I love these shoes and have received many compliments on them. I'm a teacher, and they are super comfortable as well as cute. I'm only giving them 3 stars though, because I had to return my original pair: the elastic holding the buckle started to wear and perish after only 4 months! I have experienced this with other Dankso shoes but only after over a year and only when I don't undo the buckles and just slip my foot in (bad habit!). But I always unbuckled these shoes to take them off. In the end, though, my disappointment was ameliorated by Zappos' wonderful customer service - they took care of everything.

I first got the brown Sally in 35 several months ago (for dress shoes, I wear 5.5, tennis shoes in 6). Initially, I was really worried about the fit because while I love the maryjane look, for some reason my toes were hitting the front of the shoes when I walked. I decided to keep them and haven’t regretted it - now that they are broken in, they are pretty comfortable and I wear them with dress pants, skirts, jeans, even capris (though I might be laughed at for that ). Last week I bought the black Sally in 35, and cordovan Sally in 36, just to compare which would fit better. The 35 felt so snug right away, and the 36 felt good and I was so close to returning the 35. However, I kept them and tried both pairs around the house at various times during the day. I felt that the 36 became too roomy in the toe box, and I didn’t like to have so much toe movement, even though the strap anchored my foot. So if they started feeling loose after 1 week, they would probably feel like flip flops when they break in later. So after much self debate, I decided to keep the black 35. I’m confident it will stretch slightly like my brown 35. Even though Dansko starts out stiff, they do break in later as they mold to your feet. This is probably my favorite Dansko style - it is ALMOST as comfortable as the Professional style, but I love it that it’s dressier. I also own the Sonja, and Mia (discontinued) and am convinced that I must wear Dansko to preserve my feet since my job requires a lot of walking/standing. I’ve tried Naturalizer, Sofft, even Clarks, but they are nowhere as comfortable as Danskos. Pretty soon all I will have in my closet are Danskos. By the way, I like this style so much I just ordered it in Cordovan and Suede Red (size 35 of course).

These shoes are extremely comfortable and lighter than most other Danskos. They are probably my most comfy pair (these are my fourth) yet. I did have to order up to a 38, even though I'm a 37 in my other Danskos. So take the advice of those of us who had to make a return: when in doubt, order the size up! But they were worth the wait, and I love to wear them with just about any look. Right now, though, I am waiting for snow to melt here to put them on again!

So, I have been trying to find some nice shoes comfortable and cute and inexpensive. I found nothing, so I caved in and did what my sister has been doing for years (get Danskos) not cheap, but worth it! I got the 37, because i am a small size 7. Most shoes are big on me, so I was surprised when these shoes were way too small. I was worried the next size up would be too big! Thankfully they were the perfect size! I called for an exchange on a late Sunday evening, and I had the nicest customer service lady, I have ever had in my life! I love my shoes, I can wear them anywhere with anything!

I love these shoes, but I had to take them to a shoe shop and get them stretched because they were just too tight across the widest part of my right foot. I've worn them so much that the stitching is coming out on the side. I need to take them back and see if they can stitch that up for me. It's hard for me to find a shoe I can be comfortable in, standing much during the day. Most shoes make my plantar fasciitis flare up, but Dansksos are very good for me.

I want to love these shoes, because I love Danskos, but they are just too tight across the big toe joint. I almost feel like the widest part of my foot doesn't fit on the footbed of the shoe. I'm so disappointed because I really want a stylish and very comfortable brown shoe to wear with skirts or dresses. Why is this so hard to find? I'm afraid to keep these shoes and stretch them because at this price, I'll be very disappointed if it doesn't work.

I can stand on my feet for 6+ hours straight in surgery in these shoes, and although I\'m tired, my feet don\'t hurt one bit. In other shoes, I walk out the OR limping, literally. The adjustable buckle and light weight allow for sturdiness as I run around work, up and down stairs with speed. \r\nIt\'s like walking on air, and stylishly with the endless compliments I receive on them. Definitely recommend and worth every penny.

As a medical resident with touchy hips and knees that would ache at the end of the day (or worse at the end of a call) if I wore traditional dress shoes (or even sneakers), I live in my Dansko professional clogs. Not the most stylish, and not particularly conducive to wearing skirts or dresses. I chose these Sallys because they maintain the arch support and solid rubber sole of the professionals, but were more stylish than my beat-up clogs (also more stylish than even some of the other Dankso mary jane-style options out there). I love my Sallys and have put them into active rotation for work. They run slightly smaller than the professionals (I bought both styles in size 37; I wear my clogs with either heavy wool socks or two pairs cotton, the Sallys fit well with stockings or a pair of thin socks). They also maintain the free heel movement of the clogs despite having the ankle strap; doesn't bother me, but did take a minute to get used to on the first wearing.

If you are used to wearing Dansko clogs, be aware that these have a different feel to them. They are great shoes, but don't have the extreme comfort level of the clogs. I did blister up a bit on the top of my foot for the first few wears. I would still recommend them, though!

I bought these in brown and black. They are very comfortable and stylish with pants or skirts. I have problems with bunions and plantar fasciitis and these shoes are very "feet friendly." I can survive all day in these shoes and my feet feel great at the end of the day.

These shoes are very comfortable. They don't make my feet tired. I can wear them all day. I always wear them with pants because it's cold up here, but I am sure they will look good if you wear them with dresses. By the way, the customer service agent, who helped me, was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. I had a choice of buying from another online store based in Mukilteo, but I chose Zappos because I was not going to be charged the almighty tax!

I thought I would love these as much as my other Dansko shoes, but I was disappointed in the arch support. They are the rubber sole type instead of the hard kind that the other clogs are made of.

I love these shoes. They have the fit and comfort of Danskos, but with a more stylish look. They look okay with a skirt. Great if you are on your feet all day. Lots of cushioning. I have these in several colors.

Okay, bought my first pair of Danskos maybe 6-7 years ago after foot surgery and still wear them today (I also have a "falling arch" so I need arch support and firm shoes!). I used to twist my ankle frequently in these in the beginning which freaked me out, but now its only occasional. I think I may be in between sizes also wear 38s but probably need 37.5. Wanted to expand my Dansko Collection so I thought, a mary janes style would be cute and more versatile with dresses, a colleague at work has these in 2 colors and she seemed to like them. Me, not so much. Not the same platform as the clogs. Runs small so my toes must touch the end, so they are achy at the end of the day. And they will not stop squeaking! One day it's the right shoe then it's the left shoe. Drives me nuts! Also there is extra foot sweating action going on so I loosened the strap so the foot can breathe more. My feet do not feel Zen as it does at the end of the day of wearing the clogs. What's the point of wearing these silly looking shoes if I am not going to have non-achy feet at the end of the day? Just ordered some Marcelle's and regular clogs by Saritas instead of Dansko. Read here that they are the original Danskos makers, which I think my original clogs are. Will write a review on those when I get them!

I've got skinny feet and high arches. The size 41 (my usual size) has adequate room in the toe box: no squishing! The shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I'll be wearing them with everything this season. Don't wait; buy this shoe!

Tpical greatness from Dansko! I wasn't sure if I would like this new heel/footbed, but it's nice. The shiny black is fabulous. These run small, and as with another recent Dansko purchase (Sissy...red...love!), I had to go up a size to a 39 instead of my usual 38 in Dansko and most other European shoes. Perfect comfortable mary jane, slip-on for casual wear. Can't go wrong with these. And Zappos customer service is the best!

Love this shoe! We live in a mild climate so with some Smartwool socks I can even wear it in the winter! I normally wear a 7, but ordered a whole size up (38) and it fits great. Cute little round toe and slimmer heel than the traditional Dansko.

It's cute and almost perfect. I love heel height and style of cut. Perfect for work place like a restaurant. But after 2 hours or more of wearing, my right side of toe gets to hurting me. Maybe I need more used to it.

I have been a fan of Dansko shoes since I injured my knee. I find them to be high quality, supportive, appropriate for work, and comfortable. The Sally is no exception to my previous experiences. These are cute with skirts or pants, which is why I wanted them. Zappos pricing and free shipping only made them more attractive to me. They are worth the money you spend on them because they will last. I also love that while they look like they would be a heavier shoe, they are surprisingly light and do not weigh my legs down.

Great shoes. Very comfortable and great support. I agree with the other reviewers who said it runs small. I typically wear a 7.5 shoe and order a 37 in Dansko (38 in some of the more "closed" shoes). But I needed a 39 in this shoe -- still fits with bare feet, but I can also wear a light sock.
