Not sized small -
The description of these shoes said they run a full size too small and to order one size up. I ordered a size up and they are way too big. Have to return.

Love these shoes. I wore them out of the store. I never buy white or ivory shoes... These are my first! The raw silk with rope can be dressed up or down. They are perfect for Spring/Summer. I came on line today to purchase another pair for this year (as I have gotten them dirty, I work at a school and on my feet a lot). I wear a size 8 the bottom of my shoe says 39. They do stretch 'just enough' to be comfortable.

Cute but uncomfortable toe area -
Had to return these because toe area is really uncomfortable - the knot & edges press down on toe tips. But Zappos is great as usual. With free shipping both ways (usually offered), you really can't lose. And when they upgrade your shipping for free, you get them even faster than usual which is also very nice.

But it KILLS my big toes! The leather at the peep toe digs in. Otherwise, such a cute shoe and comfortable everywhere else. Sadly, I had to return. The ivory silk color is gorgeous.

Probably as good as you'll get -
For those of you looking for a sling-back espadrille, you know how hard it is to find a pair where the strap doesn't keep falling off or the peep toe it too tight. These aren't perfect -but they are the best I could find and I've purchased several. Occasionally, the strap will slide off if you get walking into a fast pace, but not consistently. The height and cushion are very comfy for an every day casual shoe.

I chose Eric Michael's Janice shoe because it was reasonably priced for a trendy look. So far this has been a comfortable shoe. I chose it over a couple of other sling-back shoes because the back strap stays put. I have a narrow heel and many other shoes that aren't adjustable will not stay on. I wish it had come in a more exciting combination of colors like the Naturalizer shoe I also tried. But, all in all, this is a good shoe for the money.
