Would have been nice. Too bad boot manufacturers haven't figured out that when you have a double wide foot you probably have a double wide leg to go with it. This is an attractive boot and for the nanosecond I had it on, I think it would be comfortable. Too bad there's no earthly way the zipper was ever going to go up. Looks like it's another winter of no boot purchases for me!

Propet Oslo - I normally wear a 7M, but ordered these in a 7W to wear with thicker socks. They were still too small and I had to return them. They appear to run at least 1/2 size too small in length and width. The top part of the boot was a little stiff and rubbed my leg. The footbed seemed comfortable and the shoe might have worked in a larger size. I gave these 4 stars only because they rubbed my leg. These are nice looking boots, but I recommend ordering a larger size and width for comfort.

Loved this boot when I bought it last January. So comfortable and warm. I did a lot of walking in wintry weather (Northeast, Switzerland). My feet were always dry & warm. Then at the end of March, when I was putting away my boots for the winter, I notice a huge crack had opened up in the sole. Unrepairable as the sole is a hollow rubber. So disappointing, and I will never buy from the manufacturer again. Such a shame!

Great style and comfort-fits orthotic!!!
I absolutely love these boots. After getting orthotics, I have had a difficult time finding stylish shoes that fit. (I have probably ordered and returned 20 pair of shoes to Zappos!!) Finally, I found these! I also bought a pair of sandals from Propet that fit my orthotics! Thank you Zappos!
PS: These have also worn well in the snow and rain.

I usually wear an 8, but there was only an 8 1/2 available in the color I wanted, and it fit perfect. I'm very happy with them.

Looks good, but…
I was disappointed in the fit of this boot. They are cut a little small; I had to go to a larger than my usual size. Although a 2X width, it is tight across the instep, making the zipper very difficult to close. Also, the shank is stiff and unyielding around the ankle so that my leg rubs against it as I walk and creates a scraped spot, despite the shearling collar. I would not buy this brand of boots again.

warm and comfortable boots -
These boots look great, and make my large feet look smaller than they are. They are plenty wide enough and roomy enough to wear 2 pairs of socks, although they are warm enough to get by with only one pair of socks. The tops of the boots irritated my ankles for the first 2 days, but now they're fine. I worry about the zippers lasting as long as the rest of the boots.

Excellent boots -
I am very happy with this boots. They fit well, are quite warm and comfortable. I normally wear an 8 Wide. These are big enough and can wear medium thick to thick socks as well. The service was excellent as well.

Just right!!
I used these shoes on a recent trip to Chicago - being from Florida I don't get to wear boots like this much. I got them in the brown and they were dark enough to go with brown or black. I also had to order the wider width since they were out of 9M. They were a little wide for me but worked out fine since I had heavy socks on. They were really warm and comfortable and pretty much all I wore all weekend. Too bad I can't wear them here - it's just about flip flop weather again. Great purchase for the price!

Warm Comfy Shoe -
I ordered this one after trying on about 5 different boots for winter weather. The day after I got them a major snowstorm hit and I was able to try them out in rough conditions - I walk my kids 2 miles to school each day and back - 4 miles total. They were warm and comfortable, although I did go 1/2 size up as suggested by other reviewers. I had plenty of room in the toes, and my feet are duck feet shaped, wide at the toes and narrow at the heel. The heel was wider than I would have liked and slipped a bit, but that usually happens in order to accommodate my wide toes. I use orthotics and had no trouble slipping into these with orthotics in place. I am average size in my feet and ankles. I give them a 4 in comfort and look because of the slipping problem, and while they are fine, they are not "stylish" and you wouldn't wear them on days you didn't need to for the weather. My feet stayed warm and dry the entire time.

Great all around winter boot -
Zappos service was "as usual" awesome!!! I got these overnight even though I didn't ask for it! And the boots fit true to size. Very warm, and felt like they gave me great footing on the ice and snow. My orthotics fit easily in them. Wore them all day at work, and they were very comfortable and looked nice, got some compliments!

This shoe fits beautifully. It's so comfortable you hardly know it’s there. I ordered the D width and it was perfect. The only problem is that I ordered a white shoe to go with a white dress and this shoe is not white--it's more like a very light bone color.

Good light boot but no arch support -
I purchased the boot in the Brownie/Black color, size 11 Medium. I am very pleased with the look of the boot - the brown color is lovely and rich. I think the shoe is true to size; however I have narrow feet so I definitely can feel the extra space (mostly around the arch/mid portion of the foot) and wish the shoe came in a narrow option. With respect to the length - it is perfect for my feet (which are either a 10.5 or an 11 depending on the brand) so I assume they'd be a little snug for anyone with true-sized 11 feet.
I bought the boots to wear to and from the office in the winter (I live in Massachusetts) to keep my feet warm & dry and my office shoes clean. Therefore I wear the boots with only hose. Even if the extra space of no-socks I find the boot extremely comfortable...except there is NO arch support (which is why I've given the shoe a 4 star rating instead of a 5). I plan on purchasing an insole and recommend anyone else that has normal-high arches to do the same when ordering this product. When I wear the boot with shoes it fits very well to my feet, except there is still extra room around mid-foot, but I think that is because I have narrow feet.
With respect to the quality of the shoe - I think it is top notch. It is warm without being "too warm" and the rubber sole & water proof lining is great for walking over snow and ice puddles. My favorite thing about the boot is that it doesn't feel heavy on my foot, or make my already gigantic feet appear bulky. Plus, there was no break in time required. The zipper is a great feature - my previous winter boots were a bother to put on and take off because of the laces - these boots on the other hand are a breeze, in the mornings as I hurry off to work I just step into them and zip up. My husband is jealous of the zipper and has asked me to try and find a similar pair for him!
I definitely recommend this shoe to anyone...as long as you are willing to buy insoles for added arch support.

These boots are perfect to wear back and forth to work. They keep my feet warm and dry and look very nice. I also wear them on the weekends to run errands. They are very easy to take on and off with the zipper down the front.

I love my boots -
These boots are wonderful. I was looking for a boot that would keep my feet dry, warm and have a non skid sole yet still be stylish. We had quite a bit of snow and I was tired of wet cold feet. I wish that they were taller so I could tuck my pants in. I would definitely recommend these boots for cold weather.

A good winter boot -
I bought these boots as a gift for my mother. I plan to exchange them because they are about a half-size too small for her. She likes them very much otherwise. It's great that they come in a variety of widths. I gave only four stars for comfort because to me they seem a little stiff inside. They're very nice-looking, and appear to have good traction. As always, Zappos customer service is the absolute best anywhere.

I walk to work every day; several miles round trip, and these boots are comfortable, warm, and pretty good with traction on the snow and ice. I don't even have to use my orthotics with these boots. I highly recommend them; attractive, practical boots at a fair price!
