Purchased the grey pair of these shoes and wore them immediately around the office upon receipt. Can we say COMFORTABLE! These are the most comfortable shoes I\'ve purchased all year, and they are so ridiculously CUTE! Downside though, by the end of the day, the "paint," as literally, that\'s what it seemed like, started crackling off the shoe. I\'m not sure if this was to be a feature of the shoe, hence the title "crinkle," but I was so so disappointed and had to return the shoes. Seems they coated it with some kind of substance to give it a patent look, and that\'s what started literally peeling and cracking off. So, I\'m about to try the black pair in hopes that it\'s a true patent and not a painted on version of the grey pair I just returned. Wish me luck.

Meanwhile, I want to compliment your company and your telephone staff. Whenever I have called Zappos I do not feel zapped or trained at the end of the conversation as with some other companies. Your telephone specialists are very knowledgeable and equally courteous to me.
