I tried on this and the Ryka Studio D, which is what I ended up keeping. I was getting these mainly for Zumba class. The shoe is comfortable and nimble, but there is not enough cushioning in the forefoot for all those salsa "on the toes" type moves. I also don't think the pivot spot does anything.

Great Aerobic shoe -
Very comfortable shoe. Definitely needed the extra 1/2 size larger than what I usually wear in this shoe, which seems to be the case for Nike, in general. Have to agree with some of the other reviews regarding the tongue. It just seems to be a little too short and tends to shift during workouts, but no where near a deal- breaker. It's also wider in the toe box than other shoes I've tried. I would recommend this shoe and will definitely consider it again.

LOVE THESE!!! I would have liked them even more if they would have made a little tail design in the back of the shoe...other than that they are perfect...& comfy too!! Keeps my 3 year old busy too...as I run around our yard and she pretends that she's a kitty chasing mice!!

Comfortable shoe for dance-type workouts. Ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear (based on other customer reviews) and that worked for me. I do not find that the tongue moves during the workouts. I've found this to be a great shoe for the cardio workouts I do and would recommend these.

Zumba On!
I'm a Zumba instructor and teach several classes a week. Tried Bloch, Capezio other Nike dance shoes, these are the only ones that work for my feet and remain comfortable during class.

Great dance shoe -
I bought these for bodyjam, which I do at least 3 times a week and really like them. I have trouble with shin splints and these helped ease the pain. Plus I think they look cute! The shoes are a bit short, but I prefer a tight shoe, so if you like room, order a half size larger.

I wore these right out of the box and they felt great on my feet I bought them for work. I am on my feet 8 hours a day. I have many, many comments on them on how great they look. I bought the white/black. They are more white with purple.

I bought these shoes for a Zumba class. We do a lot of jumping and wish these shoes had better cushion and arch support. However, they do allow for easy movement and pivoting on the floor.

I bought these shoes specifically for Zumba and based on the other recommendations. The first day I wore them to class my feet hurt so bad, I had to stop quite a few times to re-lace the shoes to help make them more comfortable. I've rearranged them quite a few times and they just don't work for my feet. I've noticed quite a few girls in class wearing them and I'm ready to put up a sign that I'll sell mine to someone with narrower feet.

I teach Body Vive at Golds Gym, which is a low impact cardio class. There are a lot of dance moves taking you side to side. These shoes keep my feet stable throughout the class.

Sleek yet cushy...great shoes! I ordered my regular size (7.5) in white and they are perfect. I think I will order them in black, too. As a fitness instructor for 25+ years, I realize the importance of a good fitness shoe.

I love the gray color, but was otherwise a bit disappointed in this shoe. It doesn't look as good on the foot as it does in the photos - the toe seems rounder and the shoe looks sort of puffy rather than sleek. More problematic: the tongue of the shoe is not padded at the top and digs into the foot a bit and, as other reviewers have noted, the tongue slides to the side after a short period of wearing them. I do like that the soles are designed for easy pivoting on gym floors and they offer pretty good support, but I'm going to send them back and keep looking.

I bought these for my zumba class and they relieved all of the foot and knee pain I would get during the class with my regular Nike Shox. The pivot point on the bottom allows for more movement and less resistance. Worth every penny! Fast shipping - ordered on Sunday and they were delivered on Tuesday. Very comparable price to all other stores and websites that have the Electro and Zappos is only site/store that had the gray and baby blue color I wanted.

These Nikes are a great all-around sneaker. All Nikes seem to run a half-size smaller than usual. I ordered with that in mind (half size larger than my size) and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable.

Great, but not perfect -
I bought these shoes to use for a Zumba class - because I needed shoes that provided support and cushioning, but also had a pivot point on the ball of the foot so that I can more easily twist and turn (as required for Zumba - a fantastic Latin dance aerobics class). They do provide a pivot point, and that's been wonderful. They also have pretty good cushioning. I have two main critiques. First, the arch support is not sufficient for my high arches, but because it's a close-fitting shoe, my previous arch support inserts are too big to fit well into this shoe (I've just purchased some 3/4 length slim prostep arch supports, so hopefully those will work better). Second, and more problematic, the tongue of this shoe tends to shift (generally toward the outside) repeatedly during my workout. When this happens, the shoe simply doesn't support my foot as well and this leads to ankle pain pretty quickly. I'm trying to figure out a solution for this problem now. Otherwise, however, these are great shoes for dance aerobics classes. I'm happy to have them - I just wish the tongue would stay put!
(Also, they run about a half size small, like all Nike shoes for women, in my experience).

Perfect for Fitness Dance -
This is the shoe of choice for a medium to high impact dance fitness class. They have enough bend to them to make them work well for hip hop moves and enough support and cushion for impact moves. Much better than an all leather shoe which I find is too stiff. The style is really good too with lots of color choices. This is my second pair and I would probably purchase again.

Happy in these shoes -
I have plantar fasciitis and have been struggling to find shoes that have a greater support in the arches. These are fabulous! They fit perfectly (I have a small foot). Plus, they have a lot of cushion and bounce, especially in the Shox area. I have never owned a pair of Nike Shox and now I will never go without.

I bought these shoes specifically for Zumba, but they work well for step and I have even worn them for lifting weights. They are a specialty shoe and are not suitable for running or other high impact type exercise. I love the way they look, I got the gray ones with the blue swoosh. I wish they would glide a little more smoothly on the bottom tread, the rubber of the sole sometimes gets stuck mid step. Over all a great shoe for dance fitness!
