Very nice boots. They are so comfortable I think I may order another pair before they discontinue the style. I love how comfortable they are!

I'm really into boots and Converse High-Tops for the ankle support and general comfort. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They lace up snugly and look great with long pants outside the boots or tucked in, and with the Safari Shorts I like to wear when the weather here is warmer. I was immediately taken by the look, but find myself doing yard work in the boots, which have a sturdy sole for using a shovel, and great protection from thorny rose bushes. They're very stylish and I get some admiring comments but it’s the comfort and sturdiness I've come to appreciate even more than the great looks. Worth every penny!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: If you like boots, you'll also love Marc Nasons. I have one pair I wear at least once a week.

I have worn many pairs and types of boots while I was in the MARINE CORPS and then as a construction worker and these are by far the best pair of boots I ever had on my feet. I wear them in place of my sneakers now. The only thing that worries me is when I find a product I like this much, they stop making it! The only thing I can say about these boots that I might change is that they have the eye holes all the way up for lacing and not the speed hooks at the top.

Best all-around -
I'm in law enforcement and I'm a reservist that's deployed. I've worn just about every brand of boot in just about every situation. These are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. You factor in the price and it makes them even better. I've had the Oakleys (way too expensive) and I've had the ripple soles. These trump them. Some may not like the padding on the uppers for blousing or for the general feel, but I've no complaints. I've run in them and they're almost as good as my running shoes. I don't know about durability here, but at home my black pair have held up quite well. The sole does tend to wear somewhat quickly because they're softer than other boots, but at this price I don't mind.

Not so much...
I was issued 2 pairs on my way to Iraq. I tried them on and left them at home. They fit like snowboarding boots - you know - the kind that clamp your feet to the board and don't allow you to bend your ankles. They sides were comfortable no doubt and the sole seamed really nice too, but complete inability to moves my ankles made the decision a no-brainer for me. No thanks Converse...

I love these boots! I nearly got a blister wearing this one day because I loosely tied the laces and my heel kept on rubbing. I learned my lesson and I now tie them well and securely. Comfortable but sometimes itches on the calves or maybe it’s just my dry skin - hehehe...

Comfortable, doesn't rub the inside of my feet. Great padding all around. If you like the leanest and lightest boots, these may not satisfy. They add a few ounces, but for those that are not special ops or routinely working with heavy equipment, the non-safety toe and comfort are well worth a bit more weight.

Very nice boot!
Holds up very well to the sand here in the Middle East. Light weight and airy - extremely comfortable (even in 130+ degree heat). They're NON-APEL, but excellent for just trudging around camp.
