Bought these beautiful flip flops for an older friend who is developing swelling problems. She loved them and walked around at home a litte, now she is gone for 2 months to Aruba and will be hearing back around the end of OCT, will write more then. She is a woman who does not wear flip flops, so I had to be careful with the toe fitting and a little lift, not flat like a pancake. She spends her days, all day, on the beach and these were designed for a woman like her. Can shower on the beach with them on and walk around the condo and out to dinner, can't wait to hear all about her trip.

This is one awesome flip flop. There is a ribbon for between the toes, which is very comfortable. I wore these site seeing for a whole day and did not have any red areas from rubbing. I have had red irritated areas with some of the shoes that have plastic between the toes. This shoe also has great arch support, which is rare for a flip flop.

Nice flip flops. They're comfortable and have good arch support. They have a sneaker sole with good traction. Expect threads to come undone from the edge of the footbed and from the straps themselves. There is an end to it, but a surprising amount of threads come unraveled at first. Just cut what unravels. They'll get a sort of weathered look that I like. I didn't notice the metal tag at all. Definitely the most comfortable nicer looking flip flops I have.

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. Very comfortable, with good arch support. She likes the pattern and colors - says it looks good with her little piggies.

I love the North Face, except...
...Flops are comfy except that the metal "The North Face" sign, right on the part that goes over your foot, digs into me when walking (only on the left one). I’m hopeful either it will loosen up, or my foot gets used to it. But otherwise, a quality product.

Fun & Comfy -
These are really cute flip flops- nice subtle arch support unlike any other flip flops I've had. Nice design, went perfect with my swim suit! My only complaint is that after wearing them twice a thread came undone and they are on their way to falling apart :( perhaps just a defective one- just one shoe though, not both. But they are still great none-the-less. Thanks Zappos for your awesome service!

Cute but not so good quality -
I ordered these and was so excited when they arrived. The excitement was short lived. The straps over the top of the foot shredded small strings all over the place (didn't come off of the strap-stuck out) after wearing them around my house for only a short while. I returned them.
