These LifeStride mary janes are the perfect burgundy red, very comfortable and my husband said they were smart looking! Zappos has become my favorite place to shoe shop.

I ordered the 12W in red and was so excited to have a pair of cute red flats. The shoe seems to run short and was too tight in the toes and over the instep. With my feet squashed into the shoes, it looked like I was baking a loaf of bread with my feet puffing out the top. The uppers are made of a very stiff vinyl and the back of the shoes comes up high. I sent the shoes back. As always, Zappos customer service is excellent. If at first you don\'t succeed, buy shoes again.

I love my new red shoes! The size is perfect, which is great because I have to have narrow shoes. I just slipped them right on and felt like I'd had them forever! My 90-year old mother has 3 pairs of red shoes. It must run in the family!

I love these LifeStride shoes. They have been comfortable since the day I received them. I have a small foot and sometimes shoes don\'t fit well, so I try to stay with LifeStrides whenever possible.

With a narrow foot, I am always on the lookout for good-looking shoes, at a reasonable price, since these days most of the narrow widths are only available in expensive labels. These shoes are narrow enough, and cute in the bargain. They look fine with jeans and pants, and are the closest I have been able to come to a ballet flat that doesn't fall off my foot. A bit roomy, but the strap keeps them on. Comfortable, in the bargain.

This was a cute, casual shoe that fit well. I wear a 7N and have a hard time finding shoes that fit. I chose 3 different styles and picked another one that I liked better and was a little better quality. This one was comfortable and would look cute with pants and the price was right.

Comfortable for the most part but the sides/edges don't quite seem to come up far enough so they poke me in the foot when I'm walking. So, overall they don't feel as supportive side to side. But on the bright side, no pinching at the toes. Does occasionally grab at the back ankle. Feel better with thicker socks.

These are great. I got the wide width because that's all that was left and my feet are a bit wide anyway. They have stretched out to be a bit large but are stil comfy. Not as supportive as I would have guessed from the other reviews here, but I wear orthodics anyway and those fit pretty well with these shoes. Look cute with skirts, dress pants, or jeans! I'm a bit concerned about how long the strap is going to hold on, since it's attached by just one thick elastic band, but we'll see!

I am so hard on my shoes that I'm not sure any review from me would be fair. However, the best feature of these shoes is their style - they look great on my feet. After the initial heel rubbing (which didn't last long by the way), they are exceptionally comfortable. The only problem, as I said, is that I am hard on shoes so I don't expect these to last long. I wear them all the time!

I purchased these shoes for my daughter. They run true to size and look great. She said they were very comfortable. She has to wear them every day to school and we are in the third week of school; they seem to be holding up well.

I like it -
Cute shoe and comfortable, but not as much as others made it out to be. I thought there'd be more cushion/support based on the reviews. I rated the arch support as moderate. To clarify, the footbed itself doesn't have arch support, but the way the shoe is designed, it creates decent support for your instep (in the way that the shoe hugs and molds to your foot). It's true to size, but definitely narrower than a normal Med width (at least on the size 11). It's really too bad - I was so looking forward to getting this shoe, but had to return. Thanks Zappos for your wonderful return policy!

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned! They look great and have superb traction. The only bad part is that both buttons have popped off and I’ve had to replace them. Overall though, perfect shoes.

A great alternative to "big ole bulky workout shoes" -
I don't particularly like wearing athletic shoes except for exercise and this shoe fits the bill. Looks great with jeans and leisure clothes. They are stylish and comfortable. I'm thinking of buying a brown pair.

Cute shoe for leisure days in jeans. I wear a 6 1/2 or 7 W, 6 1/2 was best in these. The fit is OK, but not as comfortable and padded as some other LifeStride shoes. Still, they work well for me.

Cute Shoes!
I have very wide feet, so I love Zappos - I can get shoes that are actually kind of stylish yet comfortable. These shoes are really quite cute and go with dresses or pants. They are generally very comfortable. My only complaint is that they are pretty thin soles, so after standing for a long time the soles of my feet hurt a bit - particularly the balls of my feet. Also, when I wore them without socks they gave me a blister in my heel. No problems when worn with socks.

First time is a charm!
I have heard a lot about Zappos but was slow to try your shoes. My feet are extremely wide and I have difficulty finding shoes to fit the width and that will accommodate my orthotics. This style pleased me very much. The shoes are very comfortable and much more stylish than my cross-trainers which I have been wearing for almost all occasions! Thank you for offering the free shipping option for returns. That option was what gave me the confidence to try your company. And guess what? I didn't need to send the shoes back! I'm very pleased.

I ordered this shoe in the red color. I'm a black shoe person and hardly, if ever, purchase shoes that are not in a dark color, but the red color is more like a smoky red… it's great. In comfort this shoe does not provide much arch support, but is comfortable enough to wear all day, but maybe not to walk long distances in.

These shoes are great on the arches and are suitable for standing in or walking in for a long time. Only issue is that it rubs the outer toes a bit, so a sockette might be a good addition if your toes are sensitive.

When I bought these shoes, I was afraid on how they would fit, but to my surprise, they are real nice. I read about how to size them and I'm a D width, but I ordered an E width. They are not tight, but I notice that they are true to width. The only disappointment I have is the arch support, I have a high arch and need a little more arch in the shoe, but overall the shoe is very nice and I got a lot of compliments when I wear them.

Great for Wide Feet -
Ordered these after struggling to find a casual brown shoe in a 10W. This shoe is great and has good arch support for the price. I found it to be true to size and width, though it is not a shoe to wear with a thick sock. I am a teacher and wore it for 8 hours on my feet yesterday and was still feeling good at the end of the day. Overall, a great shoe for the price!

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
