I bought these for a hiking trip out in Utah. I only wore them around the house before I left and 80 (rough) miles later, my feet still felt like a million dollars! These were great on some pretty rugged terrain and some seriously slippery slopes. I totally recommend them for on and off trail. AWESOME. And Zappos rocks too.

I LOVE this shoe. You know, the way you love it when you find a shoe that looks great at the same time it fits feet that are difficult to fit. Granted, it is not a spacious shoe, but it wraps round a narrow instep, accommodates a wide toe spread, is supple, and stays on my heel. As I walk, I can feel the road grip (a great sensation for someone who struggles with peripheral neuropathy!). I put these on and wore them for the day without repercussion when I took them off at night, and that continues to be so. I was so pleased that I ordered the only other color combo available.

Just what I wanted – a lightweight walking shoe that could handle some easy hiking, in a warm climate. Fills the bill, not as big and clunky as a hiking boot.

New Balance are the best sneakers for the money. I usually buy the 790's but this style is a new favorite. Most comfortable sneakers out there.

Like a Good Running Shoe, Well-Cushioned, Comfortable -
I have had trouble finding good hiking and trail shoes, so was very pleased to find these. They fit and wear like a regular running shoe, and really FLEX at the midsole so there is no rubbing and tugging on the heel by the back of the shoe when bouncing off the ball of the foot. The heel is narrow enough to hold firmly. My ideal shoe would have a slightly higher back (hugging higher on the heel of the foot) and a wider toe box. The toe box is sufficiently wide without socks, but with socks I have to wear "corn pads" on my little toes, but the rest of the shoe is the best I've found for my fit and requirements, so I am ordering another color.

 |  | Thank you Zappos and team! I waited til the last minute to order my shoes that I needed for a wedding in less than a week. I do a lot of online shopping, so no doubt I would be ordering my shoes online. I didn't see anything I wanted the first time I went to Zappos. So, I checked different sites, saw a couple of shoes that I liked, but I needed my shoes in a matter of days. Other sites had express shipping, but it was wayyyy too expensive. So, something told me to try Zappos again to see if they had anything I liked, plus they always have free shipping and just about every time I have ordered, they have upgraded my shipping to overnight, FOR FREE! So I filtered out the different shoes, and wow, I found the Promiscuous Beautiful shoe (for shoes are dear to my heart). I went ahead and ordered, and of course, they upgraded me to next day for free. WOW! That's not the kicker though. I received my shoes, and they fit, but, they just fit. Personally, I don't like my heel to touch the back, I like to have a little room in the back. I called on Saturday, told the guy I needed my shoes by that Thursday. Don’t you know he said Zappos takes a leap of faith and exchanges without having the first shoe back. I was so impressed. So, my shoes will be here today and I am so grateful for these shoes, and Beautiful has the 4 inches I love and are no doubt, comfortable. Thanks Zappos.com.
