This was my first time purchasing from Zappos and I have to say I was thoroughly satisfied. My shoes basically arrived within a day or two and look exactly liked they appeared online.

I just bought my 2nd pair of Cousteaus, first the sage, now the navy. This will be my 3rd pair of Claes. My first was black Romare Highs. If I didn't have those in black, I probably would have bought the black Cousteaus instead. These are a lot more comfortable than the Romare Highs. They're comfortable, easy to put on, and unique. They remind me of the Vans velcro shoes, but so much cleaner. They stand out and no one else has them! The width of the toe is slim enough and doesn't bulge out like other shoes. Highly recommended.

I wanted a shoe that my feet would appreciate by not rebelling by hurting, and the Clae Cousteau was that pain reliever for my feet. I don't think I like shoes anymore because Clae is more than just a shoe, it is a part of my body; you have your arms, head, neck, and then you have Clae. Perfectly made for my time.

Just as good as last time.
This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought & reviewed. They are just as good as the last pair and I highly recommend them to anyone who has problems with shoe laces and needs boat shoes.

Perfect for sailors who have difficulty tying laces.
I needed a boat shoe for my husband who has difficulty tying laces. This is the only one I found and it is perfect. Apart from the velcro closure it is a traditional boat shoe.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
