I hate these shoes. They look awesome, but I bought them from the North Face store. Tried them on and they appeared to fit great. My husband swore by his North Face athletics as well. He bought the male style similar to these. We were both very disappointed. The seam of the shoe is right over my little toes and rubs against them when I'm walking. I am a runner and bought them for that. I wouldn't dare take them out for a run for fear of serious blisters, especially after the minor ones I get from just walking in them. That's with thick socks on, too! My husband is a runner as well. His fell apart in about 6 weeks. North Face quality at least as far as athletic shoes are concerned seemed to have gone downhill. Needless to say these are in nearly new condition and sitting in my closet. Would return them, but I am 2 hours from the nearest North Face Store. I'll go back to my Asics.

Training for 50 mile trail run and these shoes were exactly what I needed. As always, Zappos got them to me right away.

Overall, I like these shoes and they're quite comfortable, but the back of the shoe seems rather wide and my heels ride up and down in them. That said, the problem can be fixed with inserts. I normally order a half size larger in athletic shoes, but with these I don't think you need to.

 |  | Wow. I placed an order online in Seattle yesterday at 2pm and this morning before I finished my first cup of coffee a UPS guy was standing in front of me with my shoes. I was going to ask if he had a shoehorn and could put my shoes on, because it was almost like being in a shoe store it was so fast. And best of all, it was free shipping. I feel like leaving you guys a tip or something. But I’ll tell you what, 3 other people in my office saw what went down and they were all on Zappos today shopping and I know they told a few friends.
