Unique style, elastic bands affect size -
I bought a pair of Skymra Canvas shoes after seeing a friend with them. I think they're a fantastic, unique style, and I received compliments about them. The sizing, however, left something to be desired. My feet are slightly wider than normal (between D and E), and I found the pair I purchased much too narrow at my normal size. While some shoes stretch, I think that the elastic bands on the Skymra Canvas prevent that from happening, so folks with wider feet should purchase something larger than their regular, length-measured size. For those in my situation: I ended up cutting one of the two bands, which helped ease the narrowness.

This shoes runs so narrow that I had great difficulty even trying it on. The elastic band is very tight. Once I was able to get these shoes on my feet, they hurt terribly. I am returning the shoes because there is no way I can wear them. Incidentally, I purchased these sneakers in a men\'s size which is comparable to the usual size I typically wear in a women\'s shoe but I would say they run as narrow as a quad A in a women\'s shoe although the width is supposed to be D or medium in a men\'s shoe. The length was fine. They are neat looking and attractive sneakers but this color combination and size are not available in a women\'s shoe which is why I ordered it in a men\'s size. That usually works well for me but not with this style.

Great shoe design. A little tight at first, but has stretched right to the size of my foot. Fits a little big. Looks like the picture. Easy to slip on and off.
