Comfort plus! My second pair of Yarrahs. Great comfort, could use more arch support. Will handle an orthotic. No break in time. Put them on and go.

Disappointment in Ecco walking shoes - I have several pair of Ecco sandals, which I love, but these Ecco shoes were described as walking shoes. I just walked a lot in San Francisco, and they hurt my heels. The heels are too low and uncomfortable. I am so disappointed and feel that I wasted my money.

I got these shoes in the blue for running around w/ my two small kids. They are not the most stylish shoes ever, but pretty cute for the type of shoe they are. They are very comfortable and wear well. One caveat--sand or small rocks can get in easily through the openings in the sides & back. Otherwise they are great.

Yarrah did better than expected on wet slippery rocks -
The shoe had a thinner, more flexible sole than expected, so I didn't intend to use it for hiking. Life doesn't always fit plans and I ended up in the rain, on an area where the rocks are slippery. Possibly the fact my foot was able to react to the surface helped, but no slips with these shoes and I'd had a few slips and slides with thicker soled shoes in similar conditions. I would have preferred more arch support, but there is some.

My new shoes -
These shoes are just about as attractive as you could expect a Mary Jane style sport walking shoe to be. They are very comfortable, but since I chose white, I wear them in hot weather and find them a bit warm on the feet. Maybe a pair of cotton peds would help.

I bought this shoe for a vacation that would require a great deal of walking in the city. I wanted a shoe that looked a little less sporty than tennis shoes, and the Yarrah certainly met that requirement. Even after getting them soaked in a rain storm, they looked good as new after they dried. The shoe was comfortable to wear, but I would have liked a little more arch support. I would definitely buy another pair.

Bought this shoe in orange to wear in Las Vegas when/if I got blisters from my sandals. I didn't have any this last trip, but wore anyway for an alternate look. This is my first pair of Mary Jane style shoes and got a few compliments and I like the look on my foot. A cross between a sport sandal and casual shoe. Ordered a size 39 (my normal size) and a 40. Decided to keep the 40 b/c fit better with a low cut sock. However, I wore them in Las Vegas w/o socks and just had to tighten the velcro strap a little more and they worked just fine!

I purchased this shoe for an easy walking shoe to take on a recent vacation. I found that I liked it so much I was 'saving' it for future travel. I purchased two more pair so that I can enjoy them at home too.

Walking shoes -
I bought these shoes to wear on our trip to Italy in October. I was going to save them to wear there, but they are so comfortable I'm wearing them all the time. Great looking shoe. It wears like a sneaker, but looks better and is a little dressier.

Very, very comfortable for walking (soft materials). Excellent for summer, a little on the wide side which is great in summer when the feet are wider. Got the ones in orange and have received lots of compliments.

Cute, but...
These are very cute shoes, but offer no support and have very little sole so you feel all the bumps and rocks in the road. Good for hanging out, but not long days on your feet which is why I bought them. For the price and usual quality of ECCO, I am very disappointed.

Really Comfortable!
The Yarrah (I have white/grey) is very comfortable, even when worn for long periods of time. It's a tad wide for my foot, but the strap helps. The arch support is very good.

My only concern with the shoe is the heel is constructed with an elastic band and I fear that it will stretch out. The heel is a little loose (issue I have with most shoes); however, the strap holds the shoe on. I walked 2 miles in them on Sunday, no socks, and they were comfortable. I did have a drugstore orthotic tucked under the very cool and comfy innersole.

Super cute, comfy, and practical all at the same time!
I ordered these in the orange and cream version. I fell in love with them at first sight. :) I have exactly size 7 feet though, so the whole 7-7 1/2 size range felt too big for me. I exchanged them though for a 5-6 size and they fit perfectly! Zappos was such a pleasure to work with. They actually made the exchange enjoyable, with their fun recordings and hand made "thank you" cards upon their receiving your return. Thanks Zappos for being so freaking awesome.

I wanted a cute, comfortable "sneaker" for the summer. The Yarrah is not your conventional "sneaker" but better! It's light and fun to wear.

This is a great fitting shoe. No break in, felt great from the first wearing. I would recommend this shoe to anyone. I usually wear a 7 or 38, but the 37 fits in this shoe.

Mixed feelings -
Overall I really like this shoe (which I got in the creamsicle orange/cream combination). My mixed feelings all come from their lumping half sizes together in a way that hasn't worked well for me. I typically wear 10.5. I initially ordered size 11 (11/11.5, to be precise). The sole was comfortable, the instep was fine, but it was toooo long. And because the back of the heel has stretchy cording, it was even worse. So I sent back the gray/blue version of my initial order, and ordered the spiffy creamsicle in size 10 (more precisely, 10/10.5). Unfortunately, they feel -- as the day goes on -- as though they are too short, a problem not vitiated by the stretchy cording. And even though my right foot is slightly wider due to a bunion, it is the left shoe that pinches most through the toes.

I have bunions and other foot problems. And Ecco shoes generally work well for me. Besides being very comfortable (for folks who have generally narrow feet), these shoes attract a lot of favorable comments when I wear them. What could be better--shoes that feel good and that are cute.

Very comfortable shoe for walking -
Perfect fit with plenty of support and nice soles that help with foot fatigue and pain. The first pair of Eccos I purchased were too tight on my toes, but these are wide enough at the toe. I've worn them when walking around San Antonio, up and down the Riverwalk and up and down many stairs. They look great with jeans - feel like athletic shoes, but look much nicer.

 |  | I could write a novel about my experience with Zappos. Great selection of 8.5AA or narrow. Your Customer Service Reps are very knowledgeable and helpful. I find the shoe(s) I want to order on my computer, and phone to place the order. It is much easier for me to place my order over the phone instead of using the "Shopping Cart." I ordered a pair of shoes, they didn't fit, phoned your company, they told me how to return the shoes, and the next day the new size was delivered before I returned the shoes that didn't fit. The convenience of ordering shoes and speaking with a "real person" is very rare these days. I no longer have to go to stores trying to find an AA/Narrow. No one seems to carry them anymore.
