LIKE THE SHOES -
I usually like a bigger shoe, but this one is an exception to the rule. Felt great right out of the box. No break-in period. I am a student that just wanted cool looking shoes to walk around in. These shoes serve the purpose. They look great and feel good, too.

Nice shoe - not a motion control shoe -
This is a great looking shoe, but not for pronators. Not sure why it is in this category. I am extremely flat footed and there is not much arch support. I find my foot twisting in with every step. Very uncomfortable after a long walk.

Comfortable, but falls apart -
I recently purchased the North Face Mens Betasso. I have worn the shoes for about a month and a half and the sole of the shoe is falling apart. There is an oval looking piece on the bottom of the shoe that is under the heel that is falling off on both shoes. I work as a backpacking guide in New Mexico so I need shoes that will hold up. These are comfortable for shorter less rugged hikes, but going over rocky terrain/long distances (15 miles+) in a day they can become uncomfortable. Most of all though, they just don't last.

Good comfortable shoe -
Good shoe, exactly what I was looking for (non-leather, good support and control). I use orthotics with these, so the slightly snug fit I'm experiencing is likely from that (so I'm marking "felt true to size").

Great Hiking Shoe -
This shoe is very comfortable and offers a lot of support and great grip for hiking.

Hurts in the Arch -
It was uncomfortable to just walk around in. I imagine running in them would be very uncomfortable.

 | | The product was as advertised and of high quality, but what impressed me the most was the customer service. I order one day with regular shipping and these shoes were delivered the following morning at no additional charge to me. Customer service like this does not exist today, except at Zappos. | | ~ Tuck , August 20 2008
