After breaking them in...
Zappos sent the shoes to me within two days. Unfortunately, someone stole them off of my porch. Zappos refunded my money and gave me a discount towards the next pair. I reordered the shoes and had them sent to a more secure place. The initial wearing of these shoes was torture. Since there is elastic on the back of the shoe, it digs into the Achilles tendon, which we know can be painful. The shoe is very pretty, feminine, and comfortable. And thank goodness that after breaking them in, using a bandaid as a cushion, I wear them often and like them very much. They are worth it. Lastly, I work in a hospital doing rounds and up on my feet most of the day and these shoes hold up in comfort and durability... again well worth it.

I'm not sure if it's the tension of the elastic the rigid heel back, or a combination of both, but these are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I've been wearing them regularly (to work for 9 hours straight, walking out and about) for the past 3 months in the hopes that I would eventually break them in but no luck so far. Every wear my feet are in such massive throbbing pain (especially the heels), and I've tried everything! Gel pads, heel pads, moleskin. Plus I even got them a half size bigger. I honestly don't know what else I can possibly do. SUCH A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Unfortunate since these flats are super cute.

Great Shoe!
This is a terrific flat! I highly recommend it. It is cute, comfortable and very well-made. IMPORTANT ADVICE: These do run small, so I strongly suggest ordering a half-size larger than you normally wear in flats. I ordered my usual size (6.5). The shoes were so cute that (against my better judgment) I went ahead and wore them out, even though they were somewhat uncomfortably tight. I thought they'd loosen up, and they still might, but I think a 7 would have been perfect. Remember, you can always return/exchange if they don't work out. I will probably order these in other colors (but I'll definitely get a 7!).

These cute flats are great! I had been looking a long time for a pair of flats that would fit my narrow feet and these were a savior. They not only look good but they fit good as well. The only draw back I had with these are for the first couple of weeks that I had them they hurt my heel... it was almost like they were digging into my skin. But after a couple wears the feeling went away. If you have narrow feet these fashionable flats are for you!!

I fell in love with these shoes the minute I saw them - and bought the Blue/Purple metallic - very unique color. They were great for the first few wears, but now they will not stay on my feet. They drive me nuts and flip off my heels when I walk. I did not find them to fit small - I am always an 8 1/2 in Clarks and that’s what I bought - and I did not find the elastic digs in - if anything, there isn't enough tension in the elastic. Very disappointing - they are now a cute closet ornament.

Positively adorable shoe!!! I am so glad I decided to order these. Most ballet flats hurt the front of my foot, but not these. The elastic that goes all the way around makes them feel so comfy. I also love the bow in the front and they just look really pretty on. I ordered the red and am very glad I did. Definitely order a 1/2 size up.

I ordered the black and it came as a blue-ish purple. That seems to be the "black" for this shoe. Very cute shoe, not bad color but if you need a real black shoe- this won't do.

Finally found flats I can wear!
Until now, every pair of flats I have tried has hurt my feet somehow. I did put some stick on pads in the shoe behind my heel because they rubbed a little, and they have been very comfy ever since. If I wear them all day my feet do feel kind of tired, but maybe that's because I'm not used to flat shoes. Since most other reviewers said they had to wear a 1/2 size larger, I ordered both my size and the next size up. Turned out to be a smart move since I actually did need a 1/2 size larger. Overall, I love them and wish they came in white for the summer!

So cute, but...
I loved these shoes from the second I saw them, and I was hoping that splurging the extra dough would guarantee me some comfort, but alas... the left shoe always slips off my foot in the back making it hard to walk. The right one is absolutely perfect, however. I also had to put some Dr. Scholl’s inserts in the bottom because the first day when I wore them all across campus, the logo stitching on the bottom rubbed my heel the wrong way. I ordered black, but they are really more of a metallic dark gray - still very cute.

Fabulous shoes -
After reading some other reviews, I was a little weary of purchasing the correct size, and I was scared of the back hurting my heel. So I purchased my size and a half size up to compare fit. I ended up sticking with my size. I believe these are supposed to fit snug. Also, the back of the shoe does hurt a little, but I purchased Dr. Scholl's heel pads. They are little clear pads that stick on the inside of your shoe. I have to say, these are now super comfy and fit perfect. Excellent shoe!

I love these flats! The fit is perfect and they're very cute and stylish. They can be worn with almost anything. Most importantly, they've never given me a blister!

Ouch - watch out!
These are cute and comfortable at the very first, but watch out! I wore them and as soon as I went a little way, the elastic started to dig into my feet. I actually had to borrow shoes for the rest of the day because these were so painful.

I kept them...
...But I'm not sure why. They're ugly, fit is ok, comfort is iffy for standing a long time or shopping. I guess I'm just hoping that I will grow to like them.

This has the potential to be the cute, versatile, goes-with-everything, priced-to-own-in-every-color and "Look! I can walk in them!" shoe. But they are not comfortable to me. The back is far too high and digs into my heel. Good padding, though.

Not a deep red -
I was looking for the perfect red flat and was excited when I saw that Clarks Indigo brand had one available. I have worn several of Clarks styles with success. For this flat, the fit is snug, but for a ballerina this is to be expected, and in time this snugness will keep them from slipping off as you walk. Clark produces shoes of fine quality, good leather, design and longevity. Normally, Clarks are a great shoe to wear if you are planning on a long day of walking. However this shoe was different. Other than it being completely flat with zero arch support, two things got to me; 1) I wasn't fond of the extra fringe beneath the bow in the front. Charming to some, but to me it was plain tacky, and not executed well, 2) the color was not as deep red (Chinese red, or fire engine red) as I had hoped, but more bright with an orange tint. Because of this, I am returning them and still in search of the perfect red flat. The Pallino has appeal, and this choice is probably more a matter of taste then anything. It's great that Zappos has an excellent return policy so I can feel good about continuing my search.

Cute and versatile, but not so comfortable -
It runs small, so you should order at least half size larger. I usually wear size 5 at Clarks, but for this, I went with 5.5. After wearing them for a day now, I think maybe I should've got 6. My left foot is bigger than the right and it's pinching my left toes a little bit. I'm also wearing band-aids as they dig into the back of my heels. I hope they stretch over time and get more comfy. Other than that, I'm very happy with the look of this shoe. I got the blue ones and they're super cute with skinny jeans. I'm going to wear them with the springy skirt tomorrow!

I just received this shoe. I ordered the Indigo Blue color (it's purple - not blue). The shoe is sassy and comfortable. I think I'll be ordering other colors. As always, Zappos is the BEST in terms of delivery and choice.

Love these shoes -
Very cute and comfy. Great for jeans and casual skirts. I have a bunion on one foot but it still fit great with no pain. The leather's soft and it hugs my foot. These shoes're pretty tight but still comfy. I actually like the fit look and feel. The back does hurt the first day but I think it will get better after wears. Will buy in more colors.

Shoes are very cute and stylish, but I bought these as a comfort shoe seeing as though I mostly wear heels. The elastic in the back of the shoe really hurts if you don’t wear a bootie or sock with them.

I absolutely love these shoes. I bought them for an upcoming vacation. They are extremely comfortable and fit true to size. I will be looking to purchase them in every other color that is available. You can't go wrong with this shoe.

Very cute, but not perfectly comfortable shoe -
I will still wear this shoe when I want a cute red flat, but it's not nearly as comfortable as it looks like it should be. To me, it looked like it should be like a soft leather glove encasing my foot. Instead it's a little harder leather and feels a little short, but I like it: just recommend you order it 1/2 size larger.
