problem with swelling of her feet and ankles. We consider it a major victory when she finds a shoe that she can wear, and this is one of those shoes. Thanks to your great return policy, she was able to try a shoe previous to this one which did not fit. You do a great service for people like my wife who have health problems. We only have one slight complaint (and it is slight) with the shoe. When the swelling is at its worst, the hook and loop ankle strap barely fits around the ankle. A slightly longer ankle strap would make the shoe perfect.

Lovely Lucena -
Very, very nice shoe. Comfortable, adjustable, practical design, soft leather. My sweetie said, "Pretty! You could wear them to the bluegrass festival or to the opera!" I have narrow feet, bunionectomies and other foot problems, but these make me happy. And they don't look orthopedic! Thank you for carrying narrow sizes.

Feel like walking on butter. These are so comfortable that I didn't want to take them off. They feel like you’re wearing slippers.

Comfort from the start - Walked all day could not tell they were new. Got compliments. Have had 3 knee replacements and a broken ankle in the past – must have good comfortable shoes to wear to work and for daily wear. Thanks Zappos for the free shipping and fast delivery and easy return.

Disappointed - Very uncomfortable due to raised padding in middle of heel that is sharp and painful. Not very attractive because of top strap that hits near ankle.

This is by far my most favorite sandal that I have ever owned. I got it out of the box, put it on and wore all day. Needs no breaking in. Awesome. Will buy other colors.

Not what I was hoping for -
I'm sending these back. First problem is not really the shoe's fault: I need a narrow shoe, especially in this type of sandal, but Zappos was out of narrow widths in my size. I ordered a medium width, hoping it might work, but it doesn't - my feet migrate from side to side in these sandals. Second problem for me is that the shoe is uncomfortable because the cushy pad in the middle of the heel area is raised so much from the footbed that my heel keeps slipping off it and down on one side or the other, so that I end up walking with my heel perched precariously on one of the edges of the shoe. Third and final problem is the sandal's look - when you put them on, the strap that crosses your foot highest/closest to the ankle is placed higher than usual and makes the shoe look a bit more orthopedic than I'd like. On the plus side, the leather used in the strapping is very soft and perhaps these shoes are good for someone else. Not for me though.

I bought this sandal, in pewter, based on the Zappos.com reviews. I was afraid they might look matronly, but they don't. They are so comfortable and stay on my very narrow feet. I have received many compliments from "stylish" friends, and feel like I look very good when I wear them, not to brag.

I've had such good luck with Clarks Springers that I thought I'd give these dressier sandals a shot. Sometimes I'm on my feet nearly all day and these sandals are fine until the very end of the day when everything hurts. The leather doesn't seem to breathe like my other Clarks.

The Clarks I ordered was only offered in wide fitting, not the extra wide I normally wear. I did keep and wear the shoe but have subsequently found that it is available in extra wide fitting. Perhaps you should have mentioned on your site that the wider fitting would be available.

Mostly wonderful -
Bought these shoes in desperation after spraining my ankle and needing instant shoes for a wedding. Read the reviews and I agree for the most part these are instantly walkable comfortable shoes that worked for me. Only down side...side closure in front covers smallest toes and for me causes some rubbing.
