I went by Zappos sizing chart and had to send the first pair back for a 1/2 size bigger. Just order what size you usually do - these are SO comfortable! And give your legs a good workout. Like walking barefoot without worrying about what you step on.

Immediately comfortable, can walk all day. I already owned a pair of Earth boots but wanted something sportier. Also wear Dansko clogs and Keens; both have good arch support, but not too much cushion. Always disappointed in Pumas; great look, zero arch support. These were comfortable right out of the box! Normally have foot/heel pain when I first get up, but my feet haven't been hurting since I've been wearing these! Perfect for my little (7.5), wide feet! Highly recommend if you suffer from plantar fasciitis!! As always, love Zappos great service and huge selection.

Love these. I will never buy a "conventional" pair of tennies again. These are super comfortable, true to fit, lightweight yet well made and look very fashionable. Recommend these shoes for anyone wanting the comfort of a tennis shoe, but style, style, style.

I bought these shoes for my mother who suffers from arthritis and has to walk a lot because she does not own a car. She loves these shoes. She told me her feet don't feel tired anymore and they are also easy on her bad knee. Because she liked them so much, I decided to get a pair of Earth shoes for myself and I'm also buying another pair for my dad who is on his feet all day at work.

The funky insole is unusual at first, but I quickly got used to it. The shoe size is accurate, but because of the insole being thicker around the ball/toe area, I had to wear relatively thin socks (or no socks). As a backup for longer walks, I bought some "normal" insoles from REI (or you can find them here on Zappos). I interchange them depending on my mood, and I absolutely love this sneaker! I have it in the Ash grey, and they were so comfortable from the get-go that it required no break in period, even with the funky insole.

I had previously owned Earth Racers. Thought they looked cool enough for a negative heel shoe, but never wore them for long due to their heavy feel, and too-tight shallow elastic vamps. Well, the Earth Premier is definitely a new generation of Earth shoes. So unbelievably lightweight, with buttery soft leather, they're comfy right out of the box. No break-in period. A clever way to get me to wear negative heel shoes all day long. I ordered a half size larger than I'd had in the Earth Racers, and they're perfect. Love the grey color. Well done, Earth.

My last pair of 'tennis shoes' was purchased about seven years ago so it was time to get another pair and when I saw the picture of these, I knew they were the ones! Something I read said they 'run small' so instead of an 8 I ordered and 8 1/2. It is too long, but I already wore them so will not return them. They do look a lot cuter in the picture than they do on my old feet! But so does everything else! The toe is built wide and there is no tightening the laces to make it smaller. I was after the now becoming famous "negative heel" and was glad to finally get shoes with that. I wore them to the casino and didn't get tired of walking at all, even though they didn't help my luck! I got the gray, called some kind of 'buff' (whatever happened to just staying basic with color names?).

These shoes were very comfortable! I own a pair of Earth sandals as well and I will continue to purchase from them. Before I purchased these shoes and the sandals, I could not walk for an hour before my feet and my lower back began to hurt. Now I can walk for hours on end before my back or my feet began to even feel slight pain. I would definitely recommend this brand.

I purchased these shoes because of foot pain behind my middle toes. They are absolutely great and my foot pain is almost gone. I ordered a half size larger to allow for socks. I reach for a pair of earth shoes every morning and even use the sandles as slippers at night. I plan on purchasing more earth shoes this fall.

I purchased these sneakers because I had already gotten 3 pair of Earth shoes and loved them. I recently started a walking program and wanted shoes that I knew would be comfortable. These have exceeded my expectations. In 1, 2 and 3 mile walks, I have had no problems with blisters or tenderness. They felt like "butter" from day one. And a bonus for me is that the negative heel assists me in pushing my daughter’s wheelchair. And they are cute as well!

I love these shoes! I was not sure what to expect when I ordered them and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were both comfortable and attractive. I typically have trouble with hip and knee pain when I don't wear shoes that have enough support. I usually have to put Superfeet in my shoes, but not with this pair. They are so comfortable to wear and they make my afternoon walks just a little bit more strenuous. They also help me to stand up straighter and I'm hoping that the claims about burning more calories are true. They are well made, cute and certainly worth the price. I would and will purchase another pair. Great shoes.

These shoes are not only very cool looking... they are also extremely comfortable. I can wear them all day and that's a good feeling! They look good not only with my exercise clothes but with skirts too. Originally I ordered 8.0 (I wear either a 7.5 or 8.0 shoe) but had second thoughts and called Zappos to ask if I could exchange. They immediately sent a pair of 7.5 to me the next day... which I appreciated. I ended up keeping the 8.0 and sent the 7.5 back! Zappos credited my account right away. I LOVE shopping at Zappos!!!!!!

I\'m going to preface this review with the fact that I hate to shop for shoes because I have wide feet and rarely like the styles available to me. Plus, shoes are expensive. That being said, I LOVE my Earth Shoes! They are worth every cent. Plus, I\'ve had more "Cute shoes!" complements than I\'ve ever had in my life--no joke!\r\n\r\nThey fit perfectly the first time--no exchanges necessary. The instructions when placing the order and from other reviewers helped me choose the right size and width.\r\n\r\nI was concerned about getting used to the "negative heel" technology--I had visions of myself falling backwards becase I have a condition that affects my balance. They feel a little different at first, but I never once felt like I was going to fall over. Actually, I stand taller in the shoes even though the heel is lower. I notice my calf muscles feeling a bit more tight after a day of wearing them. That shows me they are working! \r\n\r\nThey really do reduce my lower back pain and are very comfortable to wear all day long (although I am not on my feet an excessive amount of time through out the day). \r\n\r\nI expect I will buy another pair for winter wear. \r\n\r\nIf you spend time and money on interventions for back pain or poor posture, buying a pair of these shoes should be next on your list. You may SAVE money in the long run (pardon the pun)!

These Earth sneakers are pretty cool. The sparkly laces were a surprise. I have a narrow foot and Earth only makes medium (and maybe wide), but the width is fine. They don't look like Earth shoes--have a pretty clean, modern profile. The toes are a little bulbous, but they're not really obvious with long jeans. I like 'em--and love, love, love Zappos!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! Comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I use them when I walk with my son in his stroller for an extra workout. So comfortable I can wear them all day long! They don't feel like negative heel sneakers, so I don't know if I'm burning more calories, but my legs look good!

I love these shoes--I have them in four colors! I have to dress up for work but I wear these for business casual because I do a lot of walking. Much sleeker than a regular old walking shoe. BUT--the arch support stinks so if you've got flat feet, make sure you buy some comfy arch supports!

If you are a fan of negative heel shoe construction, these are great! They are very comfortable and required no breaking in. I have narrow, arthritic feet and knew right away they were keepers...I ordered my normal shoe size, and they fit perfectly. They have a somewhat unique look, but are still stylish and cute! By the way, Zappos service is fantastic.

These shoes are better than the picture.
They have the Earth shoe comfort without the wide toe box look of the old Earth shoes. The metallic stripes were a surprise, but subtle and attractive.

These are the most comfortable Earth shoes that I have purchased. I just had a baby and was looking for comfortable walking shoes that would look good in jeans or sweats. At first I hesitated to order Earth shoes because I've purchased pairs in the past and end up not wearing them because they hurt my arches if worn all day (I have flat feet) and they look too clunky. So I'd end up feeling self-conscious about them. But these look pretty cute, relatively speaking. The first thing I noticed is how soft and light they are. I've been wearing them out nonstop since I got them. I feel more bouncy in them. I generally wear size 6 1/2 for dressy shoes and wear size 7 1/2 for athletic shoes to accommodate socks and extra space for my toes. In this case, size 7 worked fine. Maybe it's because they're a bit wide. Anyhow, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have a wider foot. Earth shoes come in a medium width only. Some Earth shoes fit me very well. This one is a little narrower. If you have a "normal" width, it should be fine. I own several pairs of Earth shoes because of comfort.

I loved the way the shoe looked but I ordered a size 9 and it fit like a size 10 so my daughter that wears a 10 is wearing them everyday.

GREAT EARTH PREMIER "TENNIES"
This shoe has nice toe room, is very comfortable and pretty. The picture does not do it justice. I like the Premier better than any others I have tried.

I really love these shoes. They are my first pair of Earth shoes and I will definitely buy Earth shoes again. I like the negative heel and really didn't need time to adjust to it, as other reviews suggest. I wish they had a little more arch support, but they are nice and wide which works for me. My back doesn’t hurt after standing and walking all day like it does with other shoes.

Very comfortable; I have a tailor's bunion; this shoe is wide enough to accommodate that. I also had a callus (for years) on the underside of my big toe due to pressure from all other shoes that I have worn and the way I was walking in shoes. The callus completely disappeared within a few weeks of wearing these shoes, because they really did realign my body and position of my stride. They are well worth the money if you have persistent foot problems and think that they may alleviate the problems. They are kind of goofy looking, but not as goofy as I originally anticipated.

 |  | I just want to thank you, and commend the customer service staff at Zappos. I just couldn't believe it when you actually kept me abreast of the certain pair of shoes I was looking for! Having a size 4- 1/2 foot, is very hard finding shoes. I could wear certain kinds of shoes such as boots, clogs, etc…but having to wear 3 heavy pairs of socks in order for them to fit! Well, they fit, but my feet kill me! Clogs such as the ones I purchased, seem to be more comfortable. I'm just hoping that they're not too big for me. I can’t wait to get them and see!
