This shoe rocks! Globe makes the most comfortable and best looking skate shoes out there. I will buy the same shoe in another color, and sport 2 pairs of this shoe.

These shoes are perfect. I ordered these shoes on a Saturday night or Sunday morning, and I got them two days later via a free overnight shipping upgrade. These shoes are undoubtedly my favorite pair of shoes, the life of them did not seem to last too long because the inside heel area on my black/cobalt lightning ones wore down pretty fast, but its hard to find a combination of comfort and life span so id say for the comfort of these its well worth the life span. There is a lot of cushioning to be broken in in these shoes so of course at first they will feel small to size.

These shoes are great. I have a really wide foot & these shoes are super comfy. The ankle support and heel support is amazing (I'm a popper/bboy) and these do the best job at supporting than any other shoe I've tried in the last few years. Only downside is virtually no arch support, but that can be fixed with some quality inserts.

These shoes are great but be warned if you have bought other shoes from globe they may have been a tad bigger despite the same size description. Still nice and comfy though, great for riding.

The only bad thing about these shoes is that they have no tongue. Other than that they look good and feel good but also kinda to puffy, IE: too much on top. So if you like this type of shoe then great but for me I like to be able to have a tongue on my shoe.

La La La... I love my shoes!!!
Okay... picture this: 32 year old man with a muscular build whose nickname is Killer and sports a lengthy goatee singing, "La la la, I love my shoes", over and over again. My husband says these are THE most comfortable shoes EVER!!! He wants me to buy 3 pairs for future use. I hope they never stop making these... finally a truly awesome shoe.

Tech, But Feels Plain -
These shoes fit very snugly in the toes. I need to stretch mine out in the toe box in order for them to fit me more comfortably. The midsole feels very regular and is not by any means unique or superior to any other brand's midsole designs. The tongue and collar are connected into one piece, which means you'll need your hands to pull them on; the upside to this design is that you won't need to tie your laces tightly in order for your shoes to stay on your feet. I ordered the Black/Cobalt lightning version, which looks like a design that came from the 1980s; I like the design, but would've preferred to have gotten the White/Grey colorway or even the Gears of War one. By the way, don't be fooled by Globe's complicated and excessive description wordings: "TPR ollie reinforcement" means that the ollie area of the shoe should have "Thermal Plastic Rubber" for extra protection. However, in the case of the Fusions, only a miniscule strip lines edge of the ollie area (look closely in the pics where the first lace holes are). "Hidden lacing option" means there should be an alternate lacing system for protecting your laces against rippage. But again, in the case of the Fusions, only first lace holes provide this feature, which by the way doesn't do much. "...Unique combination of breathable mesh, lycra, and Micro P materials" really means that only a small part underneath the tongue has some lycra lined on it. Everywhere else on the shoe's lining material seems to be built just like any other skate shoe. As for "Micro P”, I assume means micro-perforations, but they seem to be more for aesthetics rather than functionality. Only the top of the toe, some on the side, and the very top of the tongue have these perforations. Overall, these shoes are very tech looking, but feel very plain when they're on your feet. I simply wish they really did have more TPR on the toes and that maybe Globe could've featured some type of Gel system in the midsoles for better shock absorbtion.

Globe Fusion in lieu of Globe Focus -
Since my favorite Globe Focus shoe (Black/Caramel) is no longer available I decided to try to Fusion. It is as comfortable as my favorites and the look is not the same, but not bad either.

Like another reviewer here, I used to wear the Globe RMS. Subtle, clean, and comfortable. At first I didn't like the one piece tongue design, and I still think it’s a little too poofy, but if you lace them right, you just put them on like a pair of slippers.

Awesome shoes -
When I first opened up these shoes, they looked a bit funky in the cushioning along the tongue of the shoe. And the insoles felt very hard and uncomfortable. BUT! I laced them up and put them on. Looks are very misleading... these are some of the more comfortable skate shoes I have bought. I'm a big guy (6'-0" 240 lbs) and I thought the hard insole might be an issue. Nothing could be further from the truth. The hidden lacing feature is a huge plus.

Awesome shoe. The only issue I have is that right at the end of the lacing, it feels a LITTLE tight on my toes sometimes, but that's it and a very minor thing, but not even there all the time. Incredibly comfortable, I can wear these all day long, which is a rare thing for me. I got the Gears version which looks great. Definitely love this shoe though, only second to the Sabre for overall look and feel.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my son and he said they fit well and were very comfortable. He only wears Globe shoes (as they wear very well) and wondered where I found this shoe. I completely trust Zappos and had no qualms about possibly having to exchange them because of any size issue. Fortunately I didn't have to.

I bought these shoes for my 6'3" teenager to work in. He found them true to size and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend them.

This shoe feels great while I skate. It holds up to extreme use. The tongue is perfect because it's thick & doesn't slide around. It looks cool and it's my favorite shoe ever.

Great product, great service.
First off, I have to say that the service I received on Zappos was the best. Not only was it the best, the shoe was in my possession within 3 days. The comfort of the shoe (Globe Fusion) is flawless and the style is awesome!! Whether you're skating or just wearing 'em for the look and feel, this is the shoe that you want. I'm very picky about shoes. I have been wearing skate shoes since the late 80's. Now-a-days skate shoes are very ugly and flashy. The Globe Fusion shoe is perfect. It is comfortable, simple and durable. Happy I finally found a new pair of shoes that I really like.

Probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.
I have always been a fan of Globe shoes and I know what size I am so this was easy. This is the most comfortable Globe I have ever tried on. This shoe has a really cool attached tongue so you can slip your foot in and be supported regardless of the laces. If you get the white/grey combo, they can be easily cleaned with a little SoftScrub and will look new for a long time.

Wonderful shoe -
I bought my husband these shoes and I am so impressed with the shoe. The tongue on the shoe is actually connected to the shoe which keeps the shoe tight. These are wonderful shoes and I will plan to buy more after these get trashed. Thanks Zappos for always carrying wonderful shoes.
