Gorgeous shoe, but narrow in the toes. I've worn them a couple of days trying to get them broken in. Mostly hurts on the pinky toes. I plan to wear them for interviews, as they are versatile and go with my suits. Don't know if going a half size up would have helped, as my heel can slip out without hose on. I want to try some other Cole Haans, as I can tell the rest of the shoe is amazingly comfortable. I'm also not used to wearing heels, so adjusting to it.

Fur-lined boots with skinny look (unlike the UGGs) -
I wear a size 6, ordered this size and they fit perfectly. Boots are very warm and do fit snugly around your calves and help to give you a more streamlined look when wearing them with your jeans tucked in. I wore these to NYC and didn't get blisters and walked everywhere in the snow and ice. I did buy some Kiwi waterproofing spray from my local shoe shop to waterproof them. I also wore them with a skirt and tights. They are a lower calf height which I find is flattering if you are shorter height like me.

I was told by my Orthopedic to invest in a shoe with thick soles to take pressure off my hips & knees due to advanced arthritis. These shoes are exactly "what the Doctor ordered". The shoes came with a DVD explaining how the technology of the shoe work and the proper way to walk, all very helpful. I have not needed my cane as much when wearing these shoes.

Helped my aching lumbar spine -
I bought a size 10 (ladies) since most reviews said to order 1/2 size up. I now wish I'd have gotten a 9 1/2. I've been having to tighten the shoes off and on during the day as my foot is narrow. The shoe is a lifesaver, though, as I'm on my feet quite a bit. I like the wide toe box. Unless I wear thick socks with this shoe, my heels slip up and down. At the end of the day, I don't have fatigue in my legs, lower back or hips. This is an enormous change from wearing very well cushioned tennis shoes. I wish the shoes didn't cost so much, since I'm on a budget, but I did have to splurge to get these.

I am a nurse and on my feet for long hours, I just received by MBT's but I can tell you they are great. Well worth the money for the comfort. I like these because the toe area is a bit larger and if you have a bunion like I do it is great. Will buy another pair soon!!!! Very fast shipping, couldn't be happier, THANKS ZAPPOS!!!!

I have arthritic knees, feet and ankles and these shoes help with the pain immediately. Be careful though because you really need to break them in slowly because they really work your whole leg and can mean sore muscles. Even the orthopedic surgeon said they were good - I had to remind myself that I was worth the expense!

MBT Sport Shoe -
This is the 2nd pair of MBT shoes I have owned. They are great for the legs and low back. My first pair lasted 2 years and I still wear them for outdoor work. You just have to get used to the "rocking" of the shoe and then they are very comfortable and good for your body.

I switched from my Danskos to these, and what a difference. I work 12-14 hour days on my feet. I noticed a huge difference in my feet, knees, and hips after work. I don't have any problems with any of these areas except that they were sore when I was done working. I don't feel sore at all anymore. My only regret is that MBT does not make a wider shoe and that the sizes are a little off. I recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger. I wear an 8.5 and I had to order a 39 2/3. They are not pretty, but they definitely take good care of your feet.

So far, so good!
After reading others' reviews, I ordered up a half size which ended up being not right for me. If you've got a narrow heel, order your normal size. Zappos handled my return with flying colors, sending me the new pair before I could even get to the post office with the old (and expedited for free!). Now I'm off to break in the new MBTs!

Odd but you have to love the way they make you feel -
Ok so I did get half a size bigger and that was just right. They where strange the first time I walked in them. After that I really like the feeling in my legs and butt. Please be careful to not over walk in them because you will really feel it in your legs latter.

Purchased these because of the wonderful things I've read about MBT's, how they have helped people with any foot condition. I've started out wearing them 1-2 hours a day as suggested to me and so far cannot wear them any longer than that. I find that my knees hurt on the days I wear them. They do not have any arch support. I'm beginning to feel I just wasted a whole lot of money. They have not provided any comfort for me -- just pain and an empty wallet.

Not the same as '04 but very comfortable -
This is my 3rd pair of MBT's. My first pair was the Sport Low '04. I loved those shoes! I walk an hour every day, and worn them out. They got a hole in both soles. I purchased the '08 Sport Low and they are not quite the same. MBT has made them slightly more narrow, I normally wear an 8.5M in the '04 I needed a 9. I ordered the same size (1/2 size up from what I normally wear) in the '08 pair and have been trying very hard to break them in. They felt great around the house, but when I went for a long walk, I feel like my toes are squeezed (toe box is definitely narrower) and get blisters on both heels. I have been trying to wear these to work to break them in; walking long distance is out until then. I also have the original white Professional; I am a nurse and stand up all the time. I LOVE those shoes and so sorry they did not continue that style (should have bought 2 pair). The new Professional is not too attractive looking, but may give in a try them, as the original versions soooo comfortable!! As for the '08 Sport Low...order one half to one size up if you have wider feet.

The Best -
I had major reconstruction of both my feet in 2005, with the result of a failed surgery in my right foot. It was very painful for me to walk and I work full time as a nurse!! My first pair of MBTs were my lifesavers! In 2007 I had my right foot reconstructed once again (a full four hour surgery) and once again pain. Next was an ankle replacement to that unfortunate foot, and I now live in continuous discomfort increasing to pain. My MBTs are once again my lifesavers!! Do not know how I would be able to exist without them. They enable me to continue to work and live an almost normal life. The price is hefty, but well worth it. Can’t wait till I can save up for another pair!

Don't Judge a Shoe by its Cover -
These shoes aren't the most attractive I've seen, but given their other virtues - comfort, functionality, durability - they're now my favorite. They fit well, activate normally unused muscles all over the walking/standing physique, and they're surprisingly comfortable. Best of all, they've helped make my feet healthier. This pair does not come with arch support, but with the way the foot moves, my arches are supported.
I've had herniated disks, problem knees, a fallen arch, bad ankles...an overall structural mess in the making. I've worn orthotics for most of my adult life, and shopping for shoes has been limited to which makers allow orthotics.
I've been wearing these shoes for a while, and I can feel the difference in the whole structure of my body. It's fun to experience "quiet" muscles getting active again. I've noticed a remarkable and positive effect on my back, my ankles and my knees. These shoes are very comfortable even if a little unconventional in their style.

I wish dress shoes could be built with this technology!
Have had some knee surgery and have some arthritis that often flares up after my hour walks. Even with top walking and running shoes, still had problems. Is so much better with THESE shoes. And they seem to force me into great posture! I have hard tile floors in condo - so I'm trying to remember to wear them when cooking a long time - what a difference on my back!!! Pricey, but an investment in my well-being!

Love 'Em!
I wasn't sure how I would react to wearing the MBT sole. Gosh, I really like them. I bought the 9.5 medium width. The fit is very good. Only "problem" - I had to change out the laces for a pair that would stay in place after I adjusted (tightened) them for a secure fit at the heel. I will buy again from MBT.

Great shoes for a bad back -
I was recently in a car accident and these shoes have greatly reduced my back pain. Who knew that a pair of shoes could make that much difference? I nearly choked on the price, but I must admit they are a worthwhile investment.

Nothing at all like the original Sport White 04!
First of all I'm a loyal Zappos customer and have reviewed several times and always with an extremely positive review. This time that is far from the case and I hope you continue to impress me with your integrity by featuring this not-so-good opinion this time...I have the MBT White Sport 04 (the last version) and the MBT Sandal Black 04 and am still using them almost every day and they are my favorite footwear ever and also seem to last forever! Firstly, when I started wearing this new one they did not feel like the originals at all -- couldn't tell you exactly what it was. Secondly, I've worn this new one for only three weeks, every day, and the sensor part has flattened a lot and the sole is already starting to wear through. I guess I am grateful that I still have my originals and that they are still in good shape after literally a couple years of use.

I ordered a pair of blue/white shoes for my sister. I ordered them a size larger as suggested.
