I have been buying my shoes at Zappos, but happened to be in Shopko today and picked up a pair of these 605s. I've really been having problems finding shoes to fit my wide foot. It seems in the past that I could get by with a D width, but E was just fine. I've ordered a number of different shoes that were supposed to be wide, but on some I couldn't even get my foot in. Now it seems I must have a 4E compared to just E a couple of years ago? Also the size has gone up from 7.5 to 8.5. I'm 70 and my feet aren't growing, so what's happening? Well, these fit fine and are comfortable so maybe we have to order everything larger now?

This New Balance shoe is incredible. Comfortable with great support, can walk for miles with these. Size and width were accurate. New Balance makes quality products.

Perfect for 4E feet - hard to find shoes wide enough for my son's hill tribe feet. These are perfect! They are wider and cushier than other NB models. Trust me, we've tried tons of shoes and most were too narrow (even though they were 4E). I'm so happy about these that I bought 3 more pairs in the next sizes up so I'll have them on hand for the future.

I had been looking for a nice walking sneaker with a suede upper. I have wide feet and I went with New Balance because of their wide range of sizes. After trying the MW748, MW628, and MW645, I found this shoe fit me best. These seem a little short and I ended up ordering a half size larger than normal. My feet measure a 4E width and these don't feel too snug. Overall they're very comfortable and look great. Very satisfied!!

These are 4th or 4th NB shoes that I have ordered from Zappos. These were a little tighter than usual, but Zappos offered a larger replacement immediately. The larger size broke in well in about a day, and I have very happy them.

Happy with the shoe -
Very comfortable shoe, I generally find most New Balance shoes to fit me. I use this shoe for trail hikes and for my work as a contractor. My feet are not tired at the end of the day like they can be with other, heavier boots.

Very light shoe -
First, Zappos' shipping and delivery is fantastic! Best in the world, IMHO! This is a very light weight shoe, I bought the pair to wear to work and I'm very happy with them. Comfortable from the first day, no break-in period. Shoe is better than the description reads. Also, just read about Zappos' warehouse robots, a genius idea! Zappos needs to advertise this innovation.

Runs small and narrow compared to other NB shoes -
These shoes were noticeably shorter and narrower than other New Balance shoes in the same size. I reordered in a half size larger and they were still a bit snug in the width, but they loosened up in a couple of wearings and are now very comfortable.

Nice looking, but they hurt my feet so much I've quit wearing them. I work in the medical field, so I'm on my feet most of the day. These feel like I’m wearing wooden sole shoes. The first week I wore them to work, I had to take breaks in order to remove the shoes and let my feet recover. I’m really disappointed. Historically, New Balance has been my favorite brand. My M85s are worn-out but they still feel better than the 605s.

Usually I wear size 9.5 but with this one I had to go 10 and I'm glad I did. Very comfortable shoe. I have had excellent success with New Balance. I am one whose feet sway a bit to the outside when I walk, thus, I highly recommend the right NB running or walking shoe.

Comfortable, good looking and good quality. They got soaking wet the same day under heavy rain, and after they dried like they never got wet.

NB MW605 -
Starting to break these in-appear to be very comfortable, lots of support. Finding more and more that NB shoes are inconsistent in sizing and width in particular, though this one was pretty true to width.

As with all of the NB shoes I have purchased, I have yet to be disappointed. I always tell people to get New Balance, now I can tell them where there is a good outlet for them.

My husband and his flat feet...
Okay, so he doesn't like the style as much as he liked his other tennis shoes, but he's got big, huge, flat pained feet and the New Balance 600 series are all that seems to work for him. If you have a picky foot, then this one may just work for you.

Very good shoe!
From the first time on this pair of NB's were very comfortable. It only took about a day and a half of work duty to have them broken in a little. Fit was good even for my narrow foot. Can wear these all day and then some. Thanks Zappos.

So far- so good. I have had good luck with NB. I have a wide foot with high instep and NB has been very comfortable.
