I purchased these shoes because they were listed as "waterproof". I was going on a trip where I knew it would be rainy and wanted a cute, waterproof shoe. After walking in the rain, but certainly not walking through any puddles, the shoe leaked through the seams on the bottom of the shoe. My socks were wet along the seams on the bottom of the shoes. The top of my socks were dry. I was disappointed that they truly weren't waterproof. I had wished I had purchased a shoe with Gore-Tex and a solid sole, instead. The shoe is comfortable but I did feel that I could feel the pavement through them while walking; more so than my other shoes that have firmer soles.

This is the first shoe of this type I own. It was comfortable from the first wearing and I love walking in this Teva Shay. Fits like a glove, true to size and width. Great shoe.

Loved the shoe so much that I bought an extra pair for me and another for my sister. Very comfortable. A bit snug at first making it difficult to put on, but stretched enough after only a few wearings. Probably best worn without socks, but a thin pair works nicely. The shoe is great for me because it is allows me to wear orthotic inserts without any problems. Many shoes I find don't work well with these. This was my first order from Zappos, but it won't be my last. Great service!

The Best Shoe EVER!
I love this shoe! My first pair is one year old and they're doing great. I bought a second pair, so I could wear them with just about anything. They were comfortable right out of the box. I work on my feet all day and have never had sore, tired feet or any back pain. I even went hiking in them in New Mexico in August and they were terrific. I would recommend them to anyone.

Shoes for Teva Mush lovers -
I have several pairs of Teva Mush Sandals and love them, so ordered a couple pairs of the Shay when I read about them. They are wonderful, so flexible, yet supportive and forgiving on bunions. The look is unique, a little edgy. Great with jeans, not sure how they'd look with shorts. These are definitely my favorite shoes now and will likely buy more colors.

Very comfortable shoe! It was a bit of a squeeze to get my foot in the first time, but it's also a flexible shoe so it works. My other shoes would leave me with sore feet & hips by the end of the day - these gave me great support.

I LOVE, love, love this shoe! I wear flip-flops constantly, but as soon as the weather turned cold, I couldn't wait to break out my Teva’s this year! I got them as a Christmas gift last year...they seemed really tight at first, but broke in in less than a week.

I've gotten these shoes stuck in the mud and placed them in the washing machine and they come out good as new. I ordered more pairs because eventually the pair I own - for over a year - will need replacing. Yes, I love them so much that I ordered more for the future. Although they are made to wear without socks, I wear socks with them. I also use prescription arch support, but I love the flexibility of this shoe and how it's comfortable the minute you put them on.

Most comfortable shoe. My feet always hurt from standing all day and these take away that pressure. Really happy I made this purchase. HOWEVER, the quality of the shoe seemed a little shabby. The rubber sole at the front of the toe was already peeling off the first day I got them. I fixed it with shoe goo only because the shoes were so comfortable. Now I wear them nearly everyday.

I purchased this shoe to take to Hawaii to wear through water. We have not gone, yet, so I cannot report on that. I have worn it at home and it was very comfortable. My feet did sweat in the shoes, but I think that is normal due to the heat and humidity in Oklahoma. I have a narrow foot, and this shoe fit me pretty well. My daughter tried it on, and it was a bit difficult for her to get on, although she usually wears close to the same size. Her foot is not quite as narrow as mine. I would purchase this shoe again.

Love these shoes!!
I am really loving these shoes. I have a high arch and figured that they would hurt the top of my feet, but they feel great and my feet don't hurt at all in these shoes. I get lots of compliments on these shoes. I have the dark gull color.
The only small problem with these shoes is my feet do sweat in them. Then again, it is the middle summer. I would buy another pair!

Awesome shoe!
My first pair of Tevas and I love them! It feels like I am wearing a slipper. The sole is so flexible, yet offers adequate protection and support. I have received many compliments!

SO cute, practical, it would just be nice if Teva could produce some wide width shoes. They cannot be counted on the stretch out enough for those of us who don't have medium width feet.

I love all of my Teva flip flops, so when I saw this "year-round flip flop" I had to give it a try. It's a bit snug for the first couple of wearings, but once you break it in, it's hard not to wear it everyday. I will soon be getting a second pair.

Comfortable, but doesn't live up to other claims -
I bought these on a whim when I was looking for a cute, supportive shoe for casual wear. If you like Teva's Mush flip-flops, these are for you. They are extremely comfortable with and without socks, and I was surprised by how well they conform to my narrow feet. The toe box is a bit wide, which takes away from the otherwise streamlined look, but I can live with it. I have big feet; I'm used to them looking like gunboats when I wear shorts and capris!
There are a lot of great things about this shoe, namely comfort and versatility. However, I'd like this shoe a lot more if it lived up to its other claims. The downsides of this shoe are 1) These shoes aren't nearly as breathable as claimed. During the warmer months, they're downright hot. 2) Although this shoe has an anti-microbial barrier that is supposed to allow you to go sockless without getting stinky feet/shoes, I haven't found it to be very effective, probably because these shoes aren't breathable to begin with.
In all, I'm moderately satisfied with my purchase but I would LOVE these shoes if Teva fixed the breathability issue.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I love how Teva is branching out and designing shoes with a cool look and comfort. I have been a big Keen fan for years... and now Teva is making them cute, comfy and original...! Thought I would branch out and now I own four different Teva styles. If I were to buy this shoe again...I would go true to size or 1/2 size smaller.

I love these shoes!
I put on these shoes and have not wanted to take them off since -- and I've owned them for two months. Wearing them is like going barefoot, only with soft cushion and waterproof protection. I've had an injured foot that hurts when I'm barefoot, but when I wear these the pain disappears. I confess that I didn't initially think they looked attractive, but they're so hip looking that I get compliments all the time. I wear a size 6.5 dress shoe and a size 7 running shoe, and the 6.5 Tevas fit perfectly both when I'm barefoot and when I'm wearing a lot sock. I also wore them today while I shoveled my driveway (it was -1 degree outside) and my feet miraculously stayed warm.

Soft footbed feels great -
These shoes are very comfortable. I wore them yesterday in the rain and they still look like new. They feel like wearing slippers but look like sneakers.

Pretty comfy, not a lot of support in the middle since I pronate inward. definitely order a size up. I wish they came in 1/2 sizes. Fits my foot well and I have a narrow foot and slip ons are hard to find.

This shoe has an extremely soft and inviting footbed that gives an unusual amount of comfort. I am concerned that this support in the heel is wearing out way too fast, but we'll see. The look is cool for some but I wish it was a little less ridiculous looking.

This shoe is SQUISHY. What a nice squishy footbed. Ahhhh. Shoe fits nice and snug around the foot with wiggle room for the toes. Not too difficult to get on. Great without socks. Very comfortable. I don't think, however that they are very attractive. The grey color is great. However, because the top of the shoe comes all the way up to fit snug around the ankle, it makes your feet look like two long gunboats -- just a lot of shoe showing. Still, super comfy and a keeper. I take an 8.5-9. Got both sizes and could have gone with either one but the grey came only in 9 so I'm keeping the grey. I'd say runs pretty true to size.
