I recently purchased a pair of Teva Omnium sandals from Zappos. They were delivered in a timely manner, fit correctly to the size I ordered and performed perfectly. I would not hesitate (and am considering) ordering another pair.

Great shoe for everyday walking and truly awesome in the water. Very fast drying and the sole is very grippy. Zappos is top notch.

Loved them until the little darker part of the back heel started to come loose from the rest of the sole. Used exterior double-sided tape to hold it on for a time, but it only held for awhile. The darker part wore thin and came loose. Other than that, they're okay.

Due to a back injury of fifteen years ago I have been helping the shoe industry survive. I right now have about fifteen pairs of very good shoes.I tried a a pair of the Teva Omnium leather to start with. I wore them every day for about three months. I was amazed at the level of comfort. I usually change shoes two to three times per day. I purchased another pair in the olive synthetic material. They were just as good and a better buy. Lots of room in the toe box, and very good support overall. I can wear these all day. I can wear these for about six months of the year where I live. I now need to find a pair of high tops that will meet the comfort and stability of the Omnium Teva.

I tried on all the other sandal-type shoes on the market and found none that had the comfortable, glove-like feel like the Teva Omnium. In fact, they are so comfortable with their cushioning and 3 areas of adjustment, that I can run in them. For many years I backpacked a week at a time in Teva Wraptors, so I was not surprised that the Omniums were so superior. Al Lewis

Wow, just got my second pair of these sandals. Everything about these is correct. Teva got the fit perfect. I have a medium arch and run about 45 - 55 mi/wk. The Omnium sandals have been my post run shoe. Even after a 10 mile run with tired feet and legs these sandals keep my feet going. This summer I've just started wearing them all the time. Which includes, school, work, and vacation. A couple of days ago I got the feeling I could run in these things. After a little experimentation I ended up using a pair of thin wool socks and had an awesome run on my favorite technical trail along the Lake Superior shoreline.

Disappointed in the Omniums. I bought them to wear on the various but hot and wet terrains of Costa Rica. They took a long time to dry (and were not so good at killing odors, no matter what kind of improbably antimicrobial fibers they're made of, and my shoes don't smell normally), which was a minor annoyance but the real problem was that they chewed up my heel. It was so painful to walk by the end of the trip that I was walking with my heel over the back, like as slippers, so they were not a great help when climbing rocks or doing other activities where you actually need your shoes to perform and stabilize you. My friend got a pair as well and he had the same problem. I think it's at least partly due to the water retention, which caused friction, and it was such a nice addition to my trip to scream in pain every time my open-sored heels went into salt water. They also run big so get at least a half size smaller than your sneakers, and if you do buy them, carry band-aids. Ow!

Great sandals! Very comfortable and have a good grip on wet surfaces (I use them fly-fishing in the summer). My only complaint is that they don't dry fast enough and will sometimes take more than 24 hours until completely dry.

Bought this shoe for fording rivers while hiking. It's great because it's lightweight and has a protected toe and heel. It also seems to be durable. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I purchased to use exclusively for kayaking (California), but recently used for river fishing up at Kennedy Meadows. Very comfortable, true to size and perform as stated. They hike/wear well and are excellent for toe protection and, well draining. I mean, just look at em, they are built for this purpose. I don't know that I'd trek the Sierras in them but for day hikes and getting to exclusive fishing holes they were great for scurrying along granite to get to remote places. I know they will more than meet my expectations for kayaking. Waiting to see how they wear over the long haul, couple seasons, we'll see! So far, so good.

Several months ago I had purchased a pair of Teva Omnium sandals at a local Charlotte retail store. I was so pleased with the sandals that I decided to buy another pair but, not the same color. I shopped the mall stores, REI, Dick\'s Sporting, Sports Authority, etc., all to no avail. That is when I decided to try Zappo\'s. I found the size and color I wanted and placed the order. They were my door within 5 calender days. This is not my first time ordering from Zappo\'s and certainly will not be my last. Zappo\'s is the place to go when you think the product you\'re looking for doesn\'t exist. With their shipping policy, you can\'t go wrong.

These sandals are incredibly comfortable: I was able to walk 3 miles on the first day and 5 on the second, before a very slight friction made me decide to stop. From the third day onward, no discomfort whatsoever, even at the 20-mile mark, with no breaks. Although they are not very airy, they don't cause much sweating, and don't get smelly. At times, little pebbles do get trapped inside, but simply lifting the heel and shaking the afflicted foot is usually enough to let them right out. Walking on the beach is best done barefoot, or one would soon be dragging around several pounds of sand. The rubber sole has a good grip, and doesn't leave marks. What prevents me from giving top marks is the fact that the right sole started coming unglued within the first week, at the junction between the upper, lighter, layer, and the bottom one. True, by then I had put on about 50 miles on the shoes, but even so, it was disappointing. The left sandal held on for about a month, before displaying the same issue. At any rate, once glued back together, they haven't presented any more problems. I have had them now for 4 months, about 700-800 miles (I do enjoy walking); I work out with them, hike trails, wade rivers (they dry somewhat quickly when worn, overnight if taken off), and the soles are starting to be a bit smooth. I would say in another couple of months they will be threadbare, but that's a couple-hundred miles away. Would I buy them again? I just did. I compare them to the Keens I had a while ago, and they are decidedly better, since the Keens soles split in half after a few months.

Great sandal. Extremely comfortable and accommodates my extremely wide foot. The only con that I can remotely say about them is that they are not that easy to get in and out of, but you get used to it. Other than that, I love my Omniums and will use them for any type of outdoor adventure.

Great sandal/shoe. I got these for my husband who has giant wide feet. He didn't want standard sandals because he didn't want to show off his toes. These were comfy from the moment he tried them on, totally adjustable. It's been over a month with them and he still loves them! They look great too!

I run a boatyard in southeastern Connecticut. I bought the Teva Omnium to serve as my daily work shoe. It hasn't disappointed. Fits well, decent support, kind to yacht decks and my toes are protected from the inevitable stubbing. Finally, Zappos has been their usual prompt and efficient selves. No complaints and no worries.

The shoes are great. Very comfortable and very well priced. I love the service. I had my shoes the next day. Just yesterday I purchased another sandal after first seeing it in a retail store in my neighborhood. It was priced twice as much higher than the same sandal, in the same color, on your web site. I bought yours and it is being delivered today.

Great sandal! I recently took a 44 mile backpacking trip through the San Rafael Wilderness and all I wore for the feet were the Teva Optimums. They were comfortable and adjustable (for when the feet begin to swell!). There were quite a few water crossings on the trek and the Teva's spider rubber soles grabbed onto the river rocks and held me in place, while I watched others in the group slip into the creek! When they claim that the shoe propels you forward with each step, it's true. I'd never experienced that before and was impressed! The only drawbacks from the trip was one blister (from walking on the side of a mountain for a couple miles and having my foot scrunch up in the sandal, causing the blister) and the weeds that would get stuck in the webbing. But a little moleskin for the blister and some diligent thorn plucking at night, and I was off the next day, happy with my purchase!

Just got these shoes yesterday. They are just as advertised and I would say a big yes to everyone's comments praising the shoes. Just one thing... I'm not sure if I got a lemon pair or not...The shoes are great except mine came with very tiny, even miniscule dots on the inward sole that irritated my left foot. The dots were on both shoes, so I'm wondering if it was an error in the manufacturing or if it's simply part of the manufacturing process and comes with all Omniums. I don't want to send them back (I like them, and have an upcoming trip that I need to start breaking them in for). But the dots simply as they were/are won't work for me. The dots: The dots are miniscule bits of rubber that are a part of the zinc embedded sole. The sole has tiny indented lines on it (probably for keeping the feet from sliding around in them) and if there are two lines for every section on the sole, the dots are found at nearly every section, normally close to the lines. I have taken to sanding them (with sandpaper) to try to wear these dots down. Its been a process, but I'm pretty sure I can wear them down and still be able to break them in before my trip. Like I said, I could have returned the shoes, but besides the dots these shoes are simply the best I could find for my purposes. I looked at Keen H2s, Skechers Ganges and Skechers Safaris, and these. These won. They have the best anti-microbial treatment (it's actually embedded into the entire rubber layer that your feet touch in the shoes, so it will never wash off or wear out) - you'll throw the shoes away before the inside soles start smelling. Your shoes won't stink. Everyone seemed to say about the Keen H2s that over time and with much use, they end up stinking tremendously! For a backpacker, sleeping next to your shoes is common (even having them in the tent with you at times). I couldn't bear the thought of having smelly shoes with me everywhere I went. The Skechers Safaris are good (I own a pair), but not quite as comfortable (I wouldn't want to walk for miles and miles in them without socks) as these Omnium's are supposed to be. The Skechers Ganges looked almost exactly like what I wanted, only they have parts that won't dry quickly, and for my applications, that's something I was looking for. My applications? I wanted a really good hiking/backpacking shoe/sandal that could be used both on land and in water. I wanted the ability to basically travel anywhere with them, without concern for odor, drying hassles or blisters. These seemed to fit the bill. In fact, as far as my research brought me, these are pretty much the best sandals in their class. And I would say they fit the class of hiking/water-wear. I haven't really broken them in yet, but I can tell already, with great adjustability and top-notch materials these sandals are going to be good...hopefully, awesome.

Great shoe after initial break in period. The openings make for a shoe that is ventilated for regular wear, but is also made of a mesh that is supposed to get wet, unlike athletic shoes that never dry. I will be a counselor at a camp, and they require shoes with a covered toe. Perfect!

 | | Wow. Now THAT'S service. My husband has used your shoes for the past few years, since he found this particular Nike brand that worked well. He's retiring on the 30th after 32 years with UPS (never took a sick day, never missed work, and never had an accident or injury. He was last year's Utah Driver of the Year) and I told him he just HAD to get some new shoes for the occasion. They'll honor him for a few minutes before everyone takes off for the work day, so we were worried if they'd get here in time. He's told lots of UPS'ers about his shoes, and your site. Thanks for your excellent service. We'll continue using your site over all others because of your attention to detail and your excellent track record. No sales tax, no shipping fees, and now, faster shipping. Couldn't be better. Sincerely, Ruth E.
