This boot needs more explanation as to its look. It needs to be tied tightly around the knee to stay up if not it hangs around ankle. If you like a different style then most this is it. No padding.

I bought this boot because I thought it had a great look, and the tread sole would be great for wet weather. I wore them once, for a total of 4 hours. The boot was not nearly as comfortable as my Söfft or Easy Spirit boots, and my feet felt tired even in the short distances that I walked. Unfortunately, when I took them off, I noticed that the seam between the elastic gore sides and the leather was ripped open on one of the boots. This was right beneath the buckle, so it wouldn't have been noticeable (and is still unnoticeable) unless you put the boot on and leave it unstrapped. Since there is no zipper on the boot, you have to PULL on the elastic and leather in order to get the boot on and off. This is obviously no longer an option, unless I want the hole in the seam to get bigger, or to create new holes in the boots. I love Zappos’ customer service. Wish I could say the same about their craftsmanship. Not a wise purchase.

Everyone notices them.
Everyone says something about my boots when I wear them. I got them in red and they're incredibly flashy, but not too raunchy like most over-the-knee boots with heels. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get them to stay up. I tie the ribbon pretty tightly around the top to keep them above my knees and they always start falling after awhile. I also gave them a 4 on comfort because they have no arch support and I spend a lot of time on my feet.

Great boots -
I have had soooo many compliments on these boots! They are very cute-although wish they were real suede-but they are very cute sexy and comfy too...I have the chocolate brown-great for work or going out!!

My boot -
It's not what I thought it would be. I was looking for a boot to stay above the knee, but it always buckles around the ankle. I was not pleased with this boot.

I received the bag this morning at 9am!!! On top of all the excellent customer service and fast shipping, the bag is a treasure! The same purse is selling for much more at the mall.
