Look like suede -
I purchased the brown with grey lining. The description said they were made from hemp, but it looks more like that microfiber, faux suede material. I usually wear canvas shoes, and I was looking for something warmer for the cold months. I'm not crazy about the look. Someone actually asked me if they were knock-off Uggs (gross). However, they're super warm and comfortable.

A very unique design for Vans -
The shoe is very comfortable even with the apparently thin sole. The addition of hemp adds to the comfort. I wear them every day to work almost. An eye catcher too and goes well casually with distressed jeans and a t-shirt or whatnot.

The material the shoes are made from is very thin; they also do not have any traction. But they are extremely comfortable to wear.

I bought these shoes because I needed a new pair of house shoes. They are very comfortable and I’m pleased with them. My wife loves them but thinks they're not worth the price. I probably would buy another pair in the future.

The house shoe worn out of the house -
This shoe is very light. I've worn them every evening after work for three weeks, and it looks like the construction will hold up. You might not want to run any marathons in this shoe, but when I wear it out, it's like the world is my house. I like having hemp on my feet too.

Okay but not right for me -
I really liked the way the shoe looked online, but when I got them it was completely different. It did not fit, and it looked really funny on my foot. It's a fine shoe, just not for me.

Sweet shoes -
These shoes are great. I bought them for my boyfriend and he loves them. After ordering them online they were here in about three days. The Vans Mesa are extremely comfortable and very stylish. Love them!!!!

Held together with glue -
These were hands-down the worst pair of Vans I ever bought. They felt really loose all over, the sole is peeling off the shoe already after only 10 hours of wearing them and they look more like a slipper than what the pictures depict.

Comfy slip-on -
I found the Vans Mesa pretty loose in the heel area, but they are still very light and comfortable. They can be warn with socks or not and can be slipped on with the heel down.

FREAKIN MAJESTIC!
Like I said, simply phenomenal! The first Vans Mesa I ordered were majestic but I wasn't fellin the color, everything else was great but the color. So I called later that night and ordered a different next day came home from track and there they were. I just want to say thanks for all the effort that u've put into everything, and great FREE SHIPPING!

These shoes are simply phenomenal! There everything that I wanted them to be. Comfort, Look, and Overall! And the shipping was less than 2 days! These are the best! I needed some shoes just for relaxing, after a hard days work from skating.

If you like Sanuks "sidewalk surfers" but you don't feel like spending big bucks on them these shoes are a great alternative...downside of these shoes is that near the toes the shoe looks like a rear end...but I mean who looks at the tip of your shoes...you only see it up close-ish. I really do love these shoes though, I’ve had them for a couple weeks and they feel great. Buy them.

Good summer shoe -
I just got a pair of classic Vans, which I love. When I saw these I thought they looked like cool shoes to wear around the pool. I was right. My only criticism is that they're a bit flimsy. For the money. I expected a better-made shoe. Still, I do like them.

Shoe of the summer -
It goes without saying Zappos had perfect customer service. That’s why I’m on my 20th pair probably from them. These shoes I think weight less than air:) super comfortable. Great looking, I’ve got lots of compliments from day 1. My prediction is that there going to be the shoe of the summer.

We really appreciate it! Your company is terrific. Great products, great service, and a return policy that can't be beat. I always check Zappos first to see if I can get our shoes there. I only go elsewhere if you don't happen to have a particular style, which doesn't happen often! Now that you sell all white New Balance sneakers (and I love how well that brand fits and holds up), I know where I'm going to get all of my daughter's school shoes! You already had the Sperry dusty bucks (another great brand), but with Zappos selling both of her uniform shoes, we're set with Zappos. And you almost always have the sizes in stock, so I can buy the next two sizes for her, since her feet seem to grow so fast! Therefore I always have the next size ready for her.
