Love my boots!!
I recently purchased a pair of Campus boots and when I received them I didn’t like the color so much (sunshine) and they were a little big even though they were my regular size 7. I contacted Zappos and they were great!! They sent me the Banana color (which I love!) and a size 6 1/2. I wore these boots back in the 70's. I loved them than and I love them now! Thanks Zappos for being so accommodating.

Love the boots!
They are a little narrow for my toes - my pinky toes get sore if I walk distances in them. I have wide calves and had to stretch them. They definitely have a break in period, but now I never want to take them off and know they'll last forever.

Nice, but the size is tricky...
Very nice boot. I love the way it looks. It is fun to pair it with a skirt and black tights, or over some skinny jeans. Watch out for the bottom of the boots though- it is painted black on the sole and it has a tendency to chip. Wore them out in the rain, returned home, and I could see the brown showing because the black chipped off. I ordered a half size smaller than what I would have, because of what people were saying. I now wish that I would have just kept it true to size. My right foot is a little larger than my left... so if you have that same problem, then order your true size. Very happy with Zappos though. I moved out of state for my job, but my bank is in another. So they were shipping the boots across state borders. They called to make sure that I had placed the order. Really cool of them.

Love them -
I have been stalking these shoes for a few years now. I loved them in the 70's and couldn't wait to wear them again. As always I love to order from Zappos b/c I'm never disappointed - you always have the size and color I need. These shoes are comfortable overall. A little snug at the top (I have athletic calves) but I'm having them stretched and plan to wear them all winter and into the spring!!! I ordered the banana and they are gorgeous!

Great Boot -
This boot is very comfortable. I usually have a hard time finding a boot that fits my calf, I am not that large but I am not a teenager either. This fits very comfortable all the war around. The leather is nice quality and breaking in quickly.

Favorite boot!
This is my 4th pair of Frye boots and I love them. I have the Campus boots in banana and dark brown. They usually only take one wear to break in and then just keep getting better and better. They look good with skirts or over and under jeans. Feels true to size. Sometimes I need to start with a thin sock till it breaks in and then I can wear anything with them.

This boot is worth the money spent. I bought the dark brown and since I have received them, I wear them 90% of the time. They go with almost anything and are so well made. They will definitely last a lifetime. I want to get the black ones as well, then I can wear this boot 100% of the time.

Love these boots!
These boots are great. You can feel right away that the quality makes them worth the money. They're a bit stiff when you get them, so they take some breaking in. Also, I am usually a fairly wide size 11, but I had to exchange for a size 10, which fits great.

Classic Style - Great Boot - Poor Sizing -
Frye Campus 14L is a classic boot and I would recommend it to anyone, but even if you order from Zappos.com, go try it on in a shoe store first... please. My only complaint is that the size ran large. I am between an 8-8.5 and the first shoes I ordered were an 8. The shoe itself was much longer than all my other shoes. The width felt comfortable, but a little loose. I ordered a 7.5 from Zappos and was planning to exchange it with the 8, but after it arrived, I felt the width, calves, and heel were too tight. However, the length was great. After much deliberation, I decided to stay with the 8. They are definitely a half size larger, but with heavy socks, they seem ok. Zappos.com has an excellent return policy and let me exchange them back and forth with no problem.

Love, love, LOVE these boots! The Blazer Brown color is a dark chocolate color (very different from the picture online). They look super cute with jeans (tucked in or over) and skirts. They run pretty big - I usually wear between an 8 and a 9 and I bought the boots in an 8 and they fit a little roomy (the 7 1/2 fit fine, but were too tight in the calf). I do have some heel slippage, but I was told that the more I wear them, the less it will happen. I highly recommend these; they're a great boot that won't go out of style!

Best Boots ever!
It is truly painful to get through the breaking in period. I went through a lot of bandaids. Order these a half size smaller because they run a bit funny. Once you are through the painful period, you will never take them off. I am so happy that I spent money on something that was actually worth it. The leather is thick - very sturdy. I love them!

Expensive but well made - These boots feel like they will last forever, and hopefully I will like them for that long. They are true to size and are one of the few pairs of boots that fit me well in the calf (I have pretty skinny calves so this might not be the best boot for those with muscular calves). They are comfortable to wear overall, although the stiff leather does rub a bit at the ankle bones (hopefully this will improve as I break them in). I'm not sure I would spend so much on a boot ever again, but plan to wear these every day to make up for it!

I bought these boots in the dark brown and love them. It took me a couple of days to decide on the color, but now I really enjoy them. And I get a lot of compliments on them. They look great with jeans and skirts. This is my third pair of Frye boots and I love them all. Definitely get them.

The best boots EVER!!!!
These boots are amazing. They look great with jeans, leggings, skirts, and pants and are actually VERY comfortable. Yes, it is quite a struggle to get them on but once they're on they feel great. The heel height is just right and the circumference just allows for jeans to be tucked in. They don't come quite to the knee but a couple of inches below, which is actually very flattering to the leg. I ordered the Saddle color and it is beautiful, not at all too orange as other reviewers have felt. It's sort of a light brown with red undertones and it has a worn in look that is just perfect. The boots appear to be extremely durable and I hope to have them for many years (hopefully worth the investment). As always, Zappos was amazing - I ordered on Wednesday morning and they were here by noon on Thursday.

Not what I expected -
I own a few pairs of Frye boots, so when I bought these, I had high expectations. I loved the Dorado short and the Tall Paige riding boots. These, on the other hand, were awful. They were not comfortable whatsoever. The shoe's frame is awkward.

Beautiful boot! I ordered my usual size instead of ordering down half a size since my feet are wide – they fit perfectly! Wide footed gals can wear these! The leather is buttery soft and were comfortable after wearing once. If you like the retro look - go with these.

They are a classic -
This is my second pair. I wear boots everyday, to work and to play. These boots are classic looking. I don’t ride in them, the sole is very slick and there is minimal cushion under the ball of your foot, but they look great with dresses and skirts as well as pants. I'll shop Frye Campus boots forever!

I am in love - I've been wanting these boots for over a decade and finally broke down and bought them. I have fallen in love! They look incredible. But, I'm not going to lie, they need to be broken in to soften the leather. They rub a bit in places, but who cares? They are worth it!

So Cute! I have been debating over whether or not to buy these boots for a while now - and I finally decided to get them and I'm really happy I did. They are really cute. I bought the banana color and I think they are just a great shade of tan that goes with everything. Thanks to the reviews, I wear and bought a 9 1/2, and the fit is perfect. They're comfy and stylish. I've been wearing mine with skirts and jeans and it all looks great!

I ordered these boots, along with the Tina and was so excited to see them arrive in the mail two days later (I'm overseas, so this is really fast). I had to return the Campus though. I ordered the 8, while I am normally an 8.5, and they fit my foot just fine. The problem is my calves are too large for this boot. I am a cyclist and runner and I am always having problems finding boots that fit my calves. They are a nice looking boot, well made, but just didn't fit me. I ordered banana and the color was very nice. They are a little more "cowgirl" than I would have liked, but if that is what you are looking for, this is the boot for you.

These are so cute! Great pair of boots. I ordered the brown and they were a very nice shade. Very rugged, very nice leather. These would last for years and years. Unfortunately for me, my instep is very high, and they were snug across the instep, so I will be returning – reluctantly.

Love these boots! Love Zappos.com! I could not wait to get these boots on and wear them out and about! On their first debut yesterday, I received several compliments, and it's still summer! They were comfortable everywhere, and will be even better once broken in. They were a little snug on one of my calves, but I think I will look into having it stretched, then they will be perfect! I ordered these on a Tuesday afternoon and received them first thing Wednesday morning...shocking and amazing! Zappos rocks and will get my business from now on, as well as my recommendation to others!

Poor Quality -
I bought these boots last winter and loved them! In March the sole of the right boot began to separate from the rest of the boot. I called Frye and they said they would exchange within a year, with a receipt. I didn't have my receipt anymore, so they won't take them back. Now the sole has come off completely. Frye boots are not made like they used to be! Be warned!

TIMELESS CLASSICS -
I have wanted these for a LONG time. I debated size, color, and finally settled on my true to size 7 1/2. So glad I did! They are perfection, size and all. They are built SOLID, quality. They will take some time to break in, leather soles and all. Looking forward to the fall, so I can shuffle around in these timeless classics.

Love this boot! Took less time to break in than my Frye Harness. I got them in yellow, and it's yellow, for sure. Gotten SO many compliments on them! I have big calves, and they are a bit tight if I pull my socks up over my calves, otherwise just fine. Ordered half size up, and actually broke in the toe box with a hammer! Worked great and helped relax the sides a bit, since my feet run just a little wide. Great supportive shoe for walking in the city instead of running shoes. Will have them forever! Zappos is the best!
