Okay, bought my first pair of Danskos maybe 6-7 years ago after foot surgery and still wear them today (I also have a "falling arch" so I need arch support and firm shoes!). I used to twist my ankle frequently in these in the beginning which freaked me out, but now its only occasional. I think I may be in between sizes also wear 38s but probably need 37.5. Wanted to expand my Dansko Collection so I thought, a mary janes style would be cute and more versatile with dresses, a colleague at work has these in 2 colors and she seemed to like them. Me, not so much. Not the same platform as the clogs. Runs small so my toes must touch the end, so they are achy at the end of the day. And they will not stop squeaking! One day it's the right shoe then it's the left shoe. Drives me nuts! Also there is extra foot sweating action going on so I loosened the strap so the foot can breathe more. My feet do not feel Zen as it does at the end of the day of wearing the clogs. What's the point of wearing these silly looking shoes if I am not going to have non-achy feet at the end of the day? Just ordered some Marcelle's and regular clogs by Saritas instead of Dansko. Read here that they are the original Danskos makers, which I think my original clogs are. Will write a review on those when I get them!

I've got skinny feet and high arches. The size 41 (my usual size) has adequate room in the toe box: no squishing! The shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I'll be wearing them with everything this season. Don't wait; buy this shoe!

I'm on my feet all day and these are not as comfortable as I expected. By the end of the day my feet are sore on the bottom. It could use more padding.

Tpical greatness from Dansko! I wasn't sure if I would like this new heel/footbed, but it's nice. The shiny black is fabulous. These run small, and as with another recent Dansko purchase (Sissy...red...love!), I had to go up a size to a 39 instead of my usual 38 in Dansko and most other European shoes. Perfect comfortable mary jane, slip-on for casual wear. Can't go wrong with these. And Zappos customer service is the best!

Love this shoe! We live in a mild climate so with some Smartwool socks I can even wear it in the winter! I normally wear a 7, but ordered a whole size up (38) and it fits great. Cute little round toe and slimmer heel than the traditional Dansko.

It's cute and almost perfect. I love heel height and style of cut. Perfect for work place like a restaurant. But after 2 hours or more of wearing, my right side of toe gets to hurting me. Maybe I need more used to it.

I have been a fan of Dansko shoes since I injured my knee. I find them to be high quality, supportive, appropriate for work, and comfortable. The Sally is no exception to my previous experiences. These are cute with skirts or pants, which is why I wanted them. Zappos pricing and free shipping only made them more attractive to me. They are worth the money you spend on them because they will last. I also love that while they look like they would be a heavier shoe, they are surprisingly light and do not weigh my legs down.

Love these very comfortable shoes. I wear them with tights. I walk all over with them and they don't hurt. I'm a Dansko fan, and these are one of the best pairs I've owned.

Great shoes. Very comfortable and great support. I agree with the other reviewers who said it runs small. I typically wear a 7.5 shoe and order a 37 in Dansko (38 in some of the more "closed" shoes). But I needed a 39 in this shoe -- still fits with bare feet, but I can also wear a light sock.

Love these shoes! Not necessarily my everyday shoe but if I am going out somewhere and want to dress up an outfit, I put on the Sally. I get so many compliments on them everytime I wear them!

Wow, all those gold stars, and I can't even put these on my feet without pain. I have tried to like them. I love the way they look. I wear nothing but Danskos! But here are the problems: They are too tight across the instep. The toe box is narrow in the extreme, compared to Professionals and does not accommodate a problem with a large toe joint. There is pressure on the metatarsal which does not happen with clogs. Even with the ankle strap, the shoe does not provide the "rolling" affect that Danskos are known for, the rolling that distributes the weight of your body evenly over your foot. This is why those of us with feet problems swear by them. So I think they will be going on Ebay because I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them stretched and it still didn't help. I have to say, I LOVE my Maes in Red. Very cute Mary Jane style and feel like walking on pillows. If I could give them less than 1 star for comfort, I would.

I purchased these shoes because I needed a comfortable pair of black shoes for a volunteer job in which I am on my feet for several hours at a time. They are very comfortable and fit the purpose in which I purchased them for.

I am very pleased with the Dansko Sally. I appreciate the softer feel and cushioning of this style and its light weight. \r\nI have been wearing it to work most days as a teacher.\r\nI have one extremely sensitive foot with recurring plantar fasciitis in addition to some arthritis. I find the light weight supportive and the somewhat flexible insole make this shoe very comfortable. The adjustable straps add comfort options.\r\n

It\'s like magic... I live in Oregon, about 45 minutes from the Pacific Ocean...I ordered these Danskos at 12:58 pm PST yesterday & received them at 12:50 pm PST today...less then 24 hours and they are here!!! \r\n\r\nThe shoes are beautiful, just as I expected!\r\nI heard they ran small and I have a slightly wide foot, I wear a 9-9.5 and have always ordered a 40. I tried on a 41 in a local shoe store and they felt huge. The felt way too wide and my heals slipped up and down like they do in the Professionals, they aren\'t supposed to do that in the Sally…. The store offered to order a 40, it would have taken 2 weeks to get them here. I thought I should give Zappos.com a shot, same price with free shipping. I am impressed, with the shoe, the fit and the service. I love it! Thanks Zappos.com for saving the day!\r\n

I am a big fan of Danskos, but I was a little disappointed with these. I am usually an 8.5, but I found that I was in between sizes. The 39 was too tight and the 40 was way too large. The footbed was very comfortable and had great arch support, but the leather was stiff where it cuts across the top of the foot. I think it would need a break-in period. In real life the toebox of the shoe curves up a little more than it looks in the picture, and made me look like I was wearing elf shoes. Why can't Dansko round them off a bit? Despite the elf-effect, I'd say they're still worth a try. They just didn't fit me.

These are really cute shoes and so comfortable- definitely recommend trying a size up- I usually wear 36 in Dansko and there is room to spare, but in these, my toes were right at the end in 36, and the 37 fit perfectly.

This shoe runs a little smaller than other Danskos. But it is definitely a little dressier than most, and the shoes are very comfortable. Great for walking around NYC!

I recently had back problems and heard that these were good shoes for bad feet and backs. I have worn them almost every day since I got them! No feet problems and the arch support is great for my back. They look cute with skirts and capris. Much more stylish than the clogs. The best part was Zappos, I ordered them late Friday night and they were on my doorstep by 9:00 am Monday.

I love this shoe! It is very cute and stylish as well as versatile. It looks great with a skirt or dress; I think it is less clunky that other Danskos. I am on my feet all day at work and this shoe was very comfortable.

Fantastic, sexy and practical. I have lots of different Danskos. This one is very flirty, goes with jeans or dresses and is flattering. It did take a day or two to get used to it (I have huge bunions, believe me I have to be careful). I get lots of compliments and find it very versatile. Have it in black and am going to get brown now!

Love these shoes. The first day was a bit hairy breaking them in, but that was it, from then on out it has been smooth sailing. I had originally ordered a darker brown, which was a beautiful color, but a difficult one to match so I ended up with this more neutral brown. They look great with capris, I also stand all day at work and they are quite comfortable. Love the easy returns process with Zappos, but I would have like the money a little sooner. Other than that quite pleased.
