This is a stiff boot.
I was fooled by the "stretch" description. If you are expecting a comfortable fabric feel, look elsewhere. These boots are quite stiff and what you might expect from a waterproof boot. The toe is constructed of molded plastic and the plastic cut into the top and sides of my foot. The toe was very pointy - more so than the picture depicts. The circumference of the boot was a good fit for me. The boot is a great price however.

Sexy boot! Wore with captain hottie costume also from Zappos! It was a hit! I do not have large calves but even with that the boot zips up nicely. Appreciate the pink silk bag included! Thank you Zappos!

Nice fit but bulky ankles -
I bought these boots to replace another pair of stretch Neoprene boots that look almost identical. The ankle on these is very bulky and "unsexy" to say the least. While they look almost identical to the other pair I have, the ankles on my other pair are very sleek, giving a sexy silhouette. On the upside, the foot is comfortable, and they did fit my wide calves. I am returning these for a more expensive pair made by RSVP.

Great boots!
I have a pair very similar to these in brown by Moda Spana, but couldn't get them any more. I did get these in black, however, and they really are exactly like the other ones I have. Because they are so stretchy, they will accommodate a larger calf - average to slightly larger than average. I haven't worn these out yet, but I would imagine that they will be just as comfortable as the Moda Spana pair I have, which I can do an entire day working retail in!

Very Comfortable and Great Silhouette -
These are extremely comfortable - more so than any of my leather boots as they are stretchy and very forgiving (I had a similar pair that I wore through an entire pregnancy and they grew with my ankles!). I also like the really slick, dark black look against this season's tights. Black leather is very nice, but this boot almost blends with the tights and gives you a lean look and silhouette. Highly recommend.

Wide calf boot -
The boot looks good and I got it because; it said it stretches to fit wide calves. The boot did zip up but after walking in it no more than an hour it began to slide down my leg and the threading at the top is coming out, but that can be fixed. Even though the boot slides down at least it has style which is very very hard to find when you have a wide calf.

Good shoe for the buy -
This is a good looking shoe, but not the perfect boot for cold weather. Requires insulation for warmth when the temperature drops.
