I was really unhappy with the boots. They didn't stay up, one side around the knee was tighter than the other and they weren't comfortable, but what didn't work out for me worked out good for my sister so I gave them to her.

These boots appear great at first, but unfortunately they do not stay up above the knee. They tend to slouch down, as there is plenty of room in the calf area. They look nice on, over jeans or with a wintry dress, but as you walk around, the boots slouch down below the knee. I like the idea of a comfy boot that goes over the knee - sexy, yet warm, but I just wish they were a little snugger around the leg.

These boots are cute and cheap. If you have real skinny legs, these boots are not for you. They will fall down. They fit right exactly above the knee. There is enough space to wear them in the winter with thick socks. They are great boots. I've always been a fan of Steve Madden.

Love these boots! They are so comfortable and I get compliments every time I wear them. I wear them with skinny jeans haven't found any skirts or dresses that they look good with yet. They are true to size; no need to order a half size up or down. One thing about these boots is the more you wear them the more slouchy they become. At first I didn't like that, but I don't mind it at all. Overall, I would buy these boots again in a heartbeat. And once again, thank you Zappos for the amazing shipping!

Love these boots great for this fall fashion all my friends say their so cute..Had to get 1/2 size bigger cuz ,like most of us my right foot is just a little bigger and my 61/2 was just to snug Would deffintely reccomend them

These boots are really cute! The height is perfect and it can be worn pulled up or slouchy. The only thing people might not like is that they are baggy and you’ll have to tighten the elastic on the buttons on the back to get them to stay up. They are a great alternative for those apprehensive to wearing really tall boots, which can look a bit silly. I’ve seen girls with tall black boots and they can look a little silly on a short person. If you are really skinny or short, these probably aren’t the boots for you. Tall and average sized women could rock these.

These boots were really disappointing. They appeared to be fairly snug around the leg and I hoped they would stay above the knee. Not only do they they really slouch, they also balloon pretty unattractively around the ankle. The material is OK, but the sole seems pretty unforgiving and uncomfortable. Returning these, sadly!

Not what I expected -
I bought these boots thinking they went over the knee and on the thigh. This is because it was listed as a boot that is "thigh high". Unfortunately, it only goes up to my knees, and does slide down slightly. It is also tight at the very top by my knee and the only thing that would possibly look nice would be tights or spandex. Skinny jeans MAYBE if they are (and stay) skin tight throughout the day. My favorite part of the boot is the back. I have not decided whether I will return them or not.

I purchased these boots in grey. I feel they run true to size in length and a little narrow in width. If I keep them I'm hoping they stretch out in the width. I have the same problem as the previous reviewer in that the boots do not stay above my knees either. I think if you tighten the strings between the buttons in the back they will stay up. Also the grey color of these boots is more of a brown grey than a blue grey.

These are cute boots, but they do not stay up! If you are looking for "over the knee" boots these are probably not what you want. I cannot get them to stay up! They stay over the knee for about a minute, and then once you walk around in them, they start to slide down below the knee and get that "slouchy" look. If anyone figures out how to get them to stay up please let me know!

Love this boot for the price. I also think it runs large. I wear a ten and took a 9 1/2. I have a narrow foot so that may figure into the equation. You could put an arch support in or an insole for comfort. I believe this boot is going to stretch so I think buying a half size down is a good idea unless you're foot is wide. If wide, then buy your true size. Enjoy!

This boot ran large, I usually wear a 9.5; definitely would need a 9. But the sad thing is you cannot roll the top down at all because they place a label right in the front of the top of the boot. Very silly. Boot not that comfortable, no cushioning at all. Sad, really liked the way they looked online.

These boots are great. I love that they go over the knee and while they have a very slight heel for a bit of height, they are very comfortable and I foresee walking around in them a lot. I can't wait for the weather to get colder so I can wear them out. They are accurate in size compared with most other shoes.

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
