Cute, but very high back -
These shoes are really adorable - perfect to dress up or down any outfit. The down side is that the back of the shoe is really high, so I ended up returning it because I do a lot walking and need very comfortable shoes that don't rub.

This is a really precious shoe, and very comfortable. However, the sole is not very sturdy. It is not meant for hard daily wear and tear. Save it for low stress uses!

These shoes seemed great. They hurt the back of my heel. I changed sizes but the back of the shoe still hurt my heel. Yes even with low cut sock it still hurt the back of my heel. I will have to return them yet again and maybe try a different style.

These are really comfortable. The insole is a lot like Privo, good support. This style is so different from other flats on the market with the stitching and "tucked" leather across the top. There is also a touch of metallic to make it stylish. I'm wearing as a casual shoe for the summer, but it will also be a good transitional shoe. Lately all my shoes are Clarks brands. As long as they keep coming up with innovative styles and keep the comfort I'm in.

I have zero complaints about the Clarks Funky Star. They are now officially the most comfortable shoes that I own. They are the perfect marriage of comfort and style. Generally, my friends and family don't like my choice of shoes. But, they all loved these. I would wear them everyday if I could. I'm definitely going to get them in brown too.

The other reviewers are right about the shoe being stiff against the ankles. The size was right, and other than the rubbing on the back of the ankle, they're really comfortable. I'm hoping that breaking them in will help. Very cute shoe.

Cute shoe, funky fit. Try heel cushions!
I love the look, but I have to agree with everyone saying the back of the shoe is too high. I found something that worked for me and improved the comfort tremendously: I bought some heel cushions and placed them UNDER the inner sole. It gave me enough lift in the heel so I can wear the shoes comfortably, but not have to worry about the heel cushions slipping around with the movement of my foot. If you needed more, you could probably add another heel cushion. When I first got them, I fell in love with the look, but thought I may have to return them because of how they fit. Once I started messing around with heel cushions and other foot comfort aids, I decided to keep them.

These are so cute in person, but like some of the other reviewers, the heel was way too high for me. They seemed comfortable otherwise, but I can't imagine they would ever get broken in with the heel.

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I own a few pair of Clarks but these are the best! I gave it an overall 4 star score because the back of the shoe is very stiff. I have a blister from the rubbing. I know this will ease with time. I'll just have to wear them for shorter periods of time. Otherwise...this is a GREAT shoe!!!!

Very cute, but a bit too wide and too long. The shoe is so deep the sides rub into my ankles. Very uncomfortable. No way I could keep these shoes, although they do have a great arch and total foot support.

Great shoe! Looks great with the support I need. Regarding size, runs pretty true to size, they were a little tight in the beginning but they stretched out after a day.

This shoe looks nicer than it feels. There is a place that rubs the top of the foot, the same on both sides. The length and width feel fine although a little short with my orthotics in. The style is cute and can be dressed up or down.

Ouch!
I read the reviews on this shoe before purchasing and chose to ignore them because the shoes were just too darn cute. Well I am returning them today for the same reasons everyone else says, they rub against the back of the heel. I only wore them around the house for about an hour or so and my feet were in agony. I wanted too much to keep these shoes, but I don't think I could wear them even once outside the house.

Cute, But...
I LOVED the look of these shoes, but like others said, the heel is either too deep or the back of the shoes go up too high. It was super uncomfortable and a major draw back. I have to return them because of this... so sad...

Cute Shoe - I really like the styling and the leather is soft. Both dark brown and black look good. It is nice and wide, which is good for me because I have a wide toe spread. I ordered a half size large as suggested, but it was too big. I also ordered my regular size, which was just about right. The reason I'm returning them, though, is the back seam. It's too high for me; reaches all the way up to my Achilles tendon, also has inadequate overall support for me, especially the arch. I have high arches and pronation. The insole is slightly padded and comfy.

Very Cute -
These shoes are even cuter in person than they look on-line. Very roomy in the toe box, which is usually a problem for me. The heel seems to be a little too deep, resulting in some major rubbing in the heel. I'm still working with them (heel pads, inserts, etc) and hope it works out cuz they are SOOO cute.

Cute, but had to return them -
Despite being a very cushy and seemingly comfortable shoe, the body of the shoe is too wide to stay securely on my foot. The back also dug into my heel. Unfortunately I had to return them.
