The "Ecco Performance Royal Park Light II" is quality-made. It fits well, looks good, and is comfortable from the start. It was the only shoe I wore on a recent guided tour in Central Europe, even wearing it to a concert by the Vienna Residence Chamber Orchestra in Palais Auersperg. With this shoe on, your walk is sure and steady, and there is plenty of traction. I don't know if this shoe would be an ideal choice for vigorous fitness walking or not. I suspect that you might want a little more cushioning than this shoe provides. But, at least for walking substantial distances at a moderate pace, this is a fine shoe. I am seventy-one and in good health. I exercise by vigorous walking (wearing a Brooks running shoe), bicycling, and Nordic Track.

Super comfortable shoes and good looking.I had tried Eccos before, but I never liked their designs. I thought that comfortable and durable shoes had to have no sense of style or come in really loud colors.Not so with these, the look is understated and they can be worn with jeans or khakis. But the best part is the comfort: These are the most comfortable shoes I've tried in a long time, so much so that I don't want to take them off. They feel true to size and are a good fit for a medium width foot.

Finding the right shoe for me has become a life quest! I spend eight hours a day five days a week working on a cement floor. Your feet sure take a lot of abuse! My shoes are so important that having the wrong shoe can lead to back, knee, ankle, hip and even neck problems! This is why Zappos is the best! I'm very busy and don't have many options where I live to purchase shoes. I can order with Zappos and receive my shoes next day and if for whatever reason I don't approve, Zappos takes them back at no cost to me! This is the only way to buy shoes! Thanks Zappos!

These shoes felt great when I first put them on and they feel even better after wearing them for a week. Lightweight and comfortable. Have roomy forefoot. My flat feet feel fine in these shoes. The sole is flexible, but thick enough for normal daily wear. For extensive walking when sightseeing, I'd want a thicker sole. My third pair of Ecco shoes and I will be buying more.

This is a very comfortable shoe. It feels good the first time you put it on. It is lightweight and so does well on long walks. Ten miles or more is not a problem. I have never felt like I couldn\'t wait to get my shoes off.\r\n\r\nI had a lace loop break on my first pair but this seems to have been an anomaly. They were replaced by Zappos.\r\n

I have walked in these and been on the airplane with them on and in both cases it is almost like not having shoes on. How good is that?

My Great Move -
I have been buying Brooks shoes locally, but during a recent visit to the store, I was ignored by the clerks and even the owner, so I walked out intending to shop at another store. When I told my Wife my sad story, she told me about Zappos and also about the Ecco shoes she purchased. I decided to try them and once I put them on, I rarely took them off. So far, they're great. Due to bad weather, I haven't had much of a chance to do outside walking (we have dogs and try to walk them regularly), but my experience so far has been great. Not only am I thrilled with the shoes, I'm also thrilled w/ my experience with Zappos and will definitely shop Zappos in the future.

A bit pricey, but time will determine the value. If they last a good year to two years, it will be difficult to complain. They are spiffy, nonetheless. Zappos was beyond prompt in shipping; ordered regular mail and received the shoes 2 days later. I have never been disappointed dealing with this company.

Light and comfortable -
These are very good looking shoes, very light and comfortable. High quality materials inside and out. I have other Ecco shoes and have experienced lasting performance. For Ecco, I wear one size smaller than for American shoes. Shoe sizes are consistent between styles.

I had to call my husband to make sure it was just last night I ordered my Asics shoes, as I found them in my garage when I got home from work today! What is up with that??? I'm wearing my new shoes now, and LOVE them. They are actually the second pair I purchased from you. I'm turning my previous ones into every day shoes, and saving the new pair for working out.
