Ordered a half size larger based on others\' feedback and they\'re right, the way the top of the toe tapers at the top makes the show uncomfortable. I don\'t like the elf look of the way it turns up at the toe either. Disappointing because otherwise it\'s just what I needd.

Very versatile. Stylish but simple. You can dress them up or dress them down. Go well with slacks or with a skirt. I also like them because I can fit my insoles into them. The only warning: I only find them comfortable with socks, not without.

OK casual -
This is an OK casual shoe. The shoe is a bit tight at the toes. Because the height is a bit narrow at the toe, I needed to order 1/2 size longer.

I bought these shoes at the end of August and loved them from the minute I had them. The fit was great; the look was great, very comfortable, and LIGHT. I loved them until they fell apart about two months later while walking through a field of tall grass. More like, ripped apart across the top of the shoe at the nylon part. Seriously I was just walking across the field and the shoe caught a piece of grass and ripped. SO, lesson learned. Do not wear them anywhere outside of a city.

A lil small -
These shoes looked good, but were a little small. I ended up returning them because of it. I would order them a half size larger than your usual size, or a full size larger if you plan on wearing them with socks (other than trouser socks). They seemed true to width.

No toe room -
The shoe is quite comfy other than the room for the toes. It flattens out at the toe. Therefore, there is constant pressure on the big toe. By the end of a long day, there is some discomfort. I originally thought they may stretch, but now I doubt it.

They are good looking casual loafers. The leather is just perfect - not too thin, not too thick & I think they will hold up well as I am hard on shoes. As I said, they are sassy, snappy and easy to wear with casual jeans to dress pants.

Love the shoe -
I have a very wide foot and the Trotter's seem to be a good shoe for someone with a wide foot. I was able to wear them all day and not die of foot pain.

Almost comfortable -
The shoe is comfortable, although the toe area is a little to hard. It seems to press in on my toes, but I think they will get better with wear.

Perfect knock around shoe - As usual the shoes I order from Zappos are great! I was pleased with everything about the Trotters Jane, put them on immediately and went to work.

Great walking shoe. I went to San Francisco for 10 days and wore my new Trotters. I must have walked 15 miles. Up and down hills on and off trollys and cable cars not to mention buses and out to dinner. They have great support and are very comfortable. No break in time was needed. I could have left my old shoes home.

These are the cutest and most comfortable shoes my 2 year has ever worn. However, I was very disappointed that the flowers fell off of them after only wearing them 5 times. Zappos was great and sent me another pair, but the flowers fell off of them after only wearing them 2 times. Great style, great comfort, made poorly.

No arch support and no room for orthotics. The insole was not smooth in the left shoe - it was bunched up near the toe, glued in so there was no way to fix it. I'm sure this is just a quality control issue with this pair. I found it true to width, but I think it runs a bit short in length. I found the heels very stiff and uncomfortable.

Loving these shoes - These Trotters are so nice. I am a person who can not walk in a heel if it would save my life. These arrived yesterday and they are so comfortable. I walked around all day and they feel and look great. They are true to size and I have a big wide foot. I purchased the black leather, but I think I will get the brown leather as well. Great shoe, you will not be disappointed.
