Best Shoe I've found -
I am a moderate to excessive over pronator and I use orthotics. I run about 25 miles per week. This is the 2nd pair of Saucony Grids I've used. I had the Grid Omni Moderate previously and liked them, just recently got the Ultimate and it is the best shoe I've yet run in. As long as these are available, I have no need to look for anything else!

I am a moderate overpronator and I think these shoes are quite nice... very supportive while remaining squishy enough to not jar my body with every step. They are fugly as death eating an onion sandwich, but they serve the purpose. I rotate these with my Asics Gel Kayanos. Good shoe.

I was fitted with these at a running specialty store. I ran in them for about 2 months. They made my whole body feel the pounding of the road with every step! So I went back to my Asics 2100. Thinking my favorite shoes may still be out there somewhere--I have since tried Pearl Izumi sycro-pace (they are fine) Supernova control, (they are fine) so now I rotate running between all of them EXCEPT the Omni 5. If you need cushion don't waste your money on these....try Something else.

For runners, not fashionistas -
After having decided to start running again after having stopped for ten years to destroy my body skateboarding, I bought these shoes as a quick fix for mixed-terrain running on vacation. I was fitted with these by a very knowledgeable salesman at a running/orthopedics oriented store who analyzed my feet and my gait and came to the sorrowful conclusion that I have become a "severe overpronator" at 27. These shoes are very comfortable and give me unequaled support for my low arches. The fit and performance of these shoes is quite good, and the materials and construction approach the state of the art, but I will likely never wear them in public while not running. They are, as some other reviewers have noted, not the most attractive shoes, although they look fine if you are actually running in them. These shoes would much better with some different colorways, maybe with a gray sole, charcoal upper, and some little blue or red accents on the upper, but runner shoe designers seem determined to make running shoes as unappealing to the fashionistas as possible. Why the shiny gold Saucony logo and orangey/mustard-colored accents?! Saucony shoes that sell for a quarter of the price look much better, but I suppose aesthetics are not the point of this fine pair of running shoes.

I have had a severe case of shin splints. It turned out to be caused by the 120 dollar sneakers I was using for running only were not supportive at all. I recently picked up these Saucony omni 5's and felt a difference in both my running/walking posture the first 5 minutes I put them on. Good correction for low arches also...

Great tennis shoe -
I started running a few months ago and the shoes that I was using were for walking, so I ordered these tennis shoes and since the first time I used them I could really tell the difference. They are very comfortable and great for jogging.

New Runner -
This is the first running shoe I have purchased but so far am very happy. It fits my foot well and is comfortable. I cannot compare it to any other running shoe, but since I am new to running my legs are sore but my feet remain fine. I would recommend this shoe to someone with a moderate arch and mild pronation.

I did not know that there was a very bright metallic looking design on each shoe. I that were clear in the picture, I would not have ordered that particular shoe.
