Wonderful shoe but low-mileage -
These are great shoes for a beginning runner but had a reputation of breaking down with low miles. I only got about 125 miles on my first pair when my Achilles tendons started screaming in pain. Once I swapped to a new pair of Cumulus 9's (1/2 price from a local running store) the pain went away. But now my second pair are starting to cause the same problems. Hopefully Asics fixed on the Cumulus 10's.

Asics Gel Cumulus 9 -
So I usually wear a 10.5 and they don't carry these in a 10.5, so I ordered a 10 hoping they would fit great, wrong!! I had to send them back and get an 11, but of course they were too big!!! I am sad that I have to return them, because they are so comfy!!!!!

I had a pair of Cumulus shoes a few years back. I like the improvements that Asics has made.

Great comfort shoe -
This shoe really lives up to most of the great reviews. It is so light, so comfortable, it needs no breaking in. I will certainly buy this shoe again and I recommend it highly.

I always have a hard time finding the right running shoe. I underpronate and have knee problems; I really need a 'true' neutral cushioned shoe. The Gel-Cumulus 9 is just right!

Before I purchased these shoes, I read the reviews and I was surprised how many people commented that the shoes seem to run small or shorter than standard sizing. I did not take the advice of others but I wish I did and ordered a half size larger. Beside that fact, I love the shoes, very comfortable and springy. I love the styling and the colors/Titanium-Limeaid. Also loved the width, I ordered 8D and they are very roomy width-wide. I totally recommend these but would suggest ordering a half size larger for ample toe room.

I am a repeat Asics Gel user!
I have medium arches and got fitted at a Road Runner for this shoe a couple years ago. They still fit perfect every time! I use a new pair every 6 months as I run a lot and I also add the Superfeet sole and I am never never disappointed with this shoe! Why fix it if it aint broke?

I have had Asics before but these are the most comfortable yet. I don't walk a lot but I won't walk at all without my Gels.

Great pair of shoes!
I've been buying New Balance for the past 10 years, but have had a problem with a couple of pairs in the last few years. My last pair caused a lot of foot pain to the point I thought I might need medical help. I decided to try a different brand of shoes. These Asics have converted me! All my foot pain is gone. They really are like walking on a cloud. The silver part on the toe, heel, and along the lacing holes is rather shiny. I would have preferred something a bit more muted, but it wouldn't deter me from buying another pair in the future. Love these shoes!

Like walking on a cloud!
Excellent cushioning. It truly is like walking on a cloud. I have always worn Asics Running shoes and this model has more cushioning than any running shoe I've ever had. I love them.

While I do think the Cumulus is a great shoe, sadly, it is not for me. It's very flexible and cushiony but I need something with a bit more support. The shoes felt great walking around the house, but after only one 3 mile walk, the bottoms of my feet were aching. So...my search for the perfect shoe continues....

I bought these shoes without ever trying them on!
Wow was I surprised they are awesome! Light weight, very comfortable and run try to size. I have always worn Asics and this shoe is a great buy!

The Cumulus 9 is very good shoe. They hug your foot and cushion the shock of running. Highly recommended. Good fit out of the box regular shoe size does it!

Cumulus 8 was much better -
I loved the way the old Gel-Cumulus 8 fit. But this new one hurts the ball of my foot. I tried 3 different inserts but there always seems to be this pressure or bump-like feel on the ball of my foot. It must be something about the new design. I can't really wear them, it's too painful. I'm sticking with the older model if it's still available.

These shoes are great for walking. I walk 5 miles a day and love them. I do replace them often due to the amount of miles I put on them. I wish they would come in other colors.

Running on AIR!
I bought these shoes for my daughter who runs long distances and has had some pain after her track meets. She put them on and has now won all of her first track meet events. Coincidence? We don't think so. These are excellent shoes and take a lot of the pain away from running.

A great shoe -
As mentioned by other reviewers, they are a bit deep. A good shoe to put orthotics in. I put an extra heel cushion in because the heel was a bit too deep for me. I take it out when I am cycling and my feet swell a bit. That makes them perfect all around shoes for me.

Not a good shoe for those who actually plan to run -
I always check the reviews on products before I buy them. After reading the reviews for this shoe, I was sold. It was my first time purchasing an Asics brand shoe. One thing to keep in mind is that 80% of people who purchase running shoes never use them for their intended purchase, so it is always hard trusting reviews on running shoes if most of them aren't being ran in. Although these shoes are cute, they make my feet ache. I don't feel like I have any real support. They work just as good as my year old Reeboks. I would try a Reebok or New Balance if you are in the market to find a real running shoe.

Fits my narrow fit -
Great to find a light-weight, comfortable shoe that fits in the heel and still roomy enough in the toe box. Can lace these up nice and snug and don't know I even have shoes on after being on my feet all day. I have VERY NARROW feet, and this is a great athletic shoe for feet like mine.
