I love these shoes. Very deep so I can wear my orthotics with no problems. The sole is very firm, so no problem with the shoe rolling over to one side or the other. My only complaint is the vent holes weren't big enough to keep my feet cool on a really hot day, so I just took a large sewing needle and enlarged them a bit. No problem now! The velcro straps really make getting dressed in the morning easy!

I ordered these shoes for my husband who is a diabetic. He loves them. They were true to size (12 5E). They have more support than the previous shoes he had. He put them on as soon as they arrived and they were comfortable. Zappos service is excellent and we buy most of our shoes at Zappos.

Wide 5EEE. Hard to find a comfortable shoe in this size. Base of shoe is wide so my foot does not roll to one side like some brands that have a narrow base. Good design. Looks nice! Quality finish.

Way oversized, very bouncy.
I normally fit size 15 medium.
When I got them, they were floating on my feet. The 14's fit better, but still too wide. The rim of the shoe abrades my ankle on the outside. The insoles are too bouncy, though some people might like this. They absorb too much energy when I walk aggressively, feels like walking on sand.
On the plus side, they are beautifully made. I yanked the insole and installed my orthotics; they needed something under them to get them to feel snug. I think these shoes would be perfect for someone with tender, swollen feet; otherwise, they are just too much.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I miss the Brooks Addiction Hook and Loop. Timberland Hook & Loop is surprisingly comfortable and stylish.

Plenty room for sweat socks. I wear them 12 hours a day, no problem. Room for orthotics if required. I love this easy on/off shoe.

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
