The GTS 8 does a good job in accommodating my narrow width foot, is light weight and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone in search of a well made and comfortable running/walking shoe.

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS8 was one of the shoes recommended by our podiatrist for exercise/walking/running. Very satisfied. Comfortable and has good support. Zappos service is unbeatable.

Same as it ever was. Outstanding Shoe! If you've worn the GTS before, you don't need this review. This is the latest version of the same bullet-proof, consistently-sized GTS that has carried me through seven marathons. I'm on my fifth pair, starting with the GTS 4. My usual size fit like a glove and ran well right out of the box. Everything I've come to expect.

I used to wear NB only until I purchased my first pair of Adrenalines about two years ago. I tried NB recently again and, after two wearings, ordered this pair from Zappos. I couldn't be happier. Well, I'm not real fond of the shiny pieces on the sides (I'm too old for that kind of stuff!). Bottom line, they're comfortable, great support, allow great airflow, etc. I recommend them for anyone who wants a little more comfort. I would also like to recommend Zappos. I purchase almost all I can online. Zappos is one of the best vendors I've dealt with. They ship fast, have great communications, and the best prices. This is my third purchase from Zappos and I plan on many more.

I am recovering from broken metatarsals (4th and 5th). After removing my cast I found it difficult to walk in any of my shoes but glad to have these. They are the most comfortable shoes I have. I have started running after 8 months. My doc tells me to take it easy but with these shoes, I feel comfortable. I purchased another pair but those shoes made my feet hurt even after almost a year in recovery. I switched back to the Adrenaline 8. A great shoe, comfort and style! I am buying another pair before they stop making them. The only thing I think that could be improved is the lining. It seems to wear at the back near the Achilles tendon area.

Great shoe!!! I tried the Brooks Trace 8s, not so great! They wore fine for 3 miles, after that, Blaah! Blisters and sore feet! I had a pair of Adrenaline 7s before and loved them. But after about 6 months they were done! So I decided to try Adrenaline 8s. Let me tell you if you have or had a pair of Adrenaline 7s before and liked them, you'll love the new 8s. Not much change at all in the shoe, they feel and run just like the 7s. I do think that they breathe a little better that the 7s though. I'm curious to see if they last longer than 6 months too. I would definitely buy this shoe again when this pair wears out!

Bring on the Brooks!
I got fitted for this shoe five years ago at a sporting goods store and it dramatically corrected my supination problems and almost immediately eliminated my knee and hip pain. I've run five marathons in Brooks Adrenaline and I see no reason to change. The shoe is so consistent, in fact, that I just ran an 18-mile training run in a brand new pair without any problems.
I recently started using orthotics, and the shoe works perfectly with them. And I'm not sure if this is true with other running shoes, but I need to run in a wide width with these and I don't wear wide shoes anywhere else.
My only complaint: The shoe is so breathable that it makes my feet cold when I run in winter.

Better Than GTS 7 -
I almost didn't buy these because of all the complaints (on other sites, not so much here). However, after 500 miles on my GTS 7, I had no choice. For me at least, these fit a lot better and the styling is sleeker. The sizing stayed the same for me. I use them for long distance walking.

Great shoe, but the arch support is ok. My doctor warned me against shoes that do not have a solid base. Still I couldn't resist the look of this shoe in all black.

As good as the GTS7 -
I ran the 2007 Marine Corps Marathon in the GTS7s and they provided great comfort and performance. When I went to purchase a new pair, I was not happy to learn that they were discontinued. I took a chance and bought the GTS8s. They seem to be just as good, so far. I was even complimented on them the first day I wore them to the gym!

I went to this shoe from Brook's Beast. It is a little lighter but the fit is excellent for wide feet that need room mid-foot area. Support is good and so far I am really impressed.

Great shoe, love the black!
I've worn Trance and Adrenaline for many years and have always been greatly satisfied with them. I'm ecstatic that they added black to the lineup (actually added it in the GTS 7 version before this) ... it looks cool and stays 'clean' looking much longer than white-based shoes. Kudos to Brooks for great products!

I have moderately wide feet and low (not flat) arch so finding a good fit is hard as the normal shoes are too tight and the wide shoes are too loose. This shoe, in EE, was a perfect fit and is very comfortable.

Great Running Shoe -
First: Zappos is great. I placed my order yesterday and received my shoes today! I've been running in Adrenalines for 3 years and 3 versions. This is the best yet. The differences between the 7 and 8 aren't huge, but they are nice. The main thing I noticed is that the 8 has a softer ride. In the 6 and 7, I used a Sof Sole cushion insole. In the 9, I didn't need it. Additionally, it felt slightly narrower though the midfoot, which I need and like. I tried the cushion insoles, and they made the fit too tight. Finally, and most important, Brooks improved the transition and toe off. Previous versions felt almost flat on the bottom. The 8's have a nice, subtle roll, which is closer to the Saucony Trigon Guide, in which I previously ran. Nice updates all around. I plan to do my upcoming marathon training in these shoes. I'll buy another pair for the actual race. This is a great mid- to long-distance training shoe.

Good comfort and appearance, but pricey -
I would not normally buy a shoe this expensive but when I did some running tests they recommended I get a shoe designed for somebody with a little pronation. These have definitely made a difference; I ran my first (and last) marathon two years ago in a previous version of these shoes. Would never have made it without the shoe.

Comfort and Durability -
I bought Brooks in the late 70's when I was running distance in track for high school. The local store stopped selling them and it took years before I found them again at a military exchange. I got out of the military and after a number of years, found Zappos. I've been buying the GTS series for a few years now and my son, who started running a few years ago has started using them, too. We've neither had better fitting or more durable shoes. They don't stink like Nikes and don't fall apart like Adidas. We each use the older pairs for everyday use and have a pair for running. The older ones are holding up great.

Great shoe from a great brand.
I bought these shoes to wear with my suit on the way to and from work and the black pair is perfect for just that. They're also very comfortable shoes. They provide amazing cushioning and breath better than any other pair of shoes I've owned, with the possible exception of the Brooks Glycerin models. This is my third pair of Brooks and I'll keep buying them because they make such great shoes for running and walking. I don't think I'll ever go back to Nike or Adidas.

My Happy Feet!
I bought these because my old shoes were literally KILLING my feet. Walking was such a pain I'd take two steps and I'd want to start crying. I bought these with the hope they'd ease the pain and thank God I did. From the moment I put them on I knew I'd made the right decision. All my foot problems are gone. Even my back doesn't hurt anymore and I don't get foot fatigue like before. I walk a lot being here in NYC and I walk rather fast like the typical New Yorker. I can now keep up with the others dodging traffic and everything. I only wish there were a bit more padding in the front part (forefoot) of the shoe but it's not a huge problem. My feet are SO happy and now so am I.

I have worn out 5 pairs of these. They lasted about 9 - 12 months wearing them almost every day. I hope they keep making them. I also wear orthotics in them.

I personally am partial to Asics; however, these were phenomenal, they do need some getting used to, but a 2 mile run broke these in nicely.
