Love them! The roads here in Brasilia aren't exactly the best, but these are great for the support, cushioning, the whole nine yards. I had Wave Nirvana 2s, and am so very pleased with the upgrades in the 4s. Again, love 'em!

Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4 -
Bought a pair of these a year and a half ago and pretty much lived in them. Had a bad achilles tendon from running and these shoes did the trick for me.
Wound up getting them from Zappos as I couldn't find them in my size in town. Great shoe.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: New Balance is all I used to wear but Mizuno is the next step.

Not my cup of tea -
I didn't think that this shoe had enough shock support. Take this with a grain of salt as I normally have joint problems, but I didn't feel that these shoes helped in this area.

Mizuno's Wave® Nirvana™ 4 -
The best athletic shoe I've found. This is my third pair of Mizuno's Wave® Nirvana™. I stand at work all day and these shoes are great.

Mizuno Nirvana Fan -
I've now had at least one pair of each of the 4 variation that Mizuno has released of the Nirvana. They continue to improve, but this was by far the largest jump from the original.
Another great shoe, I'm about to buy a second pair for backup.

Fantastic shoes!
This will be my third pair of Mizunos. For me, they are the most comfortable athletic shoe on the market. They are very durable and difficult to wear out. I purchased my first two pair in 2000 while living in Guam because I needed a well ventilated shoe for the tropics, they worked great and I still wear them occasionally.
I'm now in Iraq where the temperature can exceed 125F and I decided it was time to purchase a replacement. I couldn't be happier with the new Mizuno Wave 4s. With athletic shoes, I've always purchased one size larger than my street shoe size which is what I did with these. I can't say enough about the great service that Zappos provides. In the four months that I've been in Iraq, I've purchased three pair of shoes from Zappos (this includes exchanging one pair and returning one pair). Exchanges or refunds are a breeze with Zappos, even from Iraq and at no cost to the customer either. Just can't beat it! Customer service is tops, I even received a hand written note from the rep that handled my last exchange. Impressive!

 |  | Dear Customer Service, I would like to personally say Zappos is an amazing company that I will always order from. I am never disappointed with the service, merchandise, etc. I just ordered a pair of boots that I ordered the wrong size and received them yesterday and ordered the right pair last night and saw on my email that the new pair coming is arriving today which is incredibly fast service. There is no reason for me to order anywhere else for shoes. Zappos has the best selection of shoes that are gorgeous and also the customer service team is always incredible and extremely helpful.
