Cute shoe. A bit tight, especially at the open toe, but I believe it will stretch with wear. 38 (8.5-9) was good for a true 8.5.

Other reviewers are correct in that the shoe runs on the narrow side and fit me properly by going one size up. The first time I wore them for a long time I got a blister on top of the 2nd and 4th toes on the right foot only. A spot band aid and then later candle waxing the area on the shoe fixed the problem for me. Now the shoe fits quite well and is very comfortable to wear all day. Plus they look great and have gotten many compliments on this shoe.

Love this shoe! It’s cute, comfortable, and I get lots of compliments on it - especially the bow. Buying bigger than normal fit perfectly. Will buy from Zappos again.

Cute -
Very pretty espadrille can't wait for it to warm up so I can wear it with sundresses and jeans. Insole is comfortable. I'm an exact 7.5 and the size 38 was perfect for me.

Love these shoes. I wore on vacation without breaking in and had no problem. They look great with both capris and dresses. I did as suggested and bought one size up (usually wear size 8).

A little tight -
I got the size 39 which was supposed to fit 8.5 to 9 but it was too tight so I returned them and I am waiting for my size 40's to get here...keeping my fingers crossed because they are so cute!

Not so comfy espadrille -
I saw and fell in love with the Eric Michael’s Paloma in a shoe store. Not having my size I went to Zappos. They did not have the style in the color I wanted, so I thought I’d try a similar style. This one was not as comfortable as the Paloma. I have a high arch, and I felt the top of the shoe digging into my foot. Cute, and probably better off for someone with no arches and narrower feet.

Beautiful shoe at a blistering price!
I was so excited when I got these shoes, I tried them on and they were perfect. Well that is until I went to walk in them. They rubbed blisters on the bottom of my feet. I let the blisters heal and thought I would give them another try and guess what? Two more blisters. Be aware, beautiful shoe at a blistering price!!

These shoes are nice looking, however, a tad uncomfortable. As with all high wedge shoes, the problem is in the front on the balls of your feet. Shoes with high wedge heels should make the front of the shoes equal to or close to the height of the back of the shoes. I've been wearing 4 - 5" wedges since the 60s. They made a better shoe then, where the heel height met the toe height all the way across. Much more comfortable to walk in and the look was just as great. Otherwise, they're o.k.

Fit -
I loved the look of the shoe. The sage silk was very stylish. I am reluctantly sending them back because of the fit. I am a solid 4.5 C. I ordered a size up based on the recommendation but it was too big. I had 1/2 inch on the back end and the shoes would not stay on. The width was fine which is not always the case with my hard to fit foot.

So comfortable. And was able to wear them without breaking in. However, I did listen to Zappos reviews and order a size bigger. Glad I did. They run smaller

Love them. I loved the shoe, but it only came in a 4.5-5 and I'm a true 4.5 so they were a little big, but ok.

Rockin the Roxy -
I purchased the Eric Michael’s Roxy a month ago and I was a little leery of the shoe originally simply because it was a little tight on my foot and I had already gone up a size from what I normally wear. However, I'm glad that I kept it because it fits beautifully now and has become one the most comfortable shoes I own. It is very stylish. I purchased the sage green which goes with almost all my casual outfits. Anyway, if you are going to get this shoe, understand you will have to break it in. I broke mine in by wearing them while I watched TV. Overall, I have been happy with this shoe and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish casual summer shoe.

Looks Can Be Deceiving -
I fell in love with the shoe because of the look - to be honest it is not a very comfortable shoe, I am hoping once it gets a little broken in it will feel better, but it does look great.

More beautiful than they appear -
This shoe makes your foot look small, contained and lovely. The material is very classy, and the fit is nice and snug without being tight.

Great platform espadrille that can be casual and dressy. I purchased the green and it goes with everything. Love the fabric. Typical European sizing so it runs small for my California foot.

Oh I sooo wanted these to work. They are so cute and the height of the wedge doesn't hurt my legs but the sling back was too too too tight. There was no way to make the back looser.
