What is Earth thinking?
Since so many of us have been wearing sport shoes for most of our life, our feet tend to be somewhat wider. That and nutrition have made all of us larger and we have larger feet. It would be both practical and good economics for shoes to be wider and to have more styles in larger sizes. Earth shoes are still great and wonderful to wear.

Pretty great - I have problems with the ball of my foot where so many shoes don't have sufficient support/padding. Earth shoes in general are great for ball of foot pain, as the construction places far less impact on the ball of the foot than usual. I wear these frequently, usually without any pain. The only time I've had pain is when I wore them all over Florence for a week, where almost every surface is stone or cobble stone. The pain I had was in the heel, where there is very little padding (MBTs were a good way to get over the pain, as they can relieve both ball of foot and heel pain). I walk my dog in these all the time – the unusually heavy walking days in Florence were the only time I've had a problem. I get compliments on the looks all the time. I'm buying another pair in another color.

AH! The comfort.
The shoes are so light and so comfortable. I was taken aback to realize that most of the shoe is a fabric and just a little leather.

Have had compliments on the look, seemed to run a 1/2 size smaller. Am having trouble with the right shoe- seems narrower than the left- I have not had this issue with other shoes.

This shoe is very comfortable. I am a nurse practitioner, and spend a lot of time on my feet. It seems slightly smaller than its stated size, but otherwise met all of my expectations!

My feet don't hurt -
These shoes are wonderful. I like the way that they don't look like just regular white tennis shoes, they have character. The negative heel just took a few steps to get used to, and it feels funny to walk in other shoes now. We went to a concert and ended up standing for about 3 hours and my feet did not hurt the next day. I was so pleasantly surprised. I have already told my sister about them, and I plan on ordering another white pair, and will try some of the other styles too.

Love this shoe! I work in a hospital and after a full day, my feet do not hurt. I have been wearing Crocs and these are much more comfortable.

Expecting silver leather, not silver nylon!!!
These run very small, tight & narrow! Of the 10 pairs of Earth Shoes I have, these are the only disappointing pair so far! Way overpriced to just be made of nylon w/ little leather trim pieces! The only thing going for them is their cuteness...

Fantastic!
I have flat feet and many foot problems following foot reconstruction surgery. These shoes were comfort unparalleled right out of the box! The negative heel left my toes in a position where there is no pressure and no pain. I actually hated to take them off at the end of the very first day. If you wear orthotics, get a size wider. I highly recommend!!!

These shoes are VERY nice. They are very light weight and surprisingly supportive. The only complaint I have is that my left shoe fits differently than the right shoe. The left shoe creased outward at the base of my toes causing pain when I bend my toes. I adjusted the lacing and tried walking around the house a few hours. I am still hoping this will ease with some breaking in. The right shoe feels like a dream! The look is better than the picture. They go with shorts, pants, any color.

This is a great sneaker/shoe! They are flat enough that you can feel the ground under your feet but have a nice arch to keep your foot in place and your body in alignment. I work 12 hr. shifts at the hospital and my feet and back don't hurt at the end of the day! I also like that with my purchase, $5 is donated to environmental and conservation organizations.

My feet are really hard to fit, these shoes are wonderful and I will by them again. I found I needed a 1/2 larger to make them comfortable. Just wanted you to know your service is incredible!!!

Very comfortable, cute, a bit too bright white, but I’ll scuff them up soon. Walking barefoot after wearing them felt unusual, but wearing the shoes gives a nice stretch to my calves.

Love them -
They are super comfortable and lightweight. I’ve been wearing them to work and they're a nice change from high heels. At first my shins kind of hurt (the muscles, not the bones), but after a couple of long walks with these shoes, it went away. I highly recommend them.

Everything I have come to expect of Earth shoes, plus they seem to be almost weightless. Love the retro tennis shoe style, not fussy and the soles are amazingly flexible. Already my first choice in casual summertime shoe.

This was my first pair of Earth shoes & I LOVE them!
They're so comfortable I wore them every day.
A few minutes after putting them on, my lower back pain subsided. My feet feel great, even after a long day.
Even though the price seems high, for me, they are well worth it!

Cute & comfortable -
Comfortable & cute. Had reservations when I first put them on because the left pinched my little toe slightly, and the right tongue dug into my instep. But I could immediately feel relief of pain I normally have in the balls of my feet even with flat shoes so I kept trying them for an hour or so a day around the house. Eventually those issues went away (did stuff golf balls in the left toe box overnight to stretch it out a little.) Very cute and not orthopedic looking. Lightweight. Depth in the toebox is fairly shallow so would not recommend with thick socks or if you need the extra depth.

After a long search, the Devi turns out to be a good choice.
I was not comfortable in the super-padded, ankle grabbing typical walking shoes. This shoe is very simple, with a good arch support. It is not nearly as "negative" as other Earth shoes, so there was no break in for me. I do think it is overpriced (not Zappos fault) for a virtual Ked with support, but it works for me. I have put many miles on this pair. The leather does get hot, but I like the fact that they are leather (old fashioned).

Earth shoes are so comfy!
These shoes are so lightweight, very comfortable, you can wear them all day easily. I don't wear these to work in, but great day-off shoes. The little 'nubbies" in the footbed are really comfortable too. This shoe has a slight neg-heel design; great for deciding if you like it or not. (I have had no problems getting used to it. Overall really great shoes, I would purchase again.

My Devi's look much better than the picture. When I took them out of the box I-- WOW! Love at first sight! Put them on and I knew these would feel great for work. They are. It took a few hours to adjust to the negative heel and now when I wear other shoes it feels strange. I stand at work in a butcher shop on cement floors. My legs don't hurt anymore. Thank you with a smile!!!

Earth Shoes saved my back!
Ok, so it looks a little like a kid's sneaker, and wearing the white one makes me feel like I'm back in high school gym class (circa 1970's). In fact, I did own a pair of Earth shoes in 1977, and they were my favorite shoes. I work in a hospital and have owned many pairs of Nursemates and other ordinary athletic shoes over the years, but after a long day on my feet have always had a backache by the end of my shift. Not with these shoes, though! My only complaint is that there isn't much spring to the footbed. I am contemplating a set of inserts to make them a bit more cushion-y.

I bought the Earth Devi for a cruise the first of April -
I haven't worn them yet, but I'm not even breaking them in because I'm counting on them being as comfortable as the Earth Premier I purchased a few months ago. I have a AA narrow foot and probably will only be able to wear the Earth shoes that lace, but I've already started looking for the next pair. I can't say enough about the great service at Zappos and recommend them to all of my friends.

A very comfortable shoe!
I have tried many other brands of shoes-(cheaper!) for work as a nurse in a hospital, but I keep coming back to Earth! You just can't beat the comfort! They are very soft and comfy right out of the box- I didn't have to break them in. I love them!
