These shoes are extremely comfortable and very versatile. I wear them for long walks and never get tired. When they got dirty on a rainy day, I just washed the dirty spots and that did the trick.

Right out of the box they are comfy, like a pair of slippers. Only negative comment, as others have said, is that there's a chemical smell when you open the box. I think it's coming from the storage bag that's included. Hopefully it will go away in time.

Just one thing short of 100%!
I was so pleased when my shoes arrived the day before I went on vacation. They fit well, look good, and are extremely comfortable. Basically I'm very happy with them. The only thing I did NOT like was the rather bad odor coming from them - it was very strong when I first opened the box. I left them out of the box in the hope it would go away soon, but it didn't. It's fading now, almost a month later, but my whole closet smelled really awful - it was very, very strong. I'm guessing it's coming from whatever adhesive is used, but surely there's something else the manufacturer could use that didn't smell so obnoxious?

I was disappointed with the shoe because it is somewhat cheap-looking. It is quite comfortable; and I my feet are so hard to fit that I'm keeping them.

The shoes felt weird the first time I walked around in them -
I waited while these shoes were backordered and when I finally received them, what a disappointment in how they felt when I first walked in them. The heels felt wobbly, like the foot of the shoe and the heel weren't constructed correctly. Not a solid base at all. I didn't feel confident walking around in them. I bought a pair of espadrilles that are the exact same style as these for a lot less and they feel much more "secure" while walking in them than the Fitzwells. I will be returning them to Zappos.

Nice, but...
It’s a pretty nifty canvas sandal, but the sole started coming undone in less than 3 months! It is a great height for a low wedge, but there is no cushion in the heel.

Worth the money -
It took me about 3 whole weeks, looking day and night on the internet for a shoe to fit my size 10 feet with a bum ankle and 2 prior foot surgeries. I finally came across the Fitzwell Resort shoe. I was looking for a comfortable shoe because of foot problems and I needed to purchase a comfortable wedge for a cruise coming up. When it arrived, I was praying that it would fit and sure enough, it fit perfectly. It can be worn right out of the box. I usually wear a 10W but I have noticed from going into the wide width shoe stores that manufacturers of wide shoes are cutting back on the width. Due to this factor, I ordered a 10WW. FITS LIKE A GLOVE- PERFECT. Matter of fact, I am going to order the natural color cause this with this kind of comfort, you can never have too many. I have seen lots of wedge sandals for a lot less money but it's like anything else in life: you get what you pay for. This shoe supports my flat, falling arch feet and since I'm having issues with my feet swelling up on me, the close toe and heel out is just what I need for my situation as well as for my free style cruise in October.

Cheap-looking, smells bad -
This doesn't look like a $60 shoe. The glue shows, and smells bad. I haven't worn them yet because they've been sitting outside -- I'm hoping the smell dissipates when it finishes outgassing its volatile chemicals. I haven't sent them back because I do need a shoe of this type, and I'm hoping I'll be able to wear them eventually.

Super comfortable!!
This shoe is the first Fitzwell brand I've tried. It is extremely comfortable and can be worn for hours and still feel comfortable. I wear a wide width, and the front of the shoe, which is ordered in a 6 1/2 Wide is a perfect fit for my foot, but the back of the show is kind of narrow and needs to be a bit wider. I'm not totally crazy about the styling of the shoe, but I needed something comfortable in navy, so it's fine.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: For comfort, I highly recommend anything from Softwalk.

Comfortable summer shoe -
I was looking for a closed-toe shoe (I only wear closed toe shoes at work) that would look nice with linen work dresses. This shoe worked nicely. I wanted a simple style, without ankle straps. This shoe felt comfortable on my size 10 feet, but as another reviewer mentioned, could use a bit of extra forefoot padding if you'll be doing a lot of walking.

Exactly what I was looking for -
Love this shoe. I hate flip-flops and strappy, open toed shoes, so this is exactly what I was looking for. The heel is just the right height and the shoe is very comfortable and (I think) attractive!

This shoe looks very nice and is fairly comfortable. The shoe is a little wide for me and the strap is too large for my foot, but shoe still works fine.

Flattery will get you somewhere -
These shoes make my wide "Flintstone" feet look chic! I love them. But, the soles feel thin beneath the balls of my feet & I would recommend getting a cushioned insert if you are going to do very much walking in them.

Ordered this is 6WW -- my foot barely fit! It's much narrower than what I would have thought a WW size would be. Other than that, it does look comfy and cute.

Favorite espadrille -
I cannot say enough about this shoe. I am an espadrille "nut" and love the fact that I don't have to deal with winding straps around my ankle which inevitably disengage themselves. It's comfortable enough to wear all day... and compliments most outfits. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to other "nuts".

Soft and as comfortable as a slipper!
These are the most comfortable linen shoes I've ever worn. First time wearing them they felt as comfortable as slippers. They have smart up-to-the-minute style, have nice support, and are very flattering to the foot. What a great summer shoe - I love them.

Very comfy shoe for walking around in - no issues w/pinching, pulling, rubbing - just loved the stretch bands on the top & the stylish "V" design. If you don't want to be stressing with high heels, put these on for all day wearability. Love the beautiful navy blue color & soft material. I even took a walk at lunch in these shoes as opposed to putting on tennis shoes and no problems what so ever! Love them!

The front part of the shoe is a little big but not enough to make it look funny. They seem to be comfortable although I haven’t really worn them for any length of time.

 |  | Thank you Zappos and team! I waited til the last minute to order my shoes that I needed for a wedding in less than a week. I do a lot of online shopping, so no doubt I would be ordering my shoes online. I didn't see anything I wanted the first time I went to Zappos. So, I checked different sites, saw a couple of shoes that I liked, but I needed my shoes in a matter of days. Other sites had express shipping, but it was wayyyy too expensive. So, something told me to try Zappos again to see if they had anything I liked, plus they always have free shipping and just about every time I have ordered, they have upgraded my shipping to overnight, FOR FREE! So I filtered out the different shoes, and wow, I found the Promiscuous Beautiful shoe (for shoes are dear to my heart). I went ahead and ordered, and of course, they upgraded me to next day for free. WOW! That's not the kicker though. I received my shoes, and they fit, but, they just fit. Personally, I don't like my heel to touch the back, I like to have a little room in the back. I called on Saturday, told the guy I needed my shoes by that Thursday. Don’t you know he said Zappos takes a leap of faith and exchanges without having the first shoe back. I was so impressed. So, my shoes will be here today and I am so grateful for these shoes, and Beautiful has the 4 inches I love and are no doubt, comfortable. Thanks Zappos.com.
