Totally Love These Boots -
I am so excited that I decided to order these boots. They arrived Thursday but I had to return them because they had a scratch on them. I was disappointed and called customer service.The rep I spoke with was so nice and helped me through the return process. I told him I wanted to wear them that Friday and he told me it was past the 1pm time frame, but that he would try to get them to me as soon as possible. Let me tell you all, ZAPPOS is awesome!!! My replacement boots arrived that Friday early in the morning!!! I got to wear them that night as planned. I have received so many compliments and have only worn them twice. They look awesome with jeans tucked in the boot. I can't wait to put them on with skirts and dresses. I usually wear a 6.5 and got the 6, based on the reviews and was really glad I did. I did however have a hard time deciding, and glad I chose the smaller. I love boots and these seriously are already a favorite. I know they are a little expensive, but I think they are so worth it. My mom is even thinking about getting a pair. The first day I wore them my feet did hurt a bit, but the second time I had no problems. FYI, the heels on these kinds of boots will feel a little loose, but that’s a boot fit for you. If you are still deciding whether to get them, you will be so glad you did. I have purchased three other pairs of shoes (running shoes) and have only had great service. Thank you ZAPPOS!!!

Heel is wide and shoe runs 1/2 size larger than indicated. Love the look, but not loving the size.

Great pair of boots - Finally got my pair after several months of pondering. I normally wear a 7 but went with a half size smaller and they fit well. A little tight initially but compared to other boots I own, these fit well from the start. Had the tan pair for about 2 weeks or so and I can't wait until the weekend so I can wear them. Service from Zappos was great and would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Awesome boots - So worth the price. These boots are absolutely amazing. They are motorcycle style boots so your heel is meant to be a little loose while the toe is tight, which seems odd, but it's totally normal. If you have wide feet you'll probably have to get a bigger size than normal because I have pretty narrow feet and they're very snug. I don't think I'm ever taking these off. I might even wear them to bed. Perfect for Seattle's weather! Make sure you use the right leather care on them though or you'll ruin the leather! Talk to someone at Nordstrom or something, they'll point you in the right direction for the correct care of these boots.

Amazing - The boots are great, of course. They're Frye. They do slide a little in the heel and take some breaking in. Zappos customer service was incredible. I didn't like the coloring of the first pair I received, and even though nothing indicated there was any mistake, Zappos sent me a different pair, the next day, before I had even sent back the first pair!!!

I love these boots! I was settled on the Frye Harness 12R but undecided about the color. I ordered the dark crazy brown (something like that) and I'm glad I did. They turned out to be a lot lighter than expected, in areas, and the tan would have been too light. I consider my feet normal as far as foot arch and width is concerned. I ordered a 9.5 and I usually wear a 9 to 9.5 in heels, so I think these boots are pretty true to size. Heads up, they're incredibly uncomfortable off the bat because they're completely leather; no zippers or stretchy stuff to help you out. It took me 20 minutes to get them on, my boyfriend got a kick out of it.

Wow. Just ordered these 2 days ago and got them today. They are the shiznit! I have a pair of 5 year old Campus boots, but wanted something a little more 'rough and tumble' for the Fall. This boot definitely gives you that. They are so cute and sexy at the same time. Not too heavy. I ordered my regular boot size and they fit great with lots of room for a good thick pair of Winter socks. If you're on the fence about this boot, don't wait anymore, get them now! Comfortable right out of the box, not too high, great fit. Frye ROCKS! And so does Zappos! Ordered on Wednesday night and got them Friday morning... FREE OF CHARGE! Yay!

I own one other pair of Frye boots. I have had them for almost five years, and they only continue to look and feel better with age. I can tell that the same will be true for this style. The initial expense is justifiable because of their durability and classic looks. These are rock solid and worth every penny.

You will have these boots a lifetime!
These are well constructed boots. Worth every penny. Extremely good looking and durable. Size down one full size if you have a narrow heel. I am a 9.5 med width, but in Frye boots I must size down. The boot is perfect one size smaller as it still has room in the toe box and does not slip on the heel. I live in Florida, so wearing multiple pairs of socks etc is out of the question.

Beautiful, cool and comfortable - These boots look better in person! They were easy to break in (about 2 weeks) and are comfortable to walk in all day. I get compliments all the time when I wear them. They look terrific with jeans or a dress. These boots are hot, hot, hot!!!

My beautiful Frye boots!
They are very well designed and the color is amazing. They are called dark brown (but the color is really more like a light brown distressed leather). The color is the best part of the boot. They look amazing on and feel pretty good, they just need to be broken in. There is a slight difference in height in the boots and I had never owned Frye boots before so I called Zappos and they offered to exchange them, but I love them too much to part with them. Zappos customer service was very helpful; I highly recommend them and have already bought something else from Zappos!

I would recommend this boot on this site over and over again. This was the most comfortable boot I have ever bought. The main purpose for me buying this boot was to use when I drive my motorcycle. The boot is so comfortable and nice looking that I also use this boot as general wear too. The service I received from Zappos was also just incredible!!! I received my order the day after I placed it!

Great boot. I got them for my friend who already has a brown pair. She loves them and wears them all the time! Frye makes great boots, you pay for it but it's worth it.

Awesome Boots!
I bought these boots for riding my Harley. I found the Harley boots were not tall enough and the zippers wouldn't stay up. These Frye boots are comfortable, functional and they look great. Well worth the extra money.

Great Boots!
After numerous unsuccessful tries with the Frye Campus boot (thanks Zappos!) I decided to instead try the Harness 12R's. I am very glad I did! I love this boot! I am usually an 8.5 or a 9 and bought these in a 8.5. At first I thought they were a little big but after wearing them I think they are perfect and I am happy I didn't exchange them for a smaller size. I do like having a little room for my feet. I love the dark brown crazy horse color. It has a vintage look to it. I couldn't decide between the belted harness and regular harness but the color sold it. The belted only comes in a dark brown chestnut color but I liked the lighter brown much more. My boots are still in a break-in period so they could be a little uncomfortable after a real long day (over 8 hours) but I really think that will change after a few more wearings. All in all, I think these boots will last a long time and will be worn very often.

I heart Frye boots!
I have been wanting a pair of black Frye boots for years, and finally decided to get them. I am so glad that I did! These boots are so versatile, and look great with jeans and skirts. They were more than I would usually pay for boots, but they are worth it. I could not be happier, and I know that they will not go out of style.

Frye Harness Boots -
I already have the Fryes clog harness boot that I love.
I wanted the taller boot in tan but I had a short wait for my size to come in. With these harness boots I either don't wear socks or if I do they are very thin ones, so instead of my regular size 8 I order 7.5 in these harness type and find they fit great!
I ordered them one eve and got them the next day, WOW!!! I totally love, love, love these boots. I think they are so my style. They are unique and really get looks. I have other boots but these are so my favorite now. Zappos is the BEST!!!

I wavered for a bit on buying these...just got them today and they are so comfortable and I am excited to show them off...EVERYWHERE. I am a nurse, and I almost wore them to work...they feel great and I am thrilled. Zappos delivery is awesome and easy. I have read that their return system works great too...but I hope to not have to try it out!!! I read a ton of the reviews and went with a size smaller than I wear. I have narrow feet and wear a 9...these feel great and loose with no socks...so they will be like a glove with my cycling socks I wear with everything else!

I've been waiting for my size to come in for quite some time. I would definitely go with at least a 1/2 size down if you have narrow feet. My heel still slips a little, but I've been told that is normal with pull on boots and it won't cause blisters. Zappos is the best! Notified me when my size was available and then had them delivered within one day. Great boots.

Very comfortable and stylish -
I've been wanting a pair of harness boots for years now. I read other reviews and decided to order a half size smaller than I usually wear. The boots fit perfectly right out of the box. I wore them at home for about 20 minutes and then wore them to work the next day for an 8 hour shift on concrete floors. I had absolutely no issues with the shoes whatsoever, except that the balls of my feet were tired due to the slight heel. I usually wear Doc Martens or Adidas to work. My feet didn't hurt in the least. I love, love, love these boots!
Now I just need to return the first pair of boots I ordered which were supposed to be a men's in size 7, but came in as a women's in size 7. No worries, I like the women's style boot better than I thought I would and am now glad I didn't get the men's.
I can't wait until the weather turns nicer and I can wear these boots with a little flippy skirt. They look great with straight leg jeans and boot cut jeans as well.

I absolutely love these boots! They’ve been around for such a long time, I don’t know how I got by without purchasing a pair years ago. They seem to never go out of style. They are very very comfortable, and look so good on my feet. The leather never had to be broken in, they feel great. Once again, Frye, you’re the best!

I get more compliments on this boot than any other of my shoes. ps-I ordered a full size smaller after trying on and returning my normal size. I am an 8 1/2, I tried with that first and finally ended up with the 7 1/2. Be wary they run HUGE. They are amazingly comfortable (of course a bit tight at first but each time they get better). They are rock star boots. I love em'.
