Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support
The Chaco Canyonland is a very comfortable, lightweight hiker, even when summer temps are 95F – with humidity so bad you drink the air in. Wish I had a dozen, so when they change the shoe in the future, I'd have reserves of the one I like.

Great shoe for moderate hikers, though I can't speak for longer hikes because we generally only hike 2.5-3.5 miles 3-4 times a week. If I have any complaint it's that the laces are too thin. May just be me, but they hurt my hands as I draw them tight to tie them. Thicker would have been better for me.

 |  | Sadly I've come to expect little or no customer service these days, but I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied with your product and service. I ordered my son a pair of shoes at approximately 10:00pm and was shocked to find the package sitting on my door step the following day.
